Hey so i ordered the Tap and die and is having a hard time getting it to work and making a thread did you have to grind the leaver thiner first before making the thread? currently the tap & die size i used it 12m 1.75mm the leaver is not a perfect circle and is having issue your have an pointers or tips?

What size tap and die did you use ?
Measure the diameter of your own gear stick and that gives you what size die you need.
