I saw the clip AJ did not push Carly down those stairs. he could've lied to Courtney but he actually told the truth something Carson didn't wanna hear with blaming people all the time.
He did he grabbed Carly and she tried to pull away and he pushed her a little bit so she fell down the stairs so yes it is AJ’s fault and partially Carly’s as well.
@tana 4tune Your point being? The question was whatever he was intended or not for her to be hurt, not if he was responsible or not. There is a vast difference between being responsible for something that happened and having intention for it to happen.

AJ ran up ahead of her trying to get away from her. She was like a bull in a china shop for both pregnancies and took unnecessary risks both times.
AJ didn't touch her? He grabbed her wrist that's touching the last I checked. Yeah Carly shouldn't have thrown the ring in his face but he shouldn't have grabbed her wrist which cause her to pull her arm back and fall.
AJ conveniently leaves out the part about him grabbing Carly's wrist, though, admittedly, Carly falling was "technically" an accident
