"I came for the fitness and I stayed for the memes and the conspiracy theories." Love that! Great energy!

I’m from Southeast Louisiana as well and had the hurricane munchies lol. This chick looks amazing, she does need to throw away the scale but I’m a similar age, height and weight and still fear gaining fat , if I go over a certain amount of calories . I ate at 2,000 calories the week of the hurricane, and it freaked me out 😮

I’m 5’6” and she’s at 140? That’s below my goal weight! I’ll be happy to get to 155 at my age (62).

I usually don't lose weight. I just get tinier while staying the same weight.

A question about MAPS KB4A program: Is it progressive from easy to difficult? or only in KB weight? Does it start with basic form and movement with a KB? I mean is it for KB beginners?
I watched Sal's video and read the free materials, but that info isn't available in either. Thanks

I did a reverse diet to get my calories up for a month or so while starting to strength train. I'm not sure whether I should have stayed at my higher calories for longer before starting to try to lose fat. I have reduced calories and am continuing to weight train, and I feel good and I feel tighter. I haven't lost any weight or inches. How long does it take to see changes in scale.
    I'm 5'1 and currently at 133lbs and I'm 45.
I am concerned because I feel uncomfortable weight wise at this weight. I want to be around 120lbs or at least look like 120lbs. Should I just keep going for a month to see where I am at that point, then adjust? Or should I wait for a couple of months? Should I be seeing the scales start to trend down?

The scale messes up so many of us. I can see that this lady is fit.... She should not be CONCERNED AT ALL about her weight

start with resistance training (about an hour) and some light cardio (incline walk or just regular walking) at the end of your workout, maybe start with 15mins then slowly increase it to 30mins. Do that for a few months and notice your body changing. Then switch it up to daily 10k steps walking and regular resistance training.
