Amazing! Star Trek Continues has the same "fell" as the original series. It's like going back through time and seeing a lost episode. Great stuff. Remarkable job. Thank you.
Omg! Vic is a genius. The ending of star trek continues is the continuation of the Star Trek motion picture movie. Made my a believer that he is William Shatner. I'm very sure that William Shatner is proud of him. There is nothing and I don't care how many movies they make of a new Star Trek movies. Vic has inspired and give us hope for the 1966 series. GOD BLESS VIC.
STC is flipping FANTASTIC! And Vic owns the role of Captain Kirk. Each episode is better than the last. I wish there could have been more than 11 eps. I think I have them memorized by now! Love you, Vic!
This is the closest thing I've seen to the original Star Trek. It makes me feel like the original series is still going on with little being lost. The original series was a master piece of chemistry coming from every angle. The original Star Trek is something that cant be equaled in talent, professionalism, and team work. My hat is off to the staff of the 1966 series.
Victor Gaspar ...I agree ... After getting used to the new kirks higher pitch voice and spock s more oriental look ... I just love it and feel like watching the original with better graphics
Just started watching these Star Trek Continues show and its some of the best stuff I have seen and 10x better than anything any big network has even done, and 100x better than anything they are currently trying to do. I love this STC, and it needs to go on forever..............
I just finished watching that two minutes ago. That was the first of these shows that I have watched. Halfway through the show, I forgot all about comparing it to the original and was completely immersed in the show. They have done an incredible job recreating the feel of the original. I would watch this if it was on TV. It is better than I could ever have imagined.
Yeah it would go down really well on Netflix - I have a suspicion there is some negotiations going on behind the scenes and that is why they produced another full length episode and not a shortened one. CBS is being idiots by not licensing this and making some money off it - as to be frank it's better than the first 4 seasons on DS9 in it's entirety
They finished shooting all eleven episodes. The last three are in post production and will be released this year. After than no more episodes will be made, since they have concluded the series to tie it into The Motion Picture.
He has Kirk down to a science. The way he moves was especially impressive. He knows how to Kirk-walk lol. All it took for me was a few minutes getting used to a new voice. After that, he was Kirk.
I agree his body Movement really sells it - he really does Move like Kirk - he has some of his mannerisms too - but not as extreme. Bones and Spock are none to shabby either with perhaps Bones being a tad more aggressive and less humorous and Spock being a it more passive but both are pretty good. Scotty sounds identical - looks a bit different - but he also has some of James' body language down too like with the hands but he doesn't look much like his dad to me when he's not speaking - much taller for a start. He looks more like his dad did in the motion Picture era, with a change of uniform and a moustache I'd buy it a lot more. Chekov is 'fine' , Sulu is a bit over chirpy and the wrong race of Asian to look right for me - but I can tolerate the change - he's not atrocious Uhura lacks nuance for me - Palmer is kinda spooky in her own way. The only one i'm really not buying is Uhura - so far at least perhaps simply as she's more heavy set and less whimsical than Uhura was. Overall though pretty darn successful.
What we really need is a kickstarter to have all of the original actors cloned, so that in 30 years they can re-do the series in 3d 4k widescreen. :-) Plus they can do a few extra seasons. Skip the animated series (with that horrible background music) LOL
Vic is really doing great work. More fans should be supporting their efforts with subs or CBS should televise it and profit as well. They must have spent a bundle on their sets, as they look as perfect or better than the originals.
That stance Shatner had was so awesome, the weird way he held his arms. It's crazy how close the new Kirk mimicks the old Kirk. It's so subtle but so noticeable to me, and really makes the captain stand out. It makes me think of Travis Fimmel in Vikings too, he does some crazy original things with his face movements that I've never seen anywhere else just like Shatner/Mignogna.
+Hi It's interesting to see him at the end of "Balance of Terror". He is comforting the young woman whose husband has just died. When walking away, he momentarily looks almost defeated and sad. Then he looks around him and a transformation comes over him as he lifts his head, quickens his pace and returns to the herculean task of running a starship. I am always moved by that scene.
g7 Some of my favorite Kirk moments are when he feels the loss of one of his crewmen. The sorrow that Shatner conveys is very convincing. I know there are moments throughout the series where he chews the scenery a bit, but when he is on his game, he is a very fine actor.
This series does enormous tribute to ST-TOS.... Yet also draws from ST-TNG... The scriptwriting keeping faith with the Roddenberry vision - incorporating morality and current social issues, yet folding-it into the 60's style of television drama and historical accuracy. Amazingly accomplished. Vic Mignogna clearly immersed himself in Bill Shatner's acting syle... And Tod Habercorn - though vocally differs from that of Leonard Nimoy, nevertheless captures the esscence of Nimoy's Spock. Of the supporting cast, their good acting carried the stories well... With Chris Doohan doing his father proud. BRAVO!
STC is absolutely magnificent! So well done. The TOS music rounds it out and tugs at the heart.... and attention to detail is truly remarkable. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime. Paramount/CBS.... paying attention?
Too bad the "Star Trek Continues" uploads themselves always have comments disabled. I would've said for one thing I thought "Fairest Of Them All" was excellent.
I feel like Star Trek Continues is the one channel that has comments disabled that really doesn't need it. Usually channels that put out a lot of garbage do that to avoid hate comments. I don't see many people hating STC.
Amen, brother. Funny thing, is that Funko / Super 7 jave made a line of "80's retro" style Star Trek figures. And Kirk actually resembles Vic more than he does Shatner.
I figure Abrams' biggest problem is, he wants the shows to be "for everybody." But you can't do that and make them for dedicated "Star Trek" fans at the same time. You have to give up one for the other.
I don't like the HD-DVD STAR TREK totally ruined the show! I prefer the DVD 5.1 remix is not all that bad they are mixed with some creativity. Also the proper original mono mixes on Laserdisc are so choice.
I have been watching episodes back-to-back and really enjoying them! This series is SO much better than the other ST follow-up series and really does justice to the original series! Thanks lads and well done!
Just recently ran across this series and watched all 11 episodes. Loved how they tied in alot of thingS to TOS. Thanks to Vic and the crew for an awesome series.
This is GREAT! Thanks for uploading this. These fan efforts honor the memory of Leonard Nimoy, et al, from the original series who have passed away. LLAP
A big fan of STC, sadly they have needed to discontinue production. Their final tally will be 11 of the originally planned 14 episodes for their series. Vic "KirK" Mignona (I know I spelled that wrong, sorry Vic!) has done wonderfully with his work.
Agreed. However, as they explained through their Facebook page, their original intent had been to do a set number of episodes intending to bridge the end of the TOS series and the first of the motion pictures. CBS and Paramount however has set certain guidelines for "fan productions" such as STC. Long and short of it, STC feels it necessary to fully support CBS (it is their "ball" and ballgame after all), and as such they could not continue their intended production without breaching those guidelines. CBS did not force STC's decision. They chose to end on a high note rather than causing strife just to finish three more episodes.
I don't want to be to picky - but I would say that if it wasn't acceptable on the original show then it isn't acceptable on the new one - as otherwise you harm immersion by allowing 201* version of "Progressive" instead of 1960's milder and far more sensible flavour.
Agreed. I mean, I don't mind gay characters, but I think they went overboard with the whole Kirk's nephew thing. Quit being SJWs, just shut up and make Trek.
I didn't know what to make of this at first. I fucking love it. Such a great art form. Taking a whole experience and changing everything but not changing a thing.
Let's not underestimate the amount of support this fan series receives from serious actors some of whom are affiliated with the official Star Trek series and spinoffs. Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorne, John DeLancie, Mark Forrest, with support from Lou Ferrigno, Colin Baker, Nicola Bryant... the suits at Paramount and CBS may be controlling policy, but the people on the front lines are part of this labor of love.
Magnificent set. I know you have said that the set is in south Ga. I live in South Ga and if I knew what part of South Ga. The set was in I'd love to tour the set some time when ya ll are down here filming . I've watched Star Trek , like you, since I was a kid.You guys are doing a great job of continuing what was started Keep up the good work. Thomas.
This show is amazing. The set duplication, the lighting, and the movie cameras show the exact same screen quality as the original series. It looks identical. Even the actor playing Kirk has Shatners mannerisms down to a T
STC to me has landed next to TOS, where I grew up with. I just love it, the cast, the vibe, all of it, we need at least three seasons of it. What we don’t need is all the other star trek currently released.
STC , IS AMAZING. !!!. FANTASTIC RE- CREATION GREAT IMAGINATION GOOD ACTING , GOOD ACTION TO CONTINUE WERE STAR TREK LEFT BEHIND FROM THE ORIGINAL TV SERIES . WISH IT WAS ON TV AS A REGULAR TV SERIES .!!!. I HAVE BEEN A FAN SINCE THE ORIGINAL TV SERIES IN 1966. GREAT JOB GUYS.!!!!. LOVE ❤️ IT. !!!!. 🖖🏻🖖🏻🖖🏻👍👍👍❤️🌹🌷🥀😎🇺🇸😎🖖🏻....
I love what they have done in Ticonderoga, AND I love what they have done here as well. Two excellent tributes to the original series, two faithful recreations of the sets as well. I would love to see some collaboration between the two groups down the road to continue with this adventure. I would also like to see CBS itself get involved and give it their actual blessing (hell, maybe even hire some of these guys for real, as advisors and/or for guest roles in their new serieses.). Would be a win win for all. Please keep it going.
I think it would be really neat to see the old cast tour this set and talk about their memories of working on the actual set. Talk about how accurately detailed this set is. Maybe gently coerce them into doing an episode together with the Continues crew. After all the original cast aint gettin' any younger :) But Shatner and Nimoy would probably want too much money anyway.
***** Some of the DS9 cast will be in the next episodes of ST Renegades, though I don't think they will be the DS9 crew, at least not with Terry Farrel since Jadzia got killed by Dukat
WaybackTECH Oh yeah, I heard about that. Imdb.com says she's going to be Jadzia though. I'm not sure how that'll be pulled off though. It could still take place on DS9 somehow. I like that even the actress that originally played O'Brien's little daughter is planned to be in it.
This is amazing.....love this....and the original cast of Star Trek....makes one think...LOL Of course there is no replacing anyone like William Shatner as Captain Kirk....but I also think Vic does a good job doing Captain Kirk....HIGH 5 to you Vic
I wonder if Shatner has seen Vic portray Kirk, and what he thinks? I wish CBS/P could make STC the official successor to TOS and let them have $ to actually produce the last two years of the 5 yr mission!
Just found this and i'll leave this here since all comments seem to be disabled on STC video's on UA-cam, but damn. It's eerie how good Vic portrays Kirk/Shatner. In many shots you can hardly tell any difference and even his voice, emotions, physical stances and facial expressions are spot on. Scotty and Sulu are also done exceptionally well. The pickup of loose threads from TOS (like Kirk dealing with guilt of losing his lost loves) are done in sublime ways and even if not with original actors (and in some cases like Apollo the originals), i always pickup up what and who they're referring to. Too bad it's only 1 season, would have loved to see more.
Oh vic don't stop there. Make a motion picture of a new star trek. You are the best captain Kirk then other put in the star trek movie . You know? Making a star trek movie of you and William Shatner as a parallel universe like in the Nexus.
I just found Star Trek Continues. Unfortunately, the series ended before I even new it existed. Grant Imhara that played Sulu to perfection, passed away July 13, 2020. Such a loss to the world, of such a brilliant mind.
Especially when the original Enterprise disconnected the upper disc from its hull? that was not only awesome? but it was excellent, excellent excellent. I didn't know that the original USS Enterprise could do that in an emergency. Vic! Please! Continue. you are destined to do this. We all have faith in you.
I really am of the mind set that Vic should buy an old sci fi franchise outside of star trek , and bring it back to life. Something has to be out in the past with an orchestra setting Vic would want to play with. Many role playing sci fi settings exist in the past imagine Vic bringing one back to life that he could actually make a profit from and bring back that old classic feel with a moral to each story kinda ending?
Star Trek continues is like a new lost episode. Amazed the son of Scotty never got considered for the Abrams series. The mannerisms of William Shatner and the way he moved and even from behind it looks exactly the same as Kirk should. My only disappointment was the technology underneath the control panels in E05. The circuitry was just old Pentium one and two motherboards. To maintain authenticity just choose little box of Jell-O and redwood. Keep it simple and not try to look advanced. Roddenberry did not have a big budget so he relied on the imagination of the viewers for escapism.
+mrwebber35 I got the same feeling too when I saw the circuitry. It looked too low tech for being in the future, and too high tech for being a show from the 60s. That's the best I can explain it.
***** Same as the control panels, stick with toggle switches Flashing buttons and knobs. One thing that could work anywhere would be a good LCD screen.
6 років тому+1
Chris Doohan in fact did appeared in 2009 Star Trek and Into Darkness. But not as Scotty.
Yes, the Official Set Tour is in Ticonderoga, and the Neutral Zone Studio in Georgia is still used for fan films. There are also some TOS fan film sets in Arkansas called Warp 66, and possibly others.
I hope the Continues crew make appearances at Ticonderoga. Their work is so awesome I would like to meet them also. Especially Bones. The actor that played McCoy is best I have ever seen after Deforest Kelly. Check out those episodes. Also, " Of Gods & Men" A fan movie with Nichelle, Walter & actors from past 60's episodes. Ticonderoga is AWESOME!
I agree that the second McCoy they had was very good. The first McCoy (the fat guy) was easily the worst actor on the show...even worse than the guy from Mythbusters playing Sulu.
CBS needs to see STC. I mean here is a fantastic fan series. Now that Munves is out someone should consider 'Continuing' this fan series by turning it into an official series. It would be Illogical not to. It's amazing what a bunch of fans could do with a limited budget. It's not unlike what TOS experienced with their own limited budget. And to have Chris Doohan reprise his Father's role was icing on the cake. I was also thrilled with their choice of actor for the Romulan Commander from 'The Enterprise Incident'. I mean she was spot on. Wow! This show is a ready-made production. A lot of the sets may still be available. If not, STC has proved that creating the Star Trek universe on a budget is absolutely possible.
Don't hold your breath. There are plenty of other people in Hollywood who can F it up just as well as Jar Jar. They're having problems with that new show... Nothing but bad news so far. Maybe the pilot will turn out better than expected BUT they really should have started 2-3 years back instead of at least the minute on the eve of the ST 50th Anniversary. They shouldn't have announced a premiere date that in retrospect was too ambitious. They should have given themselves at least a year, 18 months, and not six months to get it ready. The pilot that sold Star Trek was made in the middle of 1965. The series aired September the following year... That's after a long planning period that started in 1964!
@@tsc9191 I call it "Star Trek Disco Very" -- I remember Michael "Mary Sue" Burnham and a crewmate jogging through the corridors wearing black Disco T-shirts. Why wear T-shirts of a perverted bubble-gum night club dance craze from two centuries ago?
@Roguezilla : "I just hope [STD] is nothing like Jar Jars universe." No, it's not. It's much worse than that, much worse. "The Great Bird of the Galaxy" Gene Roddenberry hated CBS for life; went to the afterlife having never forgiven them, and I don't blame the great man in the least, given the details of that real-life story (which you may know already [but then again real _Star Trek_ fans already know that story very well, don't they hehehehe]). F*** CBS! Get _Lost in Space_ , you Cycloptic CBS soy-boys!
Shame on you Paramount! You could have backed these wonderful actors, writers, stage support people, camera people and so that made Star Trek Continues by funding a web/online series. You could have sold advertising and sold it to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and made some good money supporting some of the best Star Trek I have seen since I watched the original at 8 years of age in the late 60's. But nooooooo, you had to isolate them, make them generate their own money, watch them build a real fan base and get popular, then pull the plug after 11 episodes. I will never watch Star Trek Discovery now as Paramount has really let me down. They have all of the original sets built and they are ready to make more shows if your corporate people could just open their eyes a little and see the potential right in front of them. Sorry for the rant but i want more of Star Trek continues!!! What is really sad is they have done all of the hard work, all you would have to do is step in and boost them to a series level. i became an engineer and build the technology that allows your cell phone to do everything it does from watching Star Trek when I was young. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This set that was recreated is not exactly the same as the originle with reference to the engineering deck. In a scene from day of the dove the acess ladder between decks is located just outside the engineering doors. In this recreated set it is not
Opinion: Star Trek Continues is, without question, THE ABSOLUTE PINACLE of all the Star Trek fan films. The OTHERS...DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE. Mr Mignogna, I literally take my hat off to you, your associates and your fantastic work. Grazie molto. Il tuo laboro e maraviglioso!! Buon Natale e bonna fortuna! Chi vidiamo.
Starting to wonder if these mini-movies and spins on the original can survive with all the legal going ons of late. Since so few can afford an attack by the movie industry and all the folks that are expecting royalty payments, I believe this sort of Fan based entertainment is going to die out.
I'll be honestly truthful... that might actually be a good thing. It might force people to create something NEW instead of recreating something that's decades old. That is the problem with entertainment right now. It's on a tape that never stops but goes around and around eating itself. It doesn't create anything new but recycles constantly. I've seen my fair share of fanfilms but they were hampered by issues with direction, action, scripting, etc. I understand people's hearts were in these things but you could tell it wasn't their day job to be frank. STC was actually one of the better tries BUT honestly at this point in time I could do without Season 4 or 5 of Star Trek. I know where it ends up and I can rewatch the original series and movies anytime I want to. I'd like to see something new that doesn't have "Star Wars" or "Star Trek" in the title and that ISN'T exactly like those other series, either!
So sad that CBS has banned anymore fan based productions. I know they say that they haven't but we know they are lying. I love and treasure each and every Fan based productions.
My goddess I always loved Star Trek. I will pledge the same amount of money to startrek continues as I have paid to see the JJ Abrams foolishness in recent years
They've managed to build the whole shebang, from the Bridge to the Engine room. Kudos for that. Where most first rate fan-films go weak is in the alien settings, the ship of the week. They're typically rushed; thrown together last minute and thus the illusion that the terrific Enterprise sets afford you is suddenly killed, it pulls the viewer out of the illusion more than some of the elementary school level acting. For example, Kitumba was fantastic until we saw the interior of the Klingon battle cruisers and the Kutumba's private chambers. Don't skimp with the alien ships and environments..
Actually, original Trek often skimped on the same things. It wasn't exactly a high budget show, excellent as the optical FX and stock Enterprise shots were.
In that episode, Kirk was tricked into having sex (implied) with an alien to spread human sickness to her and from her to her race because her people could not get sick. It’s a convoluted plot about population control. It was the worst episode of TOS. Come on, the aliens could have used Tinder.
Amazing! Star Trek Continues has the same "fell" as the original series. It's like going back through time and seeing a lost episode. Great stuff. Remarkable job. Thank you.

Another episode, divided we stand. Thank you Vic and the crew for star trek continues

I never like the way the period between the five year mission and the TMP was truncated.
the cast of the star trek continues are doing an amazing job at continuing the Classic star trek series, I hope they keep it,
Damn, but I'm going to miss this show and these guys.
Thank you ST-C and Vic. Your work is appreciated greatly! I wish it could go on and on...
It's spooky how much Vic looks like Shatner from certain angles.. Love this series, sorry to see it go.. Well done.
I find Vic does a better Kirk than Brian Gross on Star Trek Phase II/New Voyages..
Well, to be fair, Vic's been playing Captain Kirk longer than Brian Gross has been doing anything.
He has Kirk down to a science. The way he moves was especially impressive. He knows how to Kirk-walk lol. All it took for me was a few minutes getting used to a new voice. After that, he was Kirk.

The older I get, the more I realize what an excellent actor William Shatner is. He owned that ship. "Caesar of the stars".
+Gypsy Prepper "Caesar of the stars" is a quote from the TOS episode "The Conscience of the King".
+Boo Ninny Correct.it is, and very applicable
That stance Shatner had was so awesome, the weird way he held his arms. It's crazy how close the new Kirk mimicks the old Kirk. I've seen "Iris" and find the acting 100% better.
The best star trek fan production to date. It is perfection.
STC is absolutely magnificent! So well done. The TOS music rounds it out and tugs at the heart.... and attention to detail is truly remarkable. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime. Paramount/CBS.... paying attention?
STC is pure brilliance and cbs should look and take note of what true fans have achieved with Axana and STC and work with theses great people
Too bad the "Star Trek Continues" uploads themselves always have comments disabled. I would've said for one thing I thought "Fairest Of Them All" was excellent.
+MrMarkerickson It was good, but it saddens me that it only confirms that Deep Space Nine permanently killed off the Terran Empire
I feel like Star Trek Continues is the one channel that has comments disabled that really doesn't need it. Usually channels that put out a lot of garbage do that to avoid hate comments. I don't see many people hating STC.
Maybe it's more of a fandom thing. They DO tend to be overly harsh
Amen, brother.
Funny thing, is that Funko / Super 7 jave made a line of "80's retro" style Star Trek figures. And Kirk actually resembles Vic more than he does Shatner.
ReverendSyn. that so funny. and so true
I just found out about Star Trek Continues. I will say that T.O.S is and always will be #1 but to the S.T.C people..... well done.
Greatest Star Trek remake ever! Hell perfect even! Is this possible how good this show is!?!? It’s the best remake of ANY show ever!
Very much agreed!
I love these new episodes! Keep up the great work!
Eat your heart jj abrams STAR TREK CONTINUES.
I figure Abrams' biggest problem is, he wants the shows to be "for everybody." But you can't do that and make them for dedicated "Star Trek" fans at the same time. You have to give up one for the other.
Yeah JJ Abrams is all about money. He doesn't care about quality. Nothing he does is original. He has no creativity or soul. He should be fired.
star trek continues is ok they just need the old quality not the hd remastered one it just doesnt feel like the old quality of the old star trek
I don't like the HD-DVD STAR TREK totally ruined the show! I prefer the DVD 5.1 remix is not all that bad they are mixed with some creativity. Also the proper original mono mixes on Laserdisc are so choice.
daminmancejin You have to remember that TOS was shot in the 60s with limited SFX.
"Warp" ahead 55+ years to CGI.
No contest.
I have been watching episodes back-to-back and really enjoying them! This series is SO much better than the other ST follow-up series and really does justice to the original series! Thanks lads and well done!

Now that Chris Pine is out as Kirk I hope they could convince Vic Mignogna to play the role(with a William Shatner Cameo)

Blame CBS. They are intent on destroying the franchise.
Kurt Angerdinger Blame Axanar. They though they could use the fan base to justify their violations.
Thank you, Vic, you gave me Star Trek back
They are amazing awesome job in continuing the Epic ST saga
...As long as they stay-off the "GAY-AGENDA," I'm all for them...FUCK the new world order...
Even the actor playing Kirk has Shatners mannerisms down to a T
great editing!
Go Star Trek Continues! Go!
I love Continues. I’d love another!
Star Trek Continues is just epically weird and good!
I just discovered this show and have been enjoying it.
Lolani, was a most excellent episode , Spock would concur......🖖
After all the original cast aint gettin' any younger :) But Shatner and Nimoy would probably want too much money anyway.
so sad..... :(
RIP Nimoy....
I was afraid that would happen before we got one last reunion. So close....
Probably true. But I would love to see Shatner interviewing Vic or the reverse. I think either way would make for interesting viewing.
+WaybackTECH They could do a crossover again with the DS9 crew that popped up in Trouble with Tribbles.
*****
Some of the DS9 cast will be in the next episodes of ST Renegades, though I don't think they will be the DS9 crew, at least not with Terry Farrel since Jadzia got killed by Dukat
WaybackTECH
Oh yeah, I heard about that. Imdb.com says she's going to be Jadzia though. I'm not sure how that'll be pulled off though. It could still take place on DS9 somehow. I like that even the actress that originally played O'Brien's little daughter is planned to be in it.
I can't tell you how endearing you are to me! ❤️💯😇
Safe to say Shatner hasn't, since he doesn't even watch himself. But Vic has shown him pictures of the sets and he appreciated the tribute.
Too bad it's only 1 season, would have loved to see more.
cant coment on latest episode? dont know why . just how good are these guys. so good. thank you.
Star Trek television series is an all-time favorite 😆😆🇨🇦📺📽️😆😆😃😃😃
"Exact replica, but completely inoperative" lol
Especially when the original Enterprise disconnected the upper disc from its hull? that was not only awesome? but it was excellent, excellent excellent. I didn't know that the original USS Enterprise could do that in an emergency. Vic! Please! Continue. you are destined to do this. We all have faith in you.
Itdidn't. They change that.
Incredible Video
A tad bit of The Mark of Gideon and a second of Metamorphosis at the end.
Welcome to the real precursor
for a sequel of Star Trek!!
It's like 1967 is back, today. Evidently, I'm Johnny come lately to the channel.
Chris Doohan in fact did appeared in 2009 Star Trek and Into Darkness. But not as Scotty.
There are two STOS sets now? At Upstate New York and Georgia eh?
Yes, the Official Set Tour is in Ticonderoga, and the Neutral Zone Studio in Georgia is still used for fan films. There are also some TOS fan film sets in Arkansas called Warp 66, and possibly others.
SufferingFoolsMusic
Do you think that Vic will ever take a stab at recontinuing STC again ?
STC is amazing
STC follow the TOS to a T in set...Music ... Stories and spirit ... Bravo... !!! When were they filmed is my question ... 2013 2014 2015 or 2016...???
All of the above.
I'd sacrifice a couple toes to stand on that bridge.
This show is fantastic! Vic is great as Kirk.
Vic Mignogna is a true artistic and acting genius
hes a chomo
He's also a real creep.
The actress who played the Romulan Commander in this episode is the daughter of the actress in TOS.
GOOD JOB ON CUT AND PASTE
If CBS was smart, they would hire the production staff from STC for STD. I just hope Discovery is nothing like Jar Jars universe.
Roguezilla If they were smart there would never have been a wretched show like Star Trek Discovery.
@Roguezilla
: "I just hope [STD] is nothing like Jar Jars universe."
No, it's not.
The closest to the real thing
Sorry, Munky. I typed TOS but the auto spell checker added the rest. 😲
clever video. :-)
LOL! Clever.
Hello, can I have a link to original Mignogna's video, please?
video.wired.com/series/obsessed is where the Vic Mignogna footage comes from.
Thanks!
The actor who plays Spock looks like Sheldon playing Spock.
This set that was recreated is not exactly the same as the originle with reference to the engineering deck. In a scene from day of the dove the acess ladder between decks is located just outside the engineering doors. In this recreated set it is not
Would LOVE to see you in Wrath Of Khan timeline!
I'll bet this is from the season 3 episode, "Mark of Gideon"
good job
Chuck Huber did a great job as McCoy !
How about Dr. McKenna though??? OMG YES PLZ
Opinion:
Star Trek Continues is, without question, THE ABSOLUTE PINACLE of all the Star Trek fan films. The OTHERS...DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE. Mr Mignogna, I literally take my hat off to you, your associates and your fantastic work.
Grazie molto. Il tuo laboro e maraviglioso!! Buon Natale e bonna fortuna! Chi vidiamo.
dude a chomo
Thanks to all of those who made real Star Trek come alive again.
I love and treasure each and every Fan based productions.
indeed! What a slap in the face to the spirit of Star Trek.
What episode is that? I don't remember this episode.
Most of this is from "The Mark of Gideon."
Hahahahahahahahahahaha yes! :-)
My goddess I always loved Star Trek. I will pledge the same amount of money to startrek continues as I have paid to see the JJ Abrams foolishness in recent years
Unfortunately they are wrapping up post-production now on their last episodes and are no longer accepting donations.
Mark of Gideon is the episode with the fake empty Enterprise.
Funny.
Ha ha cute!!
Chidooo
In that episode, Kirk was tricked into having sex (implied) with an alien to spread human sickness to her and from her to her race because her people could not get sick. It’s a convoluted plot about population control. It was the worst episode of TOS. Come on, the aliens could have used Tinder.
So the planetary population was "controlled" by infecting them with an (implied) STD?
Abrams took the magic out of Star Trek, and I'm sure others agree.
I missed out..just discovered stc this week. How sad CBS went with Discovery trek because it really sucks. I hope you all come back.
Minhonha I don't belive!
