The End, Part 4 - Jesus’ Second Coming, Aug. 23, 2020
Matthew 24:27-31 (NIV2011)
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
3 Observations Regarding Jesus’ Return
Jesus will return immediately after the Tribulation (Matt. 24:29-30)
Jesus will return publicly and visibly (Matt. 24:27, Rev. 1:7)
Believers will return with Jesus (Matt. 25:31, Zech. 14:5)
Matthew 24:21 (NIV2011) …then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again.
Matthew 24:29-30 (NIV2011)

Events Surrounding Jesus’ 2nd Coming
Jews in Jerusalem will flee “to the mountains” for 3½ years (Matt. 24:15-16, Rev. 12:6)
The Antichrist’s allies assemble (Rev. 16:12-16)
Armies attack Jerusalem, and it falls (Zech. 14:2)
Zechariah 14:3-4 (NIV2011)
Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
Events Comprising Jesus’ 2nd Coming
Jesus returns to the Mount of Olives to deliver Jerusalem (Zech. 14:3-4, Acts 1:9-12)
Jesus saves those in Bozrah (Isa. 34:1-7, 63:1-5, Joel 3:19)
Jesus defeats the Antichrist and his allies at Armageddon (Rev. 16:16, 19:19-21)
Jesus binds Satan and reigns on earth for 1000 years (Rev. 20:1-4)
Revelation 20:1-4 (NIV2011)
1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. 4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Me too. He is so on point. I have been feeling the pull, to explore this this knowledge as I get ready and strengthen my faith. So glad I came across him. Nope! He teaches the false Eschatological system known as, "Dispensational Futurism".
He's teaches falsehoods, errors, and lies regarding Bible prophecy.
1). Pre-trib. Rapture;
2). 7-year period of Tribulation;
3). Rise of a FUTURE "Mr. Diabolical" called, Antichrist (in fact, Antichrist is not a single, solitary, individual, but a corporate, religio-political entity that has been with us for over 1,260 YEARS!).
4). That the modern-nation-state that calls itself, "Israel," has a pivotal role to play in Bible prophecy (it most certainly does NOT);
5). That the Millennial reign of Christ and His saints will take place on the earth (it will NOT; it will be in Heaven).
I can prove the errors of all 5 of these main false teachings of the Dispensational Futurist system of Eschatology.

Every day I struggle with impatience at the world and I feel wretched. I've been watching these videos for a few months now and this morning it resonated...get close to Jesus, put our burdens on the Creator, God the Father...I've been th inking that I just can't live in this world system anymore...but, watching these videos and reading all the comments and the hope of Jesus Christ returning to gather up all Christians is what keeps me going. I know there are people suffering so much worse and I'm sorry for them...

Ask Jeff to do a teaching on this. This is proof of a pre trib rapture.in the king James.. The coming of Jesus.Pay attention to the cloud and clouds.Luke chapter 21 verses 27..28.. Cloud.Acts chapter 1..verse..9.. Cloud..then Revelation.. chapter..1.. verse..7.. in the second coming Jesus is coming with the clouds.. This is proof of a pre trib rapture.

The rapture and the second coming are the same event on the same day. There is no time separation between them.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 says "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air."
Both events will happen at the same time.

Don’t wanna be left behind. I’m a Christian and I believe in Christ Jesus, I do have problems as all of us do. I do get overwhelmed by How Great How Big God is, What he can and will do. He is awesome that’s putting it lightly. We haven’t even scratched the surface of His love yet, in heaven we will. Yes God loves us as we are. When we ask him into our hearts everything changes. He shows us how much He loves us. By protecting us, loving us, sending His only son to die on the cross for our sins, so we can live, with Him in heaven. Here too until He comes to take those who are ready and believes And trusts in Him. Also we tell others about him, spreading the gospel. If He didn’t love us he would not have sent his son to die for any of us. I’m not perfect at all, make mistakes but I pray and ask forgiveness, and let him know I really mean it and love him. 1st commandment Love the Lord your God with all your Heart , mind, soul. . Very interesting talk. As I study the Scriptures, it looks to me as though the rapture does not occur before tribulation. However, the faithful will be protected during the tribulation until Christ raises them up in the clouds to be with him

Jesus in Matt 24:4 says: “Take heed that no one deceives you.” And this connected to the question “when?” Many will come in Jesus Name and will deceive many saying the rapture is before tribulations. Do not let anybody to deceive you; the rapture is “after the tribulation of those days”=Matt. 24:29.

You're saying he's wrong, yet he posted scripture proving the truth of God's Word. PreTrib is a lie!
Why have none of the Christian churches ever taught pre- tribulation rapture for 2000 years? Catholics, Presbyterians, Church of Jesus Christ, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Methodists, and now all of a sudden it’s popular. It only became popular because Scofield put it his study Bible after John Nelson Darby invented the theory in the 1840s. Why do special Christians believe only they will be zapped up and other Christians suffer tribulation. All of the Apostles suffered. If anyone in history were to be raptured it would be them. When the 2 movies came out people believed it and became more popular and now more preachers are preaching it. Just shows how vulnerable the people who believe are. Make sure you are with Christ on your death bed because death is eminent. It will really test your faith. Every one of us will die, there is no escape unless Christ returns the final time when you are alive, that’s the reality. Death is the real test of faith, not hoping you are special and will be beamed up.
I had much rather be expecting, and prepared to endure the tribulation of the last days, and then to find I would be removed before that, than to remain unprepared, and find myself in the tribulation, unable to endure to the end.

The take-away Pastor Jeff said is true, Jesus cannot lose, but thats not why the Bible tells us: Keep watch that no one deceives you. It's not about Jesus losing or not. It's about telling people not to lose their footing in their fight against the devil. The devil is not trying to deceive Jesus.

The devil is not trying to steal Jesus, but he's trying to steal more souls, deceive more people, make more people become numb and passive. The MESSAGE should be always: Repent and pray every day.
That should be the end of every sermon.
well, semantics can be used to frame a conversation either way, and Jesus did this often. So, we agree that our fight is not with flesh and blood, but we also believe the battle is not ours but the lord's. both true.

This is THE TRUTH PERSONIFIED. I have never heard this Preaching before and it is everything I have ever believed in. Have just sent it to many as I know it to be SPOT ON.It has come at an awesome time for me as on Saturday The Holy Spirit literally SOUNDED THE ALARM on my phone which was turned off in a gathering of 60 people.so embarrassed I rushed to the back and stayed there. In my ear...I HAVE SOUNDED THE ALARM and dragged my eyes to the bookshelf and the only book title I saw was NARROW EXIT.The very next day the HS CONFIRMED IT THREE TIMES.GET READY DEAR PEOPLE AS THERE IS AN EXCELLERATION OF TIME...LOVE!!!

If He destroyed the earth thru all those calamities, what is left? Why would he destroy innocent animals in the oceans...will there be nature left? To me, that's beautiful and my idea of heaven
God promises He will make a new Heaven and New earth. I love nature 2 and I look forward to a new heaven & new earth where the child will play near the dangerous snake and not get hurt, the bear and lion will not people: perhaps they will eat grass!

you know, i think by that time, the disciples were used to Jesus saying things and them not being able to interpret it. Unless you eat my flesh, tear down this temple and i will rebuild it in 3 days. That's why a good rule of thumb in Bible prophecy is not to positionalize, but rather enjoy and be curious about the things God has said.
The mystery of the Rapture was not revealed to peter or the apostles gathered around Jesus at the time he gave peter a revelation about how he would die. The mystery of the rapture was revealed to the apostle Paul later on years after peter learned how he would die. Now Jesus said his ministry was for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Now we know that after the stoning of Steven that ended the time Israel had to repent and accept their messiah. So since Israel did not repent, we see God shifting the blessing of the messiah to the Gentiles which he raised up Paul to minister to. Perhaps peter thought that since Jesus who is also God shifted to the Gentiles then perhaps it meant that other things Jesus said such has how he would die would also change. Now I don’t fully believe that because Jesus is all knowing and he knew that the Jews would not accept him but that doesn’t stop peter a man who sort of had a reputation of putting his foot in his mouth to believe that just maybe his fate would change when he eventually heard Paul talking about being caught up to meet the lord in the air. Who knows how peter could have rationalized this but the bottom line is, everyone of the apostles believed that his return was imminent and possibly in their lifetime which is why the pre trip Rapture theory is the only one that makes any sense out of their urgency to spread the good news of the messiah.

Last judgement is for everybody, you won’t be beamed up because of special selection. When Jesus returns he returns to earth. He says this , he never says he returns in the clouds takes a few people and then leaves, that’s ludicrous. Any 8 year old could understand that. People have been watching to many rapture movies.

The Bible says that Jesus comes with all of his angels. It does NOT say anything about him coming with humans. Matthew 16:27 says "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels".
As is the case with most end times interpretations, it is through piecing together mentions across scripture that we see a more complete picture of this return and possibilities of the make up of such a host. perhaps consider the reference from the book of Jude for one.

@@FirstRedeemerChurch if that verse was saying that humans were coming back with Jesus at his second coming than that would contradict all the other verses that say he is coming with his angels only. That verse is talking about the angels and not humans. The angels are saints as well. Also, that wouldn't make sense since no humans are in heaven right now, except for Enoch, Elijah, and Moses.

I think the biggest question any Christian can ask is how do I know forshore that Im on the winning side (saved). For We are not saved by works, self effort and trying perserverence, which is where many unbelieving believers mis the mark because they profess they are saved by Grace, yet in their hearts, they are entangled with self righteous works, to blind to see Gods righteousness and unable to decern the truth.
