I bought a 2021 325C package from Tractor Bobs last year. It is a work horse and I’m pleased with the performance. We only have 20acres and have 110 hours on it. I pulled a sled for my kids with it during that snow storm we had in OK this winter and moved more trees and large rocks than I ever thought I would in the first year. I love the cab when going through brush and seeing the hornets not able to get me. I have a few more attachments I need to get.
Bought a 2020 424 loaded with all I needed and was very satisfied with everything on it, especially its smooth power control. The only thing I don’t like about it and will change it soon is the small “lawnmower” fuel filter. How ridiculous. Anyhow I love the rig and thinking about getting another in the future. Thanks for the great video.
I’ve owned a couple different Kubotas over the years (trading in only to upgrade size) Id probably go with Yanmar vs JD ….not sure of where my closest Yanmar dealer is but my Kubota dealer is only about 15 miles from me! I don’t think Yanmar is much better than JD but I do think your paying for the JD name! Kubota is getting close to paying for orange also! If I ever upgrade again I’d probably search out different brands even tho I do like Kubota!
Interesting video Bob. Im a J.d.3025e owner. I gotta great trade in when i bought about 14 months ago. I definitely don't bleed green but i do like my little Deere. The kubota l traded in was a lot more tractor than i bought. Your Yanmar yt324 and yt 424 i believe is about equivalent to my 3025e. You also have a lot more upgrades than the 3 E series. I'm gonna have to go check your product out. So far I like what i see. Several years ago I had a 650 J.D. 4x4 tractor with a 2 cylinder yanmar engine. I really like these engines. Take care, and hope to see you soon.
llRU5TYNUT5ll I bought a 324 last year, same as the 424 except smaller rear tires, and I’m very pleased with it. I don’t know how it compares with the 3025e tho as I didn’t “test drive” one of those. Good luck with your decision.
Owned a 4320 cab for 9 years, and the NX6010 for 2 years. Even thought the JD was perfect I feel the pricing is getting very high. I priced the yanmar 359c and its about $21000 over the RK55 with way less options. My next purchase will between the NX6010 and RK55 but I have many questions for rural king in order to feel safe about the purchase.
Have an sa221 yanmar love it. Now my brother in law and nephew each have one of their own. Traded my lx4900 yanmar in on a yt359 this year. I got all but 500 dollars of my actual purchase price from 4 years ago. They're bullet proof and I have a great dealer. 10 year warranty. Not the Mahindra gimmick warranty either. They might not have all the gizmos of rk but it's not a tym sublet tractor. Yanmars tranny is phenomenal!
@@jeffschaefer4579 Hello Jeff, the transmission is very interesting. I tried to find videos of how well it works under load and shifting but have not really seen anyone talk about it. I have been busy trying work on all the flood damage and have yet to get my the dealer. Thank you for the information on the tractor.
Hook hitch to hitch same hp john deere with yanmar with very experienced farmers see who drags who. What does each Tractor weigh? Do the heavy hay bale test with both. But looks like yanmar is built heavier. The loader for sure.
I looked at this to see a comparison to to make some decisions but it looks like it's not a fair comparison because one tractor looks like it's got valise in the tires and the other one doesn't and one look like it was in 4-wheel drive
@@donaldstrishock3923 I already have a tractor. Thank you very much. You are free to buy whatever you want from whoever you want. Poor choices have consequences. He has given a unfair evaluation. The E series is john deeres value series. It's not a fair comparison. I own a yanmar BTW.
Seems like Deere is losing their position in the market. I personally wouldn’t buy a new Deere. If & when y’all get a chance. It would be nice to see a comparable Kubota.
His deep voice and inquisitive nature makes the YT video sound like a porn interview. Plus the two young guys competing on the tractors seemed perfect. I guess the bigger question is do you go Asian or American (tractorwise). I watched till the end waiting for some Behind the Scenes -BTS and out-takes no such luck... 😂
Agree, neither is entirely American. But that's compact tractors for you. However, today's Yanmar assembled in Adairsville, GA is arguably more American than yesterday's JD made in Japan.
Inexpensive because they use a lot of industry standard equipment on their tractors. Plus there manufacturing facility is in Georgia so getting parts directly from the manufacturer isn’t an issue. Often we get filters and other things from o’reilys when customers need extremely fast turn around and we are running low on parts. We can pretty much find most parts locally from other local tractor and auto stores if needed. 👍🏻 I hope this answers your question
I believe Yanmar actually manufactures John Deere tractors. Atleast they did in the 90's. If the frame is black, it's a yanmar. If it's green, it's a John Deere Only what I heard tho. Don't write that in stone
youre right and they used to build the whole tractor line now they just do the engines in the tractors up to 75hp. Yanmar tractors are designed completely nay yanmar so generally we have better fuel economy and more torque.

Yanmar 424 is a work horse, make sure you buy a tooth bar for it, makes a huge difference on digging Capabilities.
Operator makes the difference.

There is another fuel filter under the dash that you cannot see.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely check it out.
make sure next time you do this test find someone that actualy knows how to run one
Yanmar is a very nice tractor.
can you curl and lift at same time?
Yes you can. And the all new Solis has a self leveling bucket, It’s 50hp and is only a couple thousand more than the 235.
Does Yanmar have hydrostatic trans?
John Deere doesn't honor there warranty, always user abuse when it was only cutting grass
Good information to know! Thanks for sharing.

Dean Barr what are your thoughts on the 424 after looking at it? I’m deciding between the 424 on 3025E.

PUt some weight in the rear wheels, other wise the front loader is useless
Go Yanmar

This may not have been scientific. But it sure was amusing!! We want more crackhead Olympics!!!!
Good video but i think air pressure was low on deere
One race recommendation.. who wins a "slow" race?

Wow. What are the 3 of you on? Love to see that drug test result, or better yet of the guy that does the hiring.
Oh shaddap
I wouldn't buy a tractor from tractor Bob.
WHY is that because you don't have the money? Better start saving; nothing is free.

YANMAR FOR THE WIN !!!!

Anyone looking to buy a deere, look into the right to fix. Deere is running a monopoly with there software on equipment.
That's only on the large equipment.

Just FYI, the Yanmar is built entirely by Yanmar, while the Deere has a Yanmar engine and few other Yanmar bits. So neither are really "American".
Only thing American about that deere is where it was assembled
Agree, neither is entirely American. But that's compact tractors for you. However, today's Yanmar assembled in Adairsville, GA is arguably more American than yesterday's JD made in Japan.
Parts are the key. How easy and inexpensive are Yanmar parts?

Compare a JD650 and a yanmar YM2000... They're identical, except for paint. Yanmar made all of JD's small tractors, up to 40hp range, for decades.
Driver faults
We used to call this UA-cam Poop. Not serious.
Guy with dreads needs more IQ or less pot.
Why would you compare speeds on a tractor? I'm not buying a tractor for its 0-60 time.
Everybody likes to Go Fast. Fast = more POWER.
If you ain't first, you're last!

Any Deere under 40 hp is made by Yanmar!!!
Andrew Jones nope.
