I live in Nashville and Sebastian Roger's father Seth Rogers is searching Natchez State Park this weekend. He is asking for volunteers and I intend to go. If possible, would you mind making an announcement? This poor man is suffering horribly and got a tip that his boy might be in that Park. The media is not really covering it because they're more interested in covering whether the stepfather had anything to do with it. This poor man is not. getting the support he deserves. Thank you.
God be with all .. I pray Seth finds his boy soon.. He has been doing evrything anything to find his child..Bless your heart for helping ,I too would joined if I was near...But my PRAYERS go with all who's hearts are with SETH & 💚SEBASTIAN 💚. BLESSINGS💚 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Yeah, ‘you aren’t in trouble’ and belt? He needs taken up a holler for a good talking to. What, pray tell, did Sebastian ever actually do that was so ‘wrong’? Not a dang thing, I bet.
He apparently also would throw Sebastians' belongings in the trash if Sebastian was asked to clean his room and didn't do it to Chris standard. He's a nasty piece of work for sure.
@@mellymouse72 Yeah. It's heartbreaking to hear what that poor child went through and if Mr. Chris is so inclined, ..what has come out so far may just be scraping the tip of the iceberg. When Chris talked about the trash punishment he said it like he was proud of it and was actually advising other parents to do the same.
After seeing the initial interview, the stepfather saying he was "strict" and Sebastian's mother saying "come home, you won't be in trouble" stuck out / my first thought was - he's been abused and it escalated.
He was upset because stepdad was coming home. I would need the alibi on where CP was on the evening/night of his disappearance and the kids/people that Sebastian ever talked to, if any.
Peter, I'm only halfway through and the second you mentioned that Sebastian wears a nappy but only when he's with his mum and stepdad that was when I could 100% see that he's no longer alive. My youngest son has autism and was always very upset and anxious about going to his father on a weekend. Sebastian has said he was scared of his stepdad and if he was forced to wear nappies or was having accidents but not with his own father then that unfortunately shows me that he was no longer safe at home.
I think the step father’s dismissive laughter at the notion that this disabled boy could pose any problem or challenge for his hubris and masculinity….reveals that he was combative and abusive and at odds with Sebastian because he felt insecure about himself
watchin on Trev.. one of Mr proudfoot's ex-wifes.. from what she shared.. and the way he was with her.. I have to wonder .. if he doesn't have Katie under some abusive mental condition... if you have a chance go find the interview.. wow.. Nina went thru alot!!
I was engaged to a man who exhibited the traits of Chris's personality after he put a ring on my hand. That ring on my finger was like a switch of his personality. He became controlling and tried to isolate me. I'm a people watcher when I'm out and about. He would get angry if when we were out to dinner if I would look away from our table at someone, no NOT other men, but anyone. I finally had enough and broke it off.
My son is 8 & autistic, it broke my heart to hear that this step dad used the belt on Sebastian. Then Chris saying he’d throw away or get rid of anything Sebastian didn’t take “proper care of….like his toys/pet💔
Is that in a video, I can look up? That's BS! You can't beat behavioral issues from a child and he shouldn't put his hands on him period!!! I have a special needs grandson that I raise as my own. It's not easy and it takes LOVE and patience!!
@@karen6767 Yes it was on Smileys interview & channel last night. He sounded proud to be this kinda Dad & the mother was ok with it all?!?!!!!🤷🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️ 🤷🏼♀️
This all bothered me so bad and how actually proud he was of his power over Sebastian to dole out his punishments on him. He went on and on about it. I had to turn it off. I just couldn't listen to it I was getting so upset and stressed.
This case changed completely in public eyes with last nights interview. There is no doubt anymore the parents are responsible for this, absolutely not a single doubt. Even in his time of supposedly being "missing", the rage in the stepdads voice is still apparent
Those 2 adults are both culpable for what has happened. I don’t care if the mother was intimidated by her bullying husband. She is an adult and had every obligation and opportunity to protect and remove Sebastian from any access to the step father….No matter how hard that might have been for her!! I’m so sick of the weak parent getting a pass!, Sebastian is probably dead now!
Perfectly stated! No excuses. Her ex lives nearby, Sebastians dad Seth. She could have asked him for help. Maybe that’s why he was supposed to go live permanently with his dad.
Hi Peter, the stepfather is also all over social media. He’s always combative and bullying with people. Why should he care what everyone else thinks? He should be hellbent on finding where Sebastian is.
Yep and lied over a month ago saying they both took a lie detector and "passed" when that's FALSE and when Nancy Grace offered he said "Sure will tell me the time and place" and IMMEDIATELY backed out when she set it up
I think the stepdad c proudfoot (terrible last name btw) best him into unconsciouness and he didn't wake up. Mom and stepdad both covered it up. This was prolonged physical and mental abuse. Poor kid. @@kellyhiller3977
First of all, I didn't understand why their regular weekday before his disappearance was so jam-packed with so many "fun" activities. Bowling, great food, fun. Maybe it happened but it seemed created from guilt. It reminded me a lot of how Candace Wells described the day Summer went missing. It was packed with so much love, swimming, summer fun and candy. "Whenever he gets back, that boy is going to have more friends than he knows what to do with" seemed like a strange comment from the mother. Uh, like your kid is missing. He's not at summer camp. It's a weird comment. I really have no idea what happened in this case. It's such a strange case.
Yes, I thought the same thing about the relating the fun jam packed days. It does sound reminiscence of CW. But, my thought is it was a way of making everything seem like this is how the Mom and Sebastian typically spent days together. It borders on perhaps the Mom knew she was going to have to promote the jam packed days as being typical, and she was a great Mom. Did she know “something “ was going to happen to Sebastian?? Perhaps the jam packed days were one last hurrah for Sebastian. One last hurrah before something bad happened. Just my opinion… allegedly. I can’t help me thoughts.
@@Madcaps215 I thought the same thing about the "last hurrah". Let's take him to do some favorite things before... The more I hear, the harder it is to give KP and CP the benefit of the doubt. Also, taking him out to various places provided camera and receipt evidence he was alive and well.
Also, the weekend started out as Costco on Sunday, then it changed to Costco on Saturday, BJ’s on Sunday (because he likes the samples), then it was BJ’s on Sunday and “supper”, then it was BJ’s on Sunday (now he had a jumbo popcorn), Bowling, and Supper (but we don’t know where they ate and have had no verification from LE nor evidence, like the Saturday Costco receipt that got Costco suddenly changed from Sunday to Saturday and the Sunday stuff started ballooning. And the way they talk about “what they did as a family” is absolute BS. Those may have been things they did over a span of the years Sebastian was in that home with them, but that’s not what they regularly did for the heck of it. They were probably things Katie did to make up for their abuse. And I believe Katie is as abusive as Chris. Together it was pure chaos for Sebastian.😢
My parents had this same abusive relationship. For those who can't believe a mother would act like this... My mother to this day (40 years later) won't let us say anything bad that my father did even though he is dead. She still gets that same look on her face as Sebastian mom. The power of the abuser is unbelievably strong
My mother blamed me for making my stepdad so angry that he has to beat me. Never said a bad word to his face about it, but I, at 7 years of age was to blame for his anger outbursts. It really is mad.
That’s a huge flag. I think the step dad found a perfect submissive in this woman and he is standing by her, and I believe she knows what happened. It’s possible that he drove back from Memphis and helped his lover and then back to the job. This sort of leverage on her could be irresistible to him. 5 times at bat, he’s looking for or trying to create the perfect wife- he may have found it and is trying to keep it. 5 women willing to marry him, he has to have charisma regardless what you think you see in the interviews.
My brother is married to his 4th wife. His problem is pretty obvious. He's very moody, gets very possessive and controlling once their married. After awhile they no longer could take it , left him and filed for divorce. The one He's with now admits she's miserable with him, but is afraid of what he'd do if she left him. They're both in their 70's now. She's the primary breadwinner and would be quite comfortable leaving him.
Lots of parents would say that. Teensxate afraid of getting in more trouble, and kids who are usually all about rules even more so. Tia Sharp's father said it and he didn't hurt her. Al Stauch did. It's actually a GOOD sign that they're willing to say loaded words instead of avoiding them.
@@chellesama8256 why would they say that though? When has it ever been presented that he did something that he’d be in trouble for? The fact mom said that is a red flag in my opinion? Also when asked what she’d say to him you’d think she’d say I love and please come home. If he’s such a great kid and doesn’t get in trouble why would she say that?
I enjoy your plain talk and analysis without fear of offending the public. Your honesty is refreshing. We want to learn from what you share and we care about these missing children. Thank you for your insight.
Why would the mother allow her son to be whipped with a belt for minor incidents? Why would a mother allow physical & emotional abuse to their special needs child? I believe the mother & stepdad are both abusive!
Fear .. would be my guess. She probably didn’t always allow it but has been worn or conditioned into a fearful defensive-submission? .. Also, it’s possible she is also on the spectrum herself and so also prone to dis- regulation? .. or maybe is triggered if she thinks Sebastian’s behavior is going to bring down his wrath on him because the splash and flash will spill onto her also. It’s possible she is a bit like a fear-aggressive beaten dog where Sebastian is concerned.. like she could snap and bite and retreat. Just pondering .. but obviously I could be way off the mark, because I’m only basing my thoughts on what I have been able to observe in the media.
@@pamelasmith6221 Yeh. Really makes you wonder. How long have they been together, do you know? It was probably a case of “bait & switch” .. he was looking for someone vulnerable .. and she was just looking for a husband, I guess. I doubt he showed his true colors before marriage coz inexplicably he seems to have no trouble getting wives (which I find baffling).
The stepdad said he's ready to address any questions anyone online has. Why on earth would he spend time answering questions about himself and "setting the record straight"? Is that the most important thing for him?
"Mr Chris" says it all for me. But then she mentioned Sebastian left without his glasses! *Beats him with a belt *Gave away his pet snake *Married 5 times My heart hurts for that young man. I fear they are involved. I don't trust either one. How can you? They don't show their faces! Cowards!
He did have his glasses. Unless this is another new twist and she is now saying he did not have his glasses, which would seem par for the course. But I’m pretty sure up till now he left wearing his glasses.
Sebastian must have been terrified of his tyrannical step father and a mother who stood by and did nothing to protect this special child. Sadly, I do not foresee a happy conclusion to this story. Praying for Sebastian 🙏
When the mom said she called the step father in the morning and said he wasn’t there….the way she worded it sounded like it was a continuation of an ongoing conversation rather than an announcement that Sebastian was missing
She sure did call the dad quick, why not go outside and look for him, he wasn't in his room so she called the dad and said he was missing, yeah cus she made him go missing
@@annette2326 he said the footage of his house that very night with suspicious activity on it is not important. If that's not stange to you i don't know what is. If it was my kid I'd take that video on another continent if that's what it took to make clearer
This pathetic step-father loved to Humiliate SEBASTIAN. Such a disgusting human. Poor innocent boy .Such a Narrissicit behavior and control. SEBASTIAN STRONG 💚💚💚💚
step fathers ex wife filed for emergency custody of their children when she learned sebastian was missing. we need to hear from stepdads many ex wives! its also not normal for a parent to move out of state during a custody battle.
Same ex wife Katie harassed and Chris has for years and he was seeking full custody, Sebastian was supposed to be a witness for their custody case on MARCH FIFTH
It was also Chris's sister son who raped Sebastian when he was nine and they wanted to hide that identity from coming out and Katie STILL remained in contact with both and made Sebastian see both
My eldest grandchild is 19 and mildly autistic. He repeatedly tells us he loves us. It is like its his way to relieve anxiety and he is in a very loving environment.
So does my Best Friend who has 2 boys, 16 and 21 both with autism. Every time they see me, they hug me and say they love me and I LOVE them so much! the one that is worst is constantly hanging on his mom and telling her he loves her. She's very attentive and patient with him. They are very SPECIAL boys and so sweet, also very polite. Their mom has taught them well. they don't want to see their Dad because he doesn't talk to them, but he just picks them up, drops them off to his mom's house. they tell their Mom what he does, and they Don't want to see him anymore.
I watched bio dad on The Lab last night. My heart goes out to him. The difference in how he communicates as opposed to the mom and step dad speaks for itself. Parents who want their children back are unmistakably frank in their communication of the same. They don't give a xxxx about how they are perceived. There are no self serving statements. There are genuine requests for help in searching at actual locations where they show up.
Thank you for the analysis. Initially I believed the step dad to be the “strong, silent type,” and I withheld judgment. When I saw the most recent interview, however, alarm bells went off that something was wrong here. For one, the stepfather did so much talking. Also the mother looked afraid. Speaking from my own experience, young people with autism tend not to lie very much. They may see the world in a concrete manner, which makes the leap into the alternate reality that a lie implies, very difficult. Also, a core feature of autism is not being able to put oneself in someone else’s shoes. Therefore they cannot imagine what lie they would need to tell to achieve a desired result, because they don’t understand the other person’s vantage point. Everyone is different, I’m speaking in generalities here. I do not know Sebastian. But this statement that he lied struck a chord because I have a daughter with autism. (And it was a horrible thing to say, period.)
Me neither. I am not a specialist, but I work with children being on the spectrum. Each of them is unique, but usually they are very straightforward and truthful. (When they have the ability to speak)
My heart hurts for Sebastián, where is he ? Is he cold, hungry, or hurt ? Did he get lost and drown ? I would repeatedly call out his name and have to be medicated and institutionalized if he were my son. I would walk the streets and the woods constantly looking for him. I would never stop. I would lose my mind from grief.
Me too. I have a daughter who has autism. The horror/terror of not knowing she was happy & safe would torment my every moment & I'm sure would drive me insane.
I feel the same way. My son isn't autistic (at least not diagnosed), but he went missing for about an hour last summer, and I was just about hysterical. Both of my sons go to the same school as Sebastian, so this has really bothered me.
The second I lose sight of my kids when we are out in public I get that sinking feeling in my stomach and start to panic. Luckily they’ve never been far but I just can’t imagine what it would be like if I really couldn’t find one of them.
Insecure people often take the behaviors of autistic people very personally. They imagine the autistic is trying to undermine insult and ignore them. It's a nightmare.
This man, the step-father, is an abuser born of his own prior abuse. His insecurities are potentially lethal to others, let alone some poor kid living in captivity with him, autistic or not.
From a family full of autistic types, some autistics are tyrants! Not blaming them but black/ white thinking they want it their way! As you said he may take this personally
@@floridabbyy , me too. He really changed my life about 10 years ago. I began to really understand how important our words are ! I truly thank God for Peter and his ability to convey his lessons in such a calm and precise manner 🙌🏽🙏🏽☝🏾
I've always studied words and the meanings, it's what pushed me into teaching myself law. As it carries multiple meanings for words we believe are English. Peters understanding of words and how we use them is simply outstanding
No step monster is really big on big in control. Step Monster was probably abused himself, but it's on him to get help for that at age 18 or thereafter, so that he doesn't repeat generational abuse.
Especially autistic teenagers and with my son it’s not because he’s rude or acting like your average teenager it’s because my son doesn’t understand social cues
I think the stepfather was home when Sebastian went missing. He slipped up in his interview saying "we" too often. He commented that if Sebastian went through the window and fell in the flower bed, "WE" would have heard him scream.
Maybe he was locked out, and one of the 3 parents located him, harmed him, got rid of evidence, and lied to other parent(s) saying they couldn't find him. 😲
@@woodfairy7051why one of three? His bio father wasn't anywhere around. Supposedly neither was step dad, Mr Chris. I'm thinking mom hurt him and the step monster is helping her cover up.
I noticed that too, and first he said we went to pick up my fifth wheel, but later changed it to I went to get it myself. He said they have NOT processed that house. I can’t believe LE hasn’t learned to do that early on! All these missing and murdered children, millions spent on searches, but fail to profile and process earlier on. Why?
And the last interview where he called in last night. Was very telling. He’s so abusive mentally and physically. And brags about it like what he’s doing is being a good parent.
In your last discussion on this topic, when the step father used the word "flooded" it immediately seemed an odd word choice, almost an imbedded confession. And now to hear you thoughts the lost boy might be in water, it rings out even more.
Also, it is not NORMAL for CPS to be involved with a family....especially not normal to be involved in two states. And in TN, he mentioned that when the CPS worker came to the house, he already knew the person. So they have been called more than once.
Looks like maybe he was able to fool/charm the CPS worker. My Niece's ex was like that. He could fool the social workers into thinking he was the victim and great parent.
It broke my heart when stepfather talked about taking his pet snake away 😢 When parents get pets for their kids, they know that they will be doing a LOT of the pet care. That was cruel to take away his pet.
Did yens hear him say "if Sebastián went out the we we would have heard it"? I firmly believe step dad was there that night. I also believe he had issues with his employer but he said "when I go back to work" yet then he said he was at work last night covering a 12-12 shift yet he was on an interview with Smiley. How do you operate a crane and navigate YT? I firmly believe mom was just as abusive as step dad. Step dad abuses mom emotionally and mentally (possibly physically) then mom misplaces her anger on Sebastián. So sad. I have 2 boys 19 & 10. I have been widowed for 7 yrs and I would be hard pressed to bring a man into my home. Be derned. My mom was married and divorced 6 × before i was 12. The last 3 were really abusive.Nobody ever messed with me because I would attack them when they hurt mom. I distinctly remember a time when i was around 19 (done moved out) and my sister called because Dan had mom in a choke hold in the driveway and my lil sis was throwing rocks at his head. Dan went on to paralyze my mom and leave her. I raised my sister and mom regained her health despite being paralyzed. She lived another 15 yrs happily and little sister got to travel with People to People student ambassadors. My husband and I were determined to give her a better life. She is now married with 2 kids and owns a farm in one of the New England states. Proud of her.
That is one heck of a life. My kids were all 5 yrs apart accept the last 2. I'm glad u were that strong girl. Not taking crap from abusive men. Ur husband must be a wonderful man as well ❤❤ much love and peace to all of u.
Proud of you!! I’m sorry you experienced that as a child. Thankful that your mom had at least 15 happy years after the horrible abuse. You’re an incredible human!
Peter, they way you articulate this massive amount of information is impressive! Keep up the good work. I am terrified for Sebastian. He lived in a house of horrors. 💚💚💚💚
The statistics for violent abuse, neglect, sexual abuse , and death of a child who is subject to an adult in the home who is not their biological parent is astounding.
After hearing Hyatt’s “putting out” theory, I’m offering a memory from childhood: When I was 10 yrs old, there was a girl, 6, named Teresa in the neighborhood. She had a little dog, TJ, a yappy dog who always wanted to be with us, but we were busy. One day, Teresa was crying. TJ was gone, she said. She said her father had accidentally opened the garage door without realizing TJ was there, and TJ had run off. Dad had to get to work, so he couldn’t go after him. All the neighborhood children spent the day looking for TJ. I remember Teresa crying a lot, but I distinctly remember her mother was sobbing uncontrollably. I’d never seen an adult cry before….and she was sobbing nonstop. We never found TJ. Years later, my mother told me Teresa’s father had hated the dog and after the kids went to bed, drove TJ to the woods and left him. And Teresa’s mom knew it, and had been totally devastated at what he did. Anyway, when was the last time anyone actually saw Sebastian? Are authorities checking neighborhood cameras for the whole weekend since Sebastian left school on Friday?
Apart from you work on Madeline McCann I think this is the most emphatic I have heard you be about what happened to a child. Loved listening to your analysis. Thank you.
I originally thought she kicked him out. It broke me so I talked myself out of it. My mom used to kick me out constantly and it started at 12 yrs old. I don’t know how you treat an autistic child with such cruelty. I really hope LE has checked the area for the registered SA offenders. I’m so scared for him.
Maybe step dad took him to his trailer no one knew about until recently. This trailer was alleged by someone in comments stating it was across state lines but that they never mentioned it to police. I obviously don't know anything about it, other than, if it's true, the place needs a raid and serious searching through out!
" I don't want my child around someone who has anger problems." That's exactly what I've said about my child's friend's stepdad. Now I'm having my child limit time with that friend as well. The friend's angry, harsh parents are causing him to be constantly disregulated due to the harsh punishments they meet out.
It’s interesting that Chris practically screams his good guy theory from the rooftops and yet not one of his 4 ex-wives has spoken out publicly on his behalf.
He said he has a god relationship with all ex-wives except #4. If someone made allegations about my ex-husband I would be telling everyone that he may not have been a great husband but he wasn’t abusive or capable of hurting a child. To me, their silence speaks volumes. They are probably still afraid to speak against him.
My grandfather always said "a man who toots his own horn does so because no one else will do it for them." This seems fitting in this situation. CP claiming to be such a a good guy and so honest it's because he's neither and wishes maybe he was or he is overcompensating for his shortcomings not realizing how it appears to the world. But then again if he was truly concerned for this child none of this would even be brought up by either side. He is for sure an "appearances matter" type and one who cares what people think about him & very insecure. I bet he is insanely jealous and possessive too! Ooh so gross. He reeks of insecurity! Poor Sebastian. I feel so for his dad too. He ha all the traits stepdad wishes he had. All my opinion o course...
I've been learning from you, Pat Brown & Deception Detective, but it was very hard to be objective here. In my time, I have encountered many Chris types. Thank you for caring about Sabastian, his mother certainly does not. 💔😭
During the very first interview with Sebastian’s mother and stepfather, almost immediately he said he runs a strict household. That made me wince. Your autistic stepson has gone missing from your house and you feel it’s necessary to stress that you have strict rules for this boy to live with. Not a good first impression. I’m worried.
Praying for Sebastian Rogers and all he endured at the hands of two monsters who emotionally and physically abused this poor child he didn’t deserve any of this but they deserve what is coming to them! Lord keep unraveling the wickeds tounges. I cry everyday I’m completely devestated for this poor baby! 💚💚💚🙏🏻😭 Justice for Sebastian Rogers.
I left a DV marriage, we were both military and he said he owned me which was scary, and demanded respect by showing me none. I could not bring my son up in the environment. x
I heard the interview you are speaking of. I'm not defending Mom or Step Dad, however when she was speaking of him taking trash out- it was not that morning he went missing. The Father has said he would never leave without his shoes on because of stepping in fire ants one time. The Mother was stating that at times at her home- he would go out in sock feet to take garbage out. But that wasn't speaking of that morning. She still states she woke up- went to get him up and he wasn't there. The step dad still gives me bad vibes. It was good to hear the clear up that he had been working out of town since beginning of Feb and didn't return until he got call Sebastian was missing. People had been wondering as to that. Thank you for great analysis. Praying Sebastian is soon found- safe.
He hasn’t been seen anywhere since, not on any cameras, etc.. Anyone that’s going to allow someone to whip their kid with a belt obviously agrees on violence as a means of control. She could’ve been stressed out from this guy, arguing on the phone, and Sebastian wouldn’t stay in bed or whatever and something happened. In the picture of him with the optimism shirt on, look at his throat, it looks like a bruise, it’s not in other pictures. I’m a little surprised at bio dad too for not being really alarmed by what CP is saying. I hope they arrest him for openly admitting he used a belt on the kid
I’m surprised that people like him are allowed anywhere near vulnerable children. Especially with his history. I hope there will be a law forbidding people who have history with CPS/convictions of assault to get anywhere near children and women.
Stepdad : "'Nothing that is being assumed right now is actually true about that video,' he told Chronicles of Olivia. 'Everybody is trying to assume is a flashlight, I hate to say this it's not as much as we would love it to be one it's not.' " So many red flags in there, least of all how does he know what people assume is not the truth ?....unless he himself already knows that truth maybe
I'm only a couple minutes in and Yes...."You ask yourself...Why would anyone be silent when their child is missing"? I'm glad you are covering this case Peter. Thank you. I have liked and subscribed!
I find interesting that she emphasized the garbage chore meanwhile the police is searching the landfill. Apparently the dumpster was heavier than usual according to the garbage collectors
I have a son and the minute I saw a guy being abusive to him that would be it because I love our son more than anybody on this earth and I'm not going to let him be abused by anyone.
Thanks for looking at this Peter, I really feel for this kid. I just can't see how this mother isn't getting in everyone's faces to tell them about what her son is like. I would need sedatives because even when I am worried about pets, I can't stop worrying about where the are and if they're suffering, with my kids it would be 1,000 worse!
Btw, I don't know if you'd heard that alcohol is supposedly a problem with the Mom, and she also gets extremely violent under the influence. The real Father finally opened up and it was a lot! She's ex-military and he said she easily could take him down and would use her martial arts training under the influence. Very scary for Sebastian!
Seth is a pretty big old boy? Was this when they were a lot younger? Is Seth that weak? Was she Special Forces or did she have police training while in the military? My husband was in the military for years. The women who I knew, that were in the service, weren't as mealy mouthed and passive as Katie appears to be. Then again, women who are literally bonkers, can get violent and be strong.
As soon as i heard the mom say sebastian (she actually didn't use his name, another red flag) walked through the door my alarms bells started ringing in my head anyway
The story changed after the first interview. She said how he was such a good boy. He listened and minded so well. He was always smiling and happy. She said this in a small quiet voice while looking down. I would expect any mother to be overcome with worry and trying to hold back some tears to speak. He interrupts her. He also says he's a good kid. He minds, he has no internet access, his phone allows calls only. More and more interviews, and Chris talks about the child getting into trouble at school. Etc. Then the belt is revealed. I think Peter is right. Step dad said, " oh he doesn't want to go to bed,? See how he likes sleeping outside." She listened because she is abused. I think he's lost. He got afraid and looked for a place to hide. His mom says he's afraid of bugs. Maybe he got in a vehicle. Or an empty trash can. They know they put him out to punish him.
@@ang570I think she is both, because I’ve seen it happen with my own eyes, and my partner lived in that type of situation. Their mother completely changed when she married the step dad, she was being controlled, and the need to be perfect for her husband caused her to abuse her own children to please him, but also to feel her own sense of power which had been stripped from her by her husband. It *trickles down* so to speak.
@@ang570I think two horrible monsters got together in Chris and Katie, together they empowered each other, ultimately doing something terrible to Sebastian, leading him to no longer be alive.😢😢😢
Locked out! Hadn't thought of that!! This is sooo heartbreaking! My heart aches for Sebastian. God Almighty, let his whereabouts be made known, in the name of Jesus!
They checked the landfill in KY where dumpsters (commercial/construction) are taken from the area. The school would also have cameras all over and lights - something their neighborhood doesn’t have because *socialism* or something I guess, and now look where we are. I believe they did a better, more involved job at hiding their actions.
@@LoveLunaPearll the school does have cameras everywhere. Law enforcement has the footage. The neighborhood not having cameras has nothing to do with socialism but people like their personal freedom. Neighborhood surveillance is just not something any neighborhood has in the area. That’s up to the individual home owners. Plenty of people have Ring cameras. I’m sure there’s footage that hasn’t been released.
@@joekeller5937 I wasn’t referring to cameras. I was referring to street lights. Their upscale neighborhood has no street lights. It’s pitch black. That’s a security hazard, which is why communities have street lights. It’s a lot easier to commit crimes when there aren’t any lights illuminating the neighborhood, I’m surprised this doesn’t make their homeowner’s insurance higher, since there is more risk of crime under the veil of darkness and insurers love any excuse to jack up a rate.
Chris Proudfoot is an extreme control freak. This has become more disturbing over time. Even when he's not home, it appears he has total control over the household and his wife. It scares me that maybe he couldn't stomach Sebastian going to live with his bio-dad. God, I pray that child is still alive!
As someone who has only been in abusive relationships, I can now spot an abuser within seconds. Step father is definitely someone who is controlling and abusive.
It has been stated in interviews that the Dad will gain custody of Sebastian in the Summer. Usually, child support is needed anytime a child goes from one parent's home to the other. Money payout can be taxing on the household expenditures. Most likely, Katie and stepdad, Chris, have been receiving child support from Sebastian's Dad, which would add to the spendable money for their household. Money can sometimes be a culprit.
I am a mum to 2 autistic teens. I’m on the spectrum myself. We need to remind ourselves that autistic individuals can be very difficult to deal with day after day on your own… Even those like Sebastian are exhausting whilst simultaneously they are endearing just like he is, depicted to us only in cute photos and stories of complicated behavioural patterns shaded in their retelling for us. Autistic individuals can be exhausting and frustrating. Remembering and considering this allows us to consider alternate possibilities for why Sebastian might leave the house without his shoes and why mum might be showing up wound up tight , refusing eye contact and a mixture of angry and emotional. I don’t think mum emotionally regulates well and what we are seeing is emotional containment or self-stifling rather than regulation. So add frustrating autistic teen behaviour, to exhausted mum, in a home with a step parent that’s dominant and perhaps thinks he’s got the answers to help Sebastian grow out of his autistic behaviours?? She’s not in control of anyone, which must be yet another overwhelming aspect of day to day life that might lead her to try things that weren’t in Sebastian’s best interest. Guilt is hurting her whether she’s ultimately caused his disappearance or not
I just wanted to add, from my perspective. Insecure people often take the behaviors of autistic people very personally. They imagine the autistic is trying to undermine insult and ignore them. It's a nightmare. So I can imagine how that guy acted. I'm autistic as well...
Totally agree with you- I felt like murdering my gorg daughter with autism at times omg!! But we are v open and I’d tell her I was upset & why….I love her like crazy but it’s no easy ride!
Ones again, you did an amazing analysis. I am in awe. Thank you so much for taking your time doing this. Many respectful greetings from Denmark, Scandinavia ( The cold North)
I have an autistic great grandson. He is 7 and perfect as far as I’m concerned. He is not hit…..ever. He perceives things differently. He was reading long before he began school. He is computer literate & creative. There are some challenges but they come from others. I pray this child comes back to HIS FATHER safely. The fact he was hit period is reason to suspect the stepfather.
You are spot on. God continue to grant the wise with more and more knowledge and law enforcement to bring Sebastian Rogers home that’s all I ask for ever for that innocent child to be safe!
Why is she with him on his job site? If that’s not a lie! You would have to blow me up to leave my house if I had a child missing? What if he comes back? IF……
Don't buy it,no man could scare me enough to let him control me or alow him to hurt my child, look how his forth Wife fought for her baby from him,he's a divil
Awesome analysis! As a step parent to an autistic daughter who once ran away, due to the anxiety of us moving to a new home. I can still recall the feeling of utter desperation, naseau, that evening. Luckily, she had gone to our previous address where my sister lived in still. Autistic children crave stability, routine, structure. We called le immediately, although they seemed clueless as to autism. Hopefully le is better trained than in 2015!
A child hits a child and we call it aggression A child hits an adult and we call it hostility An adult hits an adult and we call it assault/battery An adult hits a child and we call it discipline ~ Haim Gaett 5 August 1922 ~ 4 November 1973
Mum says she fell asleep on the sofa in the evening. Maybe he was left outside as punishment and he couldn’t get back in the house, so decided to walk somewhere?
This story is so heartbreaking to me. My son has severe autism, hes 8 but he's like a 2 year old in the way he thinks. He would be absolutely lost outside on his own. I wouldn't rest till I found him
From the step father's speech it sounds like Sebastián finally stood up for himself ... step dad would have got him to leave or go away or make him go away. Mother seems to think the punishment was harsh but that Sebastián asked for it, deliberately standing up for himself, leading to being put outside.
Many of the points of analysis here line up with the Madeleine McCann case, the interviews from the parents line up almost exactly. Thanking the public, mentioning themselves, no mention or little mention of the missing child etc. You could almost play the interviews over each other and hear the same words.
agreed about step dad displaying classic abuser characteristics. Sad, because the boy was finally old enough to choose to go live with his biological dad (step dad probably hated that).
@@007nadineL the boy may have been an outlet for his aggression and he may resent being “undermined.” He also may like to think of himself as the “best” parent and a solution to the boy’s “temper tantrums.” Why don’t people that abuse children just let them go to better homes? It doesn’t make logical sense.
The stepfather is almost funny the way he side-watches the mother in the first interview. I got the impression he would have hit the ceiling if she said something out of his pressured control.
@@RueCardinal I am not saying it is. I am saying he is so extremely aggressive that he is like a coiled watch-spring, ready to blow up at the least little thing. Calling him a funny little man is accurate. This whole case is evidence that the situation should not be laughed at. I'm not trying to make light of the situation at all.
I noticed the side eying, too. And he does a slight nod, like, “that’s right, say the thing we talked about on the phone for 2 and a half hours, good girl”. It’s grotesque.
He also pointed out he was abused as a child.a lot of victims grow up to abuse as well. He may not of unalived him but, there’s a high probability there
Sebastian biological dad said he's never been known to leave the house by himself. His autism dictates that he has a set routine and likes to have control over his personal effects etc.. He also would never go outside without shoes yet he was barefoot when he went missing. His dad says he himself feels things don't add up Also the dogs brought in to track scents found no scent whatsoever if Sebastian outside the home which is also highly unusual. To me that would suggest he was possibly carried from the home and transported by vehicle??? Way to many red flags and something about the stepdad creeps me out. Namely his statement on numerous occasions in interviews of "trust me". Yeah I definitely question the stepdads involvement. Mom and dad have apparently had poligraph but haven't heard mention of stepdad doing the same as yet.
@@deannalassiter2088 she asked him when she had them on her programme if she arranged one would he take it and he said yes. He was cornered and couldn't refuse mind you.
I can’t even imagine how these people feel about their son. I have an autistic daughter. She’s 49 and I am 67. She still lives with me and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Thank you.

So many cases lately where the bio parent puts a partner before their own child.

Not a dang thing, I bet.

My first thoughts too. I knew then one or both had killed him.
He could’ve run away from or been locked out by the stepdad and has died out there
He was upset because stepdad was coming home. I would need the alibi on where CP was on the evening/night of his disappearance and the kids/people that Sebastian ever talked to, if any.

she admitted to yelling at Sebastian thru the wall that night around 10 pm. She described it and it sounded so cold.
I wholeheartedly agree with this observation. It was the stress of his home that was causing the issue.
that sounds like straight up abuse!!! he regressed from trauma. I don't think he's alive either. you have incredibly insight
S ABUSE??????
I agree….absolutely heartbreaking
Exactly
I think the step father’s dismissive laughter at the notion that this disabled boy could pose any problem or challenge for his hubris and masculinity….reveals that he was combative and abusive and at odds with Sebastian because he felt insecure about himself
Right. That stepfather is a "real man." Sickening.

You will never live in peace for allowing that man to do eny thing to your child, you might think you will but you won't
My son is 8 & autistic, it broke my heart to hear that this step dad used the belt on Sebastian. Then Chris saying he’d throw away or get rid of anything Sebastian didn’t take “proper care of….like his toys/pet💔
Belts and autism. Not a good combination. This doesn't seem great.

Yes! It’s a grim thought. And, I like what you state about the photos were intended as proof of life receipts.
Unbelievably strong, yes.
Same here.
That’s also shame. If they hear about his abuse/wrong doings then they think about what they allowed and didn’t stop.
My mother blamed me for making my stepdad so angry that he has to beat me. Never said a bad word to his face about it, but I, at 7 years of age was to blame for his anger outbursts. It really is mad.
Same here but the abuser was my "mother".
Guy been married 5 times , oh boy something wrong here.
I want to know how long these two have been married for.
he's likely secretly lgbtq, too ashamed to come out, self loathing
That’s a huge flag. I think the step dad found a perfect submissive in this woman and he is standing by her, and I believe she knows what happened. It’s possible that he drove back from Memphis and helped his lover and then back to the job. This sort of leverage on her could be irresistible to him. 5 times at bat, he’s looking for or trying to create the perfect wife- he may have found it and is trying to keep it. 5 women willing to marry him, he has to have charisma regardless what you think you see in the interviews.
He is a Devil man shame on his parents, they probably are the same
My brother is married to his 4th wife.
When the reporter was asking them if there's anything they would say to sebastian, one of the things the mom said was "you're not in trouble"..... 😒
It would suggest that even they think he has gone because he was scared of going back into the house after being shut out for being in trouble.
@@chellesama8256 why would they say that though? When has it ever been presented that he did something that he’d be in trouble for? The fact mom said that is a red flag in my opinion? Why would the mother allow her son to be whipped with a belt for minor incidents? Why would a mother allow physical & emotional abuse to their special needs child? I believe the mother & stepdad are both abusive!
Because she is as bad as step dad.. stepdad could of dropped child off on way back to work, in tree area at night before..
Fear .. would be my guess.

Why would anyone be silent when your child is missing??! Most parents would be shouting, desperate to be heard!
If they're party to it. They know what happened and don't want help
Perfectly said. His methods are NOT for a spectrum child.
I’m a Autism mother and when his step father said Sebastian lied to CPS, I knew that has to be wrong. I’ve never known them to lie.
I agree with you
Me neither. I am not a specialist, but I work with children being on the spectrum. Each of them is unique, but usually they are very straightforward and truthful. (When they have the ability to speak)
100% agree. Honest as all get out. Look at Abbey, she tells her mom she is fat. If it pops in their head they say it.
My eyes are still directly on that Mama
Excellent point.
This is a great point and comment!
Thank you for this. Wow. 😥

Peters understanding of words and how we use them is simply outstanding
If stepdad is really big on respect, that concerns me, as 15 year olds are not particularly known for showing much respect for their parents.
No step monster is really big on big in control. Step Monster was probably abused himself, but it's on him to get help for that at age 18 or thereafter, so that he doesn't repeat generational abuse.
hes the stepdad not his parent
Especially autistic teenagers and with my son it’s not because he’s rude or acting like your average teenager it’s because my son doesn’t understand social cues
What's even weirder is it still is not clear after all this time if the stepdad was HOME THE NIGHT or NOT HOME.
@camdenbrantley That's easily determined. I'm sure police have interviewed his co-workers. And, have gotten cellphone data, and car data.
I noticed that too🌺
Yes, I caught that also
@@woodfairy7051why one of three?
Amen
Absolutely no self awareness.
He's a brute and we couldn't even see his face.
A coward and a bully!
In your last discussion on this topic, when the step father used the word "flooded" it immediately seemed an odd word choice, almost an imbedded confession. And now to hear you thoughts the lost boy might be in water, it rings out even more.
I also feel strongly that he is in the water. 😢😢😢
Yes, Deception Detective calls that "leakage"
Also, it is not NORMAL for CPS to be involved with a family....especially not normal to be involved in two states. And in TN, he mentioned that when the CPS worker came to the house, he already knew the person. So they have been called more than once.
Looks like maybe he was able to fool/charm the CPS worker. My Niece's ex was like that. He could fool the social workers into thinking he was the victim and great parent.
To add to this, often times there’s zero communication between the states. They often have no idea about the history of the involved individuals.

Have you watched the Nina Gomez interview on Trev Time?
When mother was asked what she would like to say to her son, she said ‘you’re not in trouble’ ..as if he would be safe once he got home. Very sad .
Very odd choice of words. I agree! Most moms would say we love you.

I agree 1,000% with every part of this analysis, but why did the dogs not detect Sebastien’s scent beyond the yard?
I'm wondering if it's possible that mom or stepdad drove Sebastian to some remote location and just had him get out of the vehicle and then took off:(
I’m thinking the garbage bin. The garbage men said it was really heavy that day and hard to lift
Maybe step dad took him to his trailer no one knew about until recently. This trailer was alleged by someone in comments stating it was across state lines but that they never mentioned it to police.
During the very first interview with Sebastian’s mother and stepfather, almost immediately he said he runs a strict household.

Thank you for pointing out the personality traits of an abuser who bullies women and children in this man.
I left a DV marriage, we were both military and he said he owned me which was scary, and demanded respect by showing me none. I could not bring my son up in the environment. x
Thank you Lord you made it out.
He took the trash out the evening before. Not in the morning. The step dad told a couple of lies about his work too. The whole story is odd
Especially with a special needs child 😢
Stepdad : "'Nothing that is being assumed right now is actually true about that video,' he told Chronicles of Olivia.
'Everybody is trying to assume is a flashlight, I hate to say this it's not as much as we would love it to be one it's not.' "

That’s not a good sign the police are search the landfill. The poor kid!!
I wondered if she stressed taking out garbage the night before as a reason for the dog hitting on their trash.
@@Sunset553yes i agree they should go back again to landfill its weird that the garbage collectors noticed it was heavier than usual
Exactly
1000%!!!
“That boy” …. Leticia stouch did the same thing in interviews. I don’t think I’ve ever heard my mother refer to me as “that boy” in any context.
See how he likes sleeping outside."
She listened because she is abused. I think he's lost. He got afraid and looked for a place to hide. His mom says he's afraid of bugs.
Maybe he got in a vehicle.
Or an empty trash can.
They know they put him out to punish him.
What if Chris drove back in that time period, found Sebastian (possibly didn't even tell mom), and did something to him?
I disagree that KP is abused. I think she's an abuser as well.

If he was locked out of the house, I’d think the dogs would’ve tracked him better.
Have they checked the landfill for the school dumpsters?
Summer's case was heartbreaking. We are coming up on her missing for 4 years.
Jesus has it been that long already?
Guilt is hurting her whether she’s ultimately caused his disappearance or not
Interesting points I'm glad you shared. 👍
I just wanted to add, from my perspective. Insecure people often take the behaviors of autistic people very personally. They imagine the autistic is trying to undermine insult and ignore them. It's a nightmare. So I can imagine how that guy acted. I'm autistic as well...
