I am from the US & not a Democrat or republican (for the record). I have noticed in my decades of voting that the electoral college system has been damaging to the minds of ppl in states that are not considered the most important for candidates to win (the majority of the union). It makes ppl feel their vote won’t matter in the end, & therefore we have way too many people who don’t vote at all! I would prefer that we not only have a better way to make sure there is no fraud on any level in our elections, but also that everyone’s votes are equal under the law. Then there is the district issue (within the states themselves) that needs to be looked at, because that’s always being manipulated too. Our systems are less than perfect, & although I’m not for dismantling things completely, it’s time that “We The People” get a say in everything our government is doing. After all, the point was they were to be our “public servants”, not our leaders! They are not supposed to speak for us, but to do what we tell them to do! Majority has to rule in that situation, because you can never please everyone. It’s impossible. The 2 party system that won’t ever allow other voices in also needs to be changed. This “government” is not supposed to only let just 2 parties rule, yet that’s exactly what we have had since the beginning in 1776! The Dems VS Republicans are 2 wings of the same bird (the 🦅), because they are both pushing globalist agendas that are not in the best interest of “we the people”! Getting people to fight with each other, so while we are distracted they can push through policies that take away our freedoms & liberties! Our rights have been being stripped from us for decades! Anyone who thinks the United states is a democracy is delusional! Wake up people! Divide & Conquer”because it works!
