It always funny to see Joey's UA-cam voice xD He flips a switch and is like "hey guys, I'm going to announce this now and very very clear in what I'm saying" XD
Another great video. I love watching all the different types of fish in a store. I enjoyed seeing the Guppy Tank. I was done beautifully with lots of colorful Guppies. And I also love Kuhli Loaches. I had a couple years ago and my ex-mother-in-law wanted one so I got her one. I guess she must have been over feeding or something but that thing got huge, it was as big around as my index finger and half again as long as mine. It was so big she got afraid of it and even after her daughter and I divorced, she would call me to come and her tank maintenance.
Wow, what a place, the hobby has come a long way since I had my aquariums in the early/mid 1980s! Prices per fish too of course, but amazing variety now. Love your enthusiasm Kaity, you really bring out the best in your guests. We try to avoid those well-camouflaged rays hidden in the mud in the Tambopata rainforest here in Peru, the sting is naaaaasty! Keep up the great videos, you have me considering re-entering the hobby one day soon....😁🫢😎
Thank you so much Mike!! I hope the hobby gets to have you back one day 😁 It's the best hobby to have (but I might be biased). And that's so cool about the rays 😮
I used to keep convict cichlids when i was a kid. It looks so cute and beautiful with some orange colour on the female and green on the male. 30 years have passed, I still think convict cichlid is a great fish to keep and I still like it.
Thats awesome you got to come visit Canada! Im in Calgary! I hope you have the time to visit Calgary one day! =) Thanks for the videos and sharing Kaity!
Thank you for watching!! And I had a stopover at Calgary on my way to Nova Scotia! I only got to see the airport though lol (it was pretty cool though)
Wow, that store is so nice and it also has a great variety of suplies and fishes, I would like to have something similar near to my neighborhood. You made this tour fun and interesting again. The jokes also made my day😂. Blessings from Peru and continue like this!
Well, another great video of a few cichlids. I was hoping you would have shown some of the other fish that they had in the store. Like fresh water ones. It's always interesting to see 👀 what they have for sell. It looks like it was a fun time there. ❤
@@Kaityscichlids hi Kaity, today I viewed a vid I won't say who but he put his hand in with Piranhas & added blood to it, needless to say him & the tip of a finger parted ways. Please, can you promise me out of any of the zaney things you try this be not 1 of them?! Lol.
Well that was fun! And their prices looked awesome too. Those Electric Blue Acara are under $12.00 US! I don't think I've seen them for less than that here - when they're available. That was a fun tour, Kaity. Thanks and looking forward tot he next one. 🙂
Yes they were a decent price! Canada was very similar to Australia with their pricing. And thank you so much Ron!! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and I appreciate all the support 😄
I think that store is far from their house. He has to drive at least an hour, I forgot. I don't have any near me either. They're not as common as it seems on UA-cam. Even Joey has to drive a while, he doesn't complain about it but why would anyone I guess.
If you want to turn your peninsula tank into different cichlid tank then better go for South American setup .... South American fish would love the 6foot tank. You can check Cichlidbros video about South American tank they got a very good setup. Tanganican setup can be done in 4-5foot tank.
Which you dont see much in Australia ??? Umm in Sydney we have a fish store in nearly every street of every suburb lol we are the originals of fish keepers !!!
Very impressive content Because it discusses various types of laughing animals, types of fish that ordinary people don't know yet I'm from Indonesian +62
I would say it's like 1/3 of the physical size. It's hard to come close to Tech Den, but in terms of stock, they probably have as many tanks of fish if not more
I am a hobbyist from Asia. I have a question about the different english accents around the world. I find the Canadian english to be easiest to understand, followed by American accent. Then the British and Australian accents are a bit harder to understand. Someone told me that the New Zealand english accent is even harder to grasp. Why some of the accents have "evolved" to become more difficult to understand?
You're just more exposed to American media and movie content, that's why you find north American accents easier to understand. All languages evolve and change, that's why there's many different languages in the world, your language evolved from some ancient common language.
Awesome video Kaity !!! It's always nice for an Old Man to watch two beautiful Girls on a aquarium store tour. 🤙 I dm'd you on Instagram some pics of a friends Tangy Cichlids, it's taken 4 or 5 years for them to get full grown and for their colors to come out in full bloom. I think you'll be surprised
@@Kaityscichlids The Chaitika Comps are probably my favorite of all the African Cichlids. Again, it takes years for their colors to fully come out, but when they do...Wow
I so want a monster fish tank. I must have a 10 footer. Wow, you was hanging with the King and soon to be queen of DIY. Good friends to have Kaity. I hope the US is treating you right and hope you are having an amazing time here. Lottsa love
Thanks for stopping by :)

Thank you David!! Omg that's crazy 😱 I never would have realised they could get that big. Thank you for sharing your Kuhli loach story lol
Joey looks so fantastic next to Kaity. He stands taller or something. What a team
Gippies, shrimp and platys are my cup of pepsi. Fantastic little buggers!!!
Getting peppered with the North American content, I’m mc loving it 😅
Hahaha, that's awesome 🤣 I'm glad to hear!
@@Kaityscichlids 1 fish 2 fish is definitely an OG of the UA-cam fish shop tours, definitely in the archives from way back yonda 🤌

There are some smaller, really beautiful fish stores in Halifax that have a saltwater focus.

I like this video, good audio. Clear video.
If they where mine. 1 would get nano fish. But also shrimp, crabs (sesarma Bidens) and lobster (cpm)
American Cichlids are my fav's. I agree, that convicts are underrated to tbh. And guppies, I want to be the Guppy King of Australia. ;)
Was hoping to see what rainbows they stock there, and if they have our local creek rainbows where Kaity is from.
Another awesome show Kaity, dilly dilly. ;)
