I love when you have a video when you're all sped up like this one! Trying to get all the words out as fast as you can! The Simon bag, vids, collab were great. Your vibes were killing it! Keep up the good work and don't sweat the people that say you talk too fast, it's nice hearing someone that's just excited and rolling!
Tournament videos are actually some of my favorite videos on the channel. It's cool to see the breakdown of how your tournament went and the ups and downs. It shows the journey to when you eventually play your first Elite Event.
See, this is the kind of energy that gets me really excited for disc golf. I've recently benched the sport cuz it got too serious for me, what with doing good at tournaments being most people's goals. I kinda forgot why I got into it, and it boils down to just being excited about the discs, how they fly, the gear around it, and last but not least, the people. So thank you for getting me hyped again! - random viewer from Norway😅
I really enjoyed this video. I usually like watching the disc fly on crazy hyzer flip lines and rad putts being made but this was really nice to hear all this behind the kinda of talk along with a in the bag and bag review. Great job again Anthony. Keep on keeping on!
Man the Discraft Scorch is a great mold to try. It's basically the same shape as a heat but quite a bit faster and it turns slower. For me only throwing 340'ish its dead straight on a hyzer flip but turns in head winds but its controllable especially in Crystal-Sparkle or Z, also the crank bombs and is a tick more stable but feels more forehand friendly/flat but its definantly a 13.
I just bought a prodigy bp2v3 almost same bag was less then 100 Canadian delivered ...I'm sure grip is better quality but for those on a budget there you go and my bag hold 26 discs
Put your disc in the flap pocket right side up. This makes it easier to take discs in and out of the main compartment because their edge can go up into the bottom side of the disc instead of hitting the top of the dome
I love the tourney videos, especially when you describe your shot process and how you decide which shot/disc to use. Speaking of flippy drivers, have you MVP Orbital? Might be a little too flippy for your arm, but for my noodle arm its perfect.
Thanks for the back half of the vid, good stuff. I recently added a 156 g Discraft Hades for that flippy distance driver slot. I carry a wraith and 3 destroyers and was looking for the same thing you're describing
The back zippered pocket is usually for storing the rainfly for the bag 😁 I keep my go-to Zone in the pocket above the main compartment, I cant say it causes them to become puddle topped, but mine always become puddle topped 🤪
I highly recommend the Millennium discs Falcon for that more flippy max distance driver especially the philo runs or for a tad more stable the quantum lunar falcons!! They are my flippy bomber discs
Keep posting the tournament videos bro!! We want to see it!! Love you going after the sponsors! But respect bro make dat moneyyyy 😂🤑💰 love the Reno? Bag! Might have to pick one up!!
The driver you just explained is that of my most favorite driver ever made and my max distance.. CHAMPION KATANA 13 5 -2 3 DONT STRESS ON THE 13 SPEED ..it flys with as much force as the wraith or destroyer It's just one click more then the destroyer.. It's got that little bit of flip but not as aggressive as the hades
You make great content and watching your progress in discgolf has been huge pleasure. You've been great motivator and inspiration for my own discgolf journey. Don't let the negativity get to you and keep doing what you do the best.
Those rails on the bottom are held on with screws and a nut on the inside. I suggest you take a minute and tighten them. I’ve had multiple grip bag rails come loose and loose hardware.
My favorite videos of yours are watching you play tournaments as somebody who can throw a backhand 450 and a forehand 360 with a good put, and am still playing Ma1 so I love watching your approach to tournament rounds, and to me it's more interesting if you really care about your shots, live your channel keep up the good work
Watching the overview of this bag makes me realize what an amazing value my Axiom Voyager Lite is. For $80-90 it's almost as good as the $300 Grip bag. I would even argue that Voyager Lite is better since it's more compact. But that could also be a downside to someone who wants to carry everything that they own in their disc golf bag.
Shoot you know whatever kind of video you post each day, I'll 100% be checking it out. You enjoying yourself in your videos is all I care about! Thank you for all you do and for answering how the Simon videos came about!
You shouæd g’et a insta selfi stick and put it in the umbrella pocket, Them it funktions as a camera stand… i realt like it wit the joby phone holder så you Can film Instagram content….
Genuinely love your very personal and novel content.... buuuut reviewing a grip bag is like reviewing a Toyota Corola... we know, get a Rufus. It's the best bag. Simon is awesome, the bag is too, love you.
Constructive criticism - slllowwww down. You talk so fast it's hard to keep up with the conversation, and you're winded from doing it. Also the 6 minutes at the front not talking about the bag are frivolous; I ended up skipping them to get to the bag review in the title. Other than that, nice videos, keep up the good work. We need more quality UA-cam discers.
A pro once told me to not have a disc I can't replace. This was many years ago when the Roc was very popular. Most people had 3 Rocs in their bag. 1. new 2. sort of beat-in 3. really beat-in. The pro said to season (beat-in) a disc before you need it. You should have multiple of each of a disc that you rely on.
Have you tried the Westside Sword?? It’s pretty flippy out of the box in VIP and Tournament plastic. Worth a shot if you’re still looking for a flippy driver
Bro i'm a small content creator and have to ask how to grow bigger as a channel. Also if you ever roll around the Hattiesburg, MS area hit me up!! Would love to play together.
Try out WESTSIDE Queen. Had one in a base plastic and it was so awesome until I beat it up. I assume a premium plastic would be somewhat less flippy but would beat in perfect
I have only had one disc bag, and maybe it’s just this one, but I do no like the bag handle on the top being built into the shoulder straps. It feels uncomfortable when I tighten the straps when I have a long distance to walk.
An idea for your tourney videos is doing a practice round video that is like your normal style videos then do a highlights montage for the tourney its self with some commentary over it in post production.
If you are looking for a great flippy distance driver, look into the trespass. I throw mostly destroyers as well but for a great hyzer flip distance shot the trespass in the Lucid Orbit Ice plastic, or the Orbit raptor eye plastic are $$$$
Also I just got the eagle grip bag and used it for a tournament last weekend, and you can fit a tri fold chair in the umbrella slot which is super nice for tournaments!
Yo! You've got to try a DD Captain if you're looking for the flippy driver slot. CRAZY under rated. We have similar arm speeds, and I throw nukes with captains as drivers. For uphill driver shots or big hyzer flip distance shots the captain GOES!
a little, I try to limit my bag to 2 molds max from a company, so I'm looking outside of innova, discraft, birdie, lat64 and maybe to a smaller company!
In a similar vein, I think the halo Tern might work in that slot - a star tern is likley to be way too flippy but the halo plastic gives it some meaningful integrity. But innova.@@BodanzaDiscGolf
The old Simon Bag is pretty much the exact same design, and I have always used that extra pocket on the back for my utility, stupid OS discs. Just whatever I use the least/situationally. For me and my skill level, it has been a Splice for a long while now. And that little lip pouch right above the main, front pocket has always been my spot for my approach disc, which for me is a Distortion!
Having to force discs in and out of a mostly full bag is why I went with the Combat Commander bag by Dynamic Discs. Completely open disc area, huge side pockets, very comfortable to wear, and much cheaper than the Grip bags of the same size.
The Simon Collab definitely was a favorite of mine, so cool that it came together. Thanks for the backstory. I leave you with a smash a some ad revenue. Catch you next time.
For the flippier bomber disc I may suggest a swirly proton or cosmic neutron streamline Trace. A pinch less glide than some Wraiths but the hand feel and speed out of your hand is so nice.
Ask any questions about the bag here in a reply to this pinned comment and I'll try to answer them :)
Do you think winning this bag is the single greatest accomplishment in your disc golf career?
haha probably still think it's cashing at KC Wide open, but this was close!@@ethanshepard5398
how do I play with Simon?
ask nicely and get lucky 🤷♂@@RodmDG
Are you going to lug it around when you play at Johnny Roberts? 😅

The AX5 is great!!! You will love it. I use mine when I go to courses that aren't to cart friendly.

try out the yikun discs "QI" in dragon plastic. it is my favorite flippy distance driver.

Absolutely love the shot by shot tournament videos. Favourite by far.
Simons the goat ! And so are you !!

Try the new Discmania DD! I live in Colorado, and even playing at 6000+ feet it gets some very nice flip and glide
The driver you just explained is that of my most favorite driver ever made and my max distance..

Oi! Let me know when you drive up I-44 through St Louis. Do some dog stuff...
Still stoked about your Loot Bag.

So it’s just a review of an AX5? Only thing different is the color way. It’s a nice expensive bag but I still prefer my DD Ranger bag over my AX5.
If u need a understable distance driver try a HARRIER
def will have to give that a shot!
Bro i'm a small content creator and have to ask how to grow bigger as a channel. Also if you ever roll around the Hattiesburg, MS area hit me up!! Would love to play together.

I have only had one disc bag, and maybe it’s just this one, but I do no like the bag handle on the top being built into the shoulder straps. It feels uncomfortable when I tighten the straps when I have a long distance to walk.
That lower back pocket comes in clutch for a found disc, a spare putter, water disc, or as a security pocket for phone wallet ect.
NO TIMELAPSE? NO GLITCH? You killed it with those...

Get an extra towel in that lumbar pouch. Nice to have an extra towel and it makes the pad more comfortable. Love the content.
Try the Wild Honey for that understable slot, I bag two, one is a roller and the other will hyzer flip turn and just sit flat
Give the thrasher a chance as your flippy distance. Its got a dinosaur on it and that gives it more distance. 👍
Back to playing your videos at x 0.75 speed.
Interesting video. Those Calvin Destroyers are really domey indeed. I sorta haven't even learned to throw it yet.
Look into a Gateway Spell as your Destroyer replacement you were talking about.
Anthony goated
Destroyer you should try pro plastic slightly flippy out the box and beats inn easier
Bro flippy high speed driver gotta bag a Kahu XG.
It looks like that putter pouch is bigger than mine, maybe im trippin, but ibhave the same bag
Please continue with tournament gameplay
Please keep posting the tournament rounds for us die hards

Id say try a clash wild honey. They are super nice and the steady plastic is amazing feeling in the hand
Best place for phone and keys is the zipper pocket in front of the putters!
are you a full time disc golfer or do you have another job?
Starting to look a bit like Freddie Mercury now 😉🤟
I'd say get a Sword for that reaally flippy destroyer slot!
A driver to give you more Tern???? I can think of one! 😀
Yo! You've got to try a DD Captain if you're looking for the flippy driver slot. CRAZY under rated. We have similar arm speeds, and I throw nukes with captains as drivers. For uphill driver shots or big hyzer flip distance shots the captain GOES!
well now i need a video of you and simon vs. casey and broderick lol
I live in pueblo we should get in a round sometime
Have you considered the Hades for a flippy distance driver?
I bag a hades for that slot and love it!

I love my Grip bag.
Love that your mixing up your video styles and doing this sort of video. Awesome that you played with Simon saw that vid of course.
For the flippier bomber disc I may suggest a swirly proton or cosmic neutron streamline Trace. A pinch less glide than some Wraiths but the hand feel and speed out of your hand is so nice.
Dang dude the tournament videos are some of my favorites. Could they be better? Probably. But I still enjoy them!
Thrashers are SUPER flippy. I don't bag one but they fly similar to my heat.
Coca is a hell of a bean
I think you’ll love a Scorch. Especially in that new Titanium blend.
Networking is definitely a real thing. I like the ramble videos and transparency.
Always Ultra Informative! ENCORE !!!
I use the small "phone pockets" in the slid for mini's and such, makes it super easy to grab a putter and a mini at once!
So awesome! Hoping to buy one when they drop, that day I'll be playing out in Buena Vista! haha
7 Fairways???
I think if you have one up the other would have happened eventually anyways!! 🔥
Flippy distance driver. Pro destroyer
Looks SICK
Glad you won it!
Love it
You lucky dog!
No luck here
