to be honest I dont think the "killing some cat and putting it above the corpse" trick will work?:) A police man should easily see behind that trick, its been used plenty of times. also the police man will probably see that the cat got stabbed and asume it might me a trick. after all: there is a student missing who did not return home, no way they should give up so easily. There was even a case where they put drugs inside a box of dog food but the police did trust the dog and searched through everything- with succes. Also after a few days the corpse should start to smell really strong- even burried. well anyway, I know its just a game (and a really awesome one) but I just wanted to mention it^^

As disturbing as it is, killers in real life have actually used this trick, I read somewhere that a decade or so ago a murderer buried his victim underneath a dead young cow (could've been a horse though, memory is bad). Police dogs found the cow so they didn't investigate further until weeks later because the crime occurred on a farm.

1. Corpses rot. Rotting corpses have an awful stench. 2. Dogs don't make mistakes with their noses. Police know this. If the cat is discovered, the dog will continue to bark, communicating that there is more than just a cat. I am sure police are not new to criminals implementing distractions to try to get away. 3. A murdered, stabbed cat is not suspicious by itself? 4. Even if the police ignore the barking of the dogs insisting that there is more than just a cat (which is not possible in the first place), the gardening club (or even others) will surely discover the corpse. Cats are pretty common around schools, same for kittens. if they dont disrupt the school environment that is. we actually had a sort of "school cat" at my highschool, it somehow kept coming back so the faculty just kinda accepted it as long as it didnt wander into classrooms. it mostly hung out under trees and in the courtyard

Maybe lessen the amount of blood that comes out, or change it to splurts of blood with a wider spread instead of longer? Also, great job with the new method, it's really unique. However, animal cruelty will very often invoke an instintual reaction from most people, even if the animal is fictional. The same with children. Yeah, the dog knows there's a human body, but the key is, dog's can't talk. All it can really do is indicate a location, and let the cops look for something. After the first 'mistake' the cops probably won't listen if the dog tries to indicate the same location again.

People, please! Stop complaining about a goddamn kitten. First of all, this is a game about a psychotic girl who can't feel remorse, this is nothing! Second, if you can't live with yourself for killing a digital piece of code then use a different corpse disposal method.
I think the idea of burying an animal's corpse above the human victim is a good one, but I would recommend using squirrels, raccoons, and other such non-domesticated animals for that. It makes more sense logically - it would be easier to kill a random squirrel that someone's pet cat or dog, they're more commonly found, and the police would be less inclined to investigate it. A squirrel buried on school grounds can be written off as a student finding a dead squirrel and deciding to give it a little burial; a cat/dog not so much. Also, there may be fewer naysayers about killing a wild animal in-game than a pet. I love the game and all the progress you've been making, and I'm excited to see where it goes!!! Squirrels are more common maybe but having it be a domesticated animal really hammers in that Yandere-Chan is a psychopath and NOT a good person. I don't think Yandere dev cares about the naysayers...if they can't handle it maybe it's just not the game for them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Most people who play Yandere Simulator are people who are used to playing other violent games which contains murder of humans, and, being common like that, we have on our minds that it's just something meaningless. We know that it's wrong, but we don't feel any regret either. In the other hand, with animals, I don't know if it's empathy from animals lovers, or the lack of games who use this kind of... Resource, or the animal just being something little who trusted Yan-chan, but it certainly feels different. At least for me. Also, some people might just prefer animals over humans, lol

to be honest I dont think the "killing some cat and putting it above the corpse" trick will work?:) A police man should easily see behind that trick, its been used plenty of times. also the police man will probably see that the cat got stabbed and asume it might me a trick. after all: there is a student missing who did not return home, no way they should give up so easily. There was even a case where they put drugs inside a box of dog food but the police did trust the dog and searched through everything- with succes. Also after a few days the corpse should start to smell really strong- even burried. well anyway, I know its just a game (and a really awesome one) but I just wanted to mention it^^

As disturbing as it is, killers in real life have actually used this trick, I read somewhere that a decade or so ago a murderer buried his victim underneath a dead young cow (could've been a horse though, memory is bad). Police dogs found the cow so they didn't investigate further until weeks later because the crime occurred on a farm.

However, animal cruelty will very often invoke an instintual reaction from most people, even if the animal is fictional. The same with children. It's human nature, because we regard those things as innocent.

I think that it shouldnt be a cat. Not because im sensitive to killing a cat, but because when the dog sniffs up a cat the cops are gonna think "ok, there is a student who is murdering cats on campus". i know its an easter egg, but it makes sense for it to be a rat or mouse because there is a mouse hole and cheese in the school. also, the police can identify stab wounds, so you should have to use the poison that you normally use on kokona and instead use it on the cheese.

When it comes to fictional characters in games and such, it's a lot easier to just accept the violence and cruelty done towards them, because it's become so common. However, animal cruelty will very often invoke an instintual reaction from most people, even if the animal is fictional. The same with children. It's human nature, because we regard those things as innocent.
That being said, if someone had such a reaction towards actual death and seeing such things done to real people, then yes. You're right. That's disgusting and vile and that person might wanna check into a mental institution.

I think the idea of burying an animal's corpse above the human victim is a good one, but I would recommend using squirrels, raccoons, and other such non-domesticated animals for that. It makes more sense logically - it would be easier to kill a random squirrel that someone's pet cat or dog, they're more commonly found, and the police would be less inclined to investigate it. A squirrel buried on school grounds can be written off as a student finding a dead squirrel and deciding to give it a little burial; a cat/dog not so much. Also, there may be fewer naysayers about killing a wild animal in-game than a pet. I love the game and all the progress you've been making, and I'm excited to see where it goes!!! Squirrels are more common maybe but having it be a domesticated animal really hammers in that Yandere-Chan is a psychopath and NOT a good person. I don't think Yandere dev cares about the naysayers...if they can't handle it maybe it's just not the game for them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, I believe that when you add a situation like this (with the cat), you end up creating a proximity with reality. Most people who play Yandere Simulator are people who are used to playing other violent games which contains murder of humans, and, being common like that, we have on our minds that it's just something meaningless. We know that it's wrong, but we don't feel any regret either. In the other hand, with animals, I don't know if it's empathy from animals lovers, or the lack of games who use this kind of... Resource, or the animal just being something little who trusted Yan-chan, but it certainly feels different. At least for me.
