After nearly 39 years, the NBA has a new all-time scoring king, and his name is LeBron James. In 2011, Bleacher Report posted a list containing the 15 Most Unbreakable Records in League History. One of them was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record. It's really crazy that we've been talking about this being possible since like 2014 and LBJ really did it. Love him or hate him, it’s crazy to think that there are still people out there that don't appreciate LeBron James. We should celebrate once in a lifetime achievement.

@@reggieherod8678 just know whoever breaks it would have to most likely either play longer than LeBron (he's 6th all time) or have a higher career PPG than him (he's 5th all time). The man has played from age 18 and will probably be playing til 40/41, has been the face and go to scorer of each franchise. Healthy pretty much every season. KD, harden and Russ are the next 3 active players on the list of career points and they are 10k+ points behind. And they had stellar scoring careers. The only player active that started scoring high enough and young enough to even come close to LeBron by the end of his career is Luka. MJ played 15 seasons. 5 less thatn lebron(for now). Mj averaged 30.1 pts in his whole career. You can make the math 30pts avg per 5 seasons (82 games per season) = 42k points. MJ would have broken this record if he wanted to break it. But one thing jordan understood was to retire in the win like the greatest. I am pretty sure he still regret playing for the wizards because that is a stain for his great career. I only say this because of the fact the lakers are almost last on the table just for rockets and orlando(both trash) and this man just broke the record and his team lost and has one of the records in the season. It clearly shows he just plays for the numbers and constantly obsessed with bringing all star players to build more and more the team. MJ would have never done that. Kobe and MJ truly loyal to their franchise and played the game with whoever they had available. Greatest career in basketball but not the best player to ever play.

20 seasons later, he is number one in the all-time scoring list.
Among the top in dimes and also great in rebounding.
With his longevity, I'm sure he will reach the 40+k summit. Heck, he might be the only one to do so.
He might show little signs of slowing down, but he will continue to rack up the stats.

And ill get him to sign an empty plastic bag along with some pics, and when I leave, I would put the undies in the plastic bag he signed, then sell the combo for a premium amount, around 37k. Someone would def buy that. And when I take a girl out and she asks what I do, I tell her I do stocks

    1. Stephen Curry breaking Ray Allen's career record most for most made three-point field goals at Madison Square Garden.
    2. LeBron James passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most career points in NBA history.
