Flying the brand new Discus 2C FES (Part 1/3)

Gliding in a brand new Discus 2C FES around Wasserkuppe Airfield (EDER) in Germany. Weather wasn't really perfect but there was quite a good cloudstreet which I used for some distance...

18m tips??

They've all been built with 18m tips as far as I know. Few if any delivered with additional 15m tips - the additional 15m tips are very expensive and few standard class comp pilots want a Discus 2 FES - a very expensive way of competing in standard class! My Discus 2C FES was serial number #31 - possibly a couple of people havehad 15m tips since mine was delivered in December 2018.

Do the prop blades produce that whistling sound when they are folded back?
