    Yep, another extremely educational video I mean I’ve actually been sitting here watching your videos, pretty much straight at night for like the last four or five nights, and I have learned a lot. I deeply appreciate you making these videos and taking the time to teach a lot of people that thought they knew stuff that really didn’t and they’re able to use that in their every day life moving forward.     It is my understanding that doublets are made to also help the color “pop” in a more transparent Opal with a not very bright play of color.

    Thank you for posting theses videos, love binge watching them all and always pick up something new to learn from you. I have two things to add: 1. Artists like yourself sacrifice the ‘beauty’ of their own hands when creating something beautiful, and you dear sir create beautiful stones. 🙂 2. I’ve made opal doublets and triplets before thru my local Gem and Mineral Society and we used Jet as our backstone. Is there any particular reason why you don’t use it?
