@Under Cover Loner it's all on a scale. Not yes or no. Bernie is not against capitalism or trade. Will 100% socialism work, very likely not. The thing is the systems and places Bernie gives as examples are far away from 100 % socialism. On the flip side 100% capitalism is also bad. If looking at the USA these days, not 100% capitalism but maybe the closest, isn't making this clear, I don't know what will. 100% capitalism is only great for a very small number of people. Bernie's ideas are shared with the majority of the people in the US, they are just too busy labeling it as communism.

Fox News does not really portray it very well, since they apparently consider Venezuela and Denmark as two pieces of the same cake. Socialism in its purest form will never work, but just as Bernie is inspired by the Scandinavian models, it might give your country a little more depth.
Even if this guy never gets to be president, the positive effect that he has had on the american political landscape should not be underestimated. Bernie and his allies give me hope for the future of the USA. Future american presidents will have Bernie Sanders as their role model.

Socialism works OK where implemented well. Actually the best countries in the world to live in, start businesses etc are all countries that are close to Sanders policy. Norway has rated top on loads of international rankings for years, and their right is close to the US left. Same for most of europe. Less money is spent on average per capita on tax than in the US for school, healthcare and other services. Objectively those services are also better with exceptions for the most extremely expensive healthcare and colleges/universities of which these countries also have world leading institutions. At times you are sent to the US if the best treatment is there. The US system has too many milking a service that literally will watch you die unless you pay.

No. We made a decision that what we needed to win the next election was centrist/undecided voters in the swing states. And polling clearly showed that those voters wanted Biden. In truth all Bernie supporters will vote Biden. But many Biden supporters didn't want Bernie. So Biden we hope will bring in many more centrist votes and remove trump.

My step brother broke his arm in San Francisco and didn't have health insurance in America so he flew home to NZ got his arm fixed for free then flew back to the US saving himself thousands of dollars from America's wack healthcare system

@@waitandhope in NZ we have free healthcare. You can go private if you want to, and some people chose to because then the wait can be shorter. But kids can go to the doctor for free, if you have an accident it's covered by something called ACC.
I love our healthcare system here in nz. Even better, none of the candidates in this election, on October 17, want to get rid of it.
