I love the atmosphere on this one, it sounds so aggressive...yet reflective. Very fitting for a death metal cover of Tool.

I think i really like about your covers, is the high amount of individuality you add to them. You dont try to stick close to the original which makes these covers pretty interesting^^

This also reflects perfectly my opinion. If a cover just sounds like the original song, where's the point of the cover?
As a big fan of tool myself, I have seen some covers of tool already and came to the personal conclusion that its just impossible to perform a good cover, with good I mean something I approve of, something which does not seem somehow incomplete and pale due to the sheer intensity and overwhelming personality of the original song. But this opinion was totally shattered AS I first heard this one, because it just hit me in the face with its grandiosity:
I really like the fact that in the one hand you managed to take this song and... I would say absorb it so you could take its identity and take a interpret it in a new way whilst on the other hand grabbing and claiming it as your own.
As an example for this succesful adaption I would use the vocals of this song. The absolutely stunning vocals of Maynard are one, maybe the most important reason of all, why for me tool covers tend to be stale and unfufilling. His style as a vocalist is very special, full of emotion and sometimes only faintest indications, if I am to sum it up this quickly for this moment. For this is so I consider it, proven by many vocalists who failed, as impossible to perform a satisfying cover of his vocals.
As with the rest of the music you didn't try to copy every single flickering of the sound, but instead you played it. You played, and sung, to close up with that example, the song as you would. This fact solely is stunning to realise, lat alone that it really sounds (I have written a whole comment without the word "fuck" in it, which is impossible, so here it comes) FUCKING AMAZING.
And for that I want to thank you and wish you a great future for I also love your studio records. In that mentality:
Keep in making music, keep on evolving as musicians as you do as persons, keep in bring yourself.
In conclusion: I like the way you make music, I like the way you do covers, I like especially this one for you took a tool song and played a grorr song. I apologise for I stole great amounts of time from anyone who die read this and hope you all understood what I was failing at trying to say.
And maybe, Grorr, one day I will get an opportunity to hear you live. Looking forward to do so I surely am!

Your covers are awesome man. I wish I knew what kind of equipment you were using. Do you take any kind of requests by any chance? Would love for you to do some Pantera and some heavier shit from KoRn, Flymore, Flaw, or even Disturbed. I bet you could do a superior version of "Love and Meth" by KoRn, haha.
but in any case, I did subscribe. Look forward to more of your stuff, man.
