its amazing to me thst simon can take some discs he has never thrown or wven seen thrown, and within a few holes he has them dialed in better than me with discs ive been throwing for years.
In the early days of MVP when there was only a fan facebook page, we all gathered and stamped our own discs for the first fan page meet up. They had 2 or 3 Ions without an overmold that we were throwing back and forth into some baskets in the warehouse.
I want a job there, put in a word for me. I started with this company in 2010 haven't looked back. Proud of their vision and growth as company. It just perfectly encapsulates and Validates my DG Journey so far. Long Live Maple Valley Plastics and Long Live this Beautiful Sport!
Been trying to get some buddies to throw a round with Macro Tesla's for years now. I have like 5 of em, but they won't do it. Maybe this will help them to realize DG is about more than acting like you're in a tournament even in casual rounds. Disc golf should be fun, first and foremost.
We just did a club round with 7+ speed only in a typical Wellington (NZ) breeze (so 40kph wind)... Who would have though my putter of choice, was an inverted Rive... Apparently someone managed to get to the sea... which is 500ft away in a straight line (45deg off from the line of the most likely hole tee...). I watch a card player release high (he normally gets 300+ ft on this particular hole... It went up about 200 ft.. and ended up possibly 50ft away.. about 10ft from a black ace on the previous basket.. Fun day. (and my best round on my local for 2 years was with my Pig only)... You gotta just let go sometimes. I'm getting a Roller Drive only round on the books soon, and maybe a marker upshot one...
@@justjay3750It's the aperture of the lens. A low F-stop (big aperture) let's in a lot of light, at the expense of it being harder for the camera to focus. The same reason why you might squint when you're trying to read something far away, you make your eye's aperture smaller.
I found my macro teslas to be a very under stable flippy disc, but they still can bomb if you get the hyzerflip right. Give it 60% power and I’ve bombed it 300ft+, which is pretty astounding for a mini if you think about it. Also, I wasn’t sure what’s going on, but I think the bro of your hat lets more light through than a normal snap back, and it kind of made your face glow in a cool way! Haven’t seen that before.
Can you make a video trying the overmolds from other companies that MVP sent you in the winter?? overmold buzz and overmold TL, would be so cool to see how they fly
Awesome content as always. Quick question/favor: Can you please get MVP to make some more drivers on the Streamline branch? Would love a 12/5/-1/2 and a 12/5/-1/3 on that line.
Out of all the 6-inch macro discs I've thrown the Tesla is is the flippest of all just lay on on a table and you'll see it is way to low it's nothing like a full size Tesla but i do like the crank macro because it's the most straight and farthest flying one of them all. I would love to see a stable macro time lapse though 😃
There is a size requirements for discs and these are too small, but just small enough to be a mini so no, these are not PDGA approved. If they were, I would use those to hit really small gaps.

Lends credence to the saying "it's the archer not the arrow"
Exactly what I was thinking!
One day Simon will let me pick up the snakes 🤣
Do. Not. Pick. Up. The. Snake. 😅
😂😂 that thing was safe! I’m sure he was a real cuddle bug
Hope Simon never loses that childlike Wonder thanks for the video Simon you have a great personality
I want to see how just the overmold flies
that might be what an Aerobie ring is lol

I got one of my first drivers from a guy in a parking lot that had 3 boxes of Nitros (way too much disc for a beginner) that he made himself. Haha.

Just picked up a couple of your Proton Hummingbird Teslas today! That stamp is beyond meaningful for my mother and myself. 🙏
Time to get Team MVP and elite series winner Silva Saarinen on the channel!!!
Quick suggestion: Increase the f-stop a bit so the camera doesn't have to refocus so hard when you try to film the disc in the air🤙
the f-stop yes, great idea I was thinking the same.
what the f is the f-stop tho?
If he’s shaded in the trees he probably needs to keep the apartere wide open if he wants to minimize noise by using less ISO.
It's all about that silky bokeh these days, don't ya know?
@@ericjepson3765 Also that.

Man I was missing videos like this. The robot and now this back to back?
Fun vid, Simon!!
But it's always fun watching you have fun! 😎

Are the white Simon Line hats available yet?
The real question we all want an answer to
Play chester mountain course simon! Played it heading out of MA last weekend. Great mountain course for video!
It’s really impressive that he putts so good with these minis❤
nice to see you throwing the Macro Teslas, finally. 😝Proton versions are the best version.
4:04 Is that Ben or Micky Mouse on the camera?
Impressive friend......wish they made oversized discs to challenge the other side of crazy!
Looking forward to the next fun video Simon. I watch them all.
Those are fun to throw I remember when they first came out many years ago the mvp metal mini was also fun to throw
I love Louisa Lake! I usually play Whites then Blues. Kudos to you and Avery!
Shot of the day guy is hot 🔥
Yeah let’s see more shots from Cody Maisonneuve’s he’s dreamy!
I NEED that hat dude?! What brand? Is it out? where can i get it!
You're being a real ace hole with how good you are
Man I wish I could get that shirt. Tell MVP to make non team ones Simon!
I would love to see you throw more silly stuff! Something like plastic plates or maybe even the original frisbee pie tins! 😅
Found one of these at Luisa Lake yesterday hole #1... No ink on it. Gee I wonder whose it is??
Awesome content as always.
Quick question/favor:

Ben Kenny behind the camera??? 😂 I got my Ben's tackle shack hat on right now
Simon… Definitely my favorite disc golfer! ❤
The Simon Teslas are available today! I got one to throw and one to save!
Wonder what Simon's favorite mid from MVP/axiom/streamline is?
Hex, baby, all day.
I’d love to see your full stretch routine
Simonline novermold?

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found those macro teslas flippy.
SIMON I NEED THAT HAT!!
I tried finding it too, haven’t been able to yet
I got my new Tesla today! Absolutely love it already. Looks amazing.
Watching my home course with mini discs do better than I always do.
“Novermold” discs by MVP. Can’t wait for the new line 😜
Simon did a great job with the pre-release hype
New england disc golf center in southwick ma has a mini course that be perfect to take them macro's to 💯
Where can I get one of those hats?
I need one of these but with a picture of Minnie Driver, the actress, on the disc...cuz...mini-drivers.
That’s the first thing that came to mind when he said that 😂
The disc throwing robot was on William Osman's channel today!
Love your shirt. Are they available for us ams?!?
How do we get those hats they’re 🔥
Got the drip in this video where you get the them shoes too?
@@mikeycontreras9193 Look a lot like Idio Sports Syncracy. Sexton and Pierce are using those, and quite many others.
Just aced six the other day, let’s go Simon!
Simon is amazing!
Simon, where can we get that hat???
Ben is the best camera man
I would love to play with discs that are between this size and regular discs. Would be like so perfect for my tiny hands.,
And more Room to fit between those trees i usually hit… 😢
😂😂😂
This was fun thanks
why is Simon not on the tour btw?
we need more MVP/ Simon Line/ Axiom merch!!
Noticed the bill on his hat is almost translucent??? Or maybe it's plastic??
Simon could throw a pancacke farther than i could throw a beat up Wraith. That was made clear today with these tiny discs.
Love the Stanley cup basket! Even though it belongs in Florida 😂
Thanks for posting!
Get your hands on some of the old first run macro teslas, they all flew with some decent stability
Amazing and interesting content, Simon!!
Me: Oh, look Simon plays really well with this "non-overmold" Disc. My Girl: I think he would be brilliant even if you gave him a pot lid. 😆😆😆😆
simons getting fit my guys
holy cow you are accurate with them, dang haha
This guy can throw anything round, anywhere he wants. I’m gonna send him my grandmas Norman Rockwell plates to watch him ace those.
Acehole is my favorite discgolf word😂
Damn, Simon can throw.
Where I can get that hat?!
This video notification popped up as I was walking out of Louisa.... Weird
14:08 Nice Stanley Cup
I was thinking the exact same thing 😂
No Eclipse Macro Tesla?
Get Ben on the camera every video. Bros got great commentary and a kind voice😊.
ive been waiting for this video for months
Yes!! New video
Great video
Looks like a nice size disc for say a 5yr old to get them into the sport.
Are MVP selling the hat's simon is wearing in this yet or?
You should go to kastaplast 😊
Simon is still way better than me with macro discs. 😂 Why is he so nasty at putting with those things.
MVP should make them more stable so that Simon could try to match AB's 500 ft macro marker shot.
Maybe MVP could make some oversized discs next? 🙏
Love you're videos
Now we need an AB mini nuke vs Simon teslas!!!
MVP would have to come up with something more stable. That is not stable enough to be thrown 500 ft :)
MVP will start marketing the -Ave.
Is there anyone on UA-cam more entertaining in disc golf?
I like Ben. Ben is good camera man.
You need a tiny grip bag for these.
Challenge for MVP, design a disc but use the gryo for the plate, then use the plastic for the over mold
I've noticed you've been waering Idios lately. How do you like them?
classic intro lmao
so good
Is Simon scared of snakes 😏😏😏😏😏😬🥰
I want Simon to do a whole tournament with only these mini discs. just show up to a b or c tier, and just see what happens.
Are they PDGA approved? I assume not but 😂
There is a size requirements for discs and these are too small, but just small enough to be a mini so no, these are not PDGA approved. If they were, I would use those to hit really small gaps.
I mean it needs to be called a no-vermold, right?
Prior to this video I would have said I could beat Simon if I had a full bag and he threw minis. Then, this video. 🤷♂️
If you ever need a caddie camera operator in Missouri, let me know!
My 3 year old plays with the macros. They only go 20 feet for him but that’s just a him problem.
Whyy is it macro not micro
Sometimes YT nails it. They gave me an add for Ace at the end of this video. Lol
...obviously 😂😂😂
Simon is killing the disc golf UA-cam game! Keep it up. We love watching.
