Justin is the Man. I went in there to get a ribbon for my smith corona. When I asked how much, he was like, "no charge. Do you want to know why?" I nodded. He points to my T-shirt. It's of the Bad Brains.
We start talking about punk rock/hardcore, the nyc scene, record collecting. Awesome guy. Respect for the family.

My guess is that the need for typewriter repair is going to continue well into the future. The great thing about a job like this is that it can't be done by someone else located on the other side of the globe for far less money. The fact that work like this is actually satisfying to a number of people (those who like using their hands and well as their minds and being presented with new challenges eery day for example) is just the icing on the cake.
