      @@technical234 no my friend.. i have 180 many years.. from 10 inches tires to 11 inches!
      It's ok!
      203 has better braking power than 180...

      @technical234 2 місяці тому

      @@Antony--DIY of course it has its larger but the concern its the diameter , it is too big for a 11 inch tire.amyway i had thought of replace the front rotor with a 180mm instead but i think it would be dangerous.

    They do look cool but honestly would have upgraded tyres first, they would give you much bigger stopping improvement than the rotors

    I love the look, the install and no talking in the vid, just straight up right to business . I have a 80/65-6 tire I would like to mimic this exact install, any suggestions?

      I suggest to use 180mm disks. This Is more a test

    …until you have a disc strike. I suggest you avoid leaning into turns. But those rotors are going to put you on the ground

    Hi, but in addition to the adapter you bought on Amazon, you need another one, right? Because with the original one the clamp doesn't arrive

    great update. Just one question: is there no risk of the disc touching the ground when you tilt the scooter into corners?

    • @screwriders
      @screwriders  2 роки тому

      You touch the ground only in you take a pothole

    Single motor mode with 60V 2800W is already fast enough , dual motor need quite a strong brake to stop the whole thing.

      With these discs I have no more fading. Great modularity too

    You probably had to make sure that Brake Caliper was centered unto the Brake Disc to prevent scrapping of Brake Caliper and/or Brake Pas unto Brake Disc.

      Yes in the last part of the video where i keep pressing the lever is for centering the caliper

    Pourquoi vous montez les nouveaux disques a l'envers ? 🤔

    • @screwriders
      @screwriders  2 роки тому

      Because those discs are for MTB that have brakes on the left side

    This is an accident waiting to happen. You will for sure smash the ground with those rotors and damage your scooter and probably end up on the ground. Plus if you suffer a flat tire, you are doomed. Not worth the anxiety of riding and at any moment you are crashing. Not very smart.

    • @screwriders
      @screwriders  2 роки тому

      On smooth roads you won't have any problem. But yes 180mm are a lot safer. This is more an experiment.

    • @mspring6387
      @mspring6387 2 роки тому +1

      Even 180mm is dangerous on a 10.5” or 11” tire. Just not worth the worry.

    Are your Zoom brakes leaking fluid yet ? They will. Both of mine did. Just upgraded to Magura mt5 set. & Shimano rt 86 ice-tech rotors. 160mm

    • @screwriders
      @screwriders  2 роки тому +2

      They leak probably because they use dot oil as stock and it damages the oring. If you use mineral oil you should be safe
