Beautiful. Nicely said, Hannah. I found Rachel when I was watching your channel - helping redo part of her kitchen. It's wonderful to see the ongoing, deeply caring friendship between the two of you; both strong young women who have been through some tough stuff, and chose to stick it out to find out what happens from here. You both inspire me so much, even though I'm probably older than either of your mothers, Us "old dogs" can still learn new tricks and, if we are truly wise, we will benefit from observing the ways of the "young pups", instead of letting the seeds of dissonance grow. Rachel, I'm new on your channel. I have 4 dogs, 3 Maltese and one rescue of a friend of mine who died suddenly. It's hard to lose our furbabies. I have Maltese named Zsa Zsa after Zsa Zsa Gabor, and it's a perfect name cause she is a "diva".😂 Take care and be careful (it's the "mom") in me.

Hi Rachel, you might have already selected your preferred rose variety for your chicken coop, If not, I’d like to recommend Don Juan Climbing Rose. I know of a couple of sources for you: I’ve seen it advertised at Heirloom Roses, and I bought mine at a local Big Box store. I think that I’ve had mine for about three years now. The fragrance is wonderful, and for most of the year, there are either blooms happening, or new growth, or both. I live close to Death Valley, so we do get extreme heat and wind here. I find that this variety fares better than our other roses, which have a rougher time in the heat. If you want to see what they look like, I’ve got a Short on my channel that went up today or yesterday (MORNING MATTERS is the title of the video), and you can check it out. Take your time with your projects. It’s OK if you’ve got a part two or however many it takes. It’s your channel, these are your projects. Own your autonomy and do what’s best for you as you heal and continue moving in the direction of your dreams. I’m glad to have found you here. Cheers! 😊
Also, I don’t follow you because you finish projects (because you don’t 😅) but because I like how you have courage to just start anything and have the funnest ideas. It makes me confident to just start on ideas I have - and to allow myself to jump to another one once again

I love that you are very up front. I know how you feel. We lost our dachshund Tootsie of 14 years in the summer. A week later, we found 2 pit bull mix dogs in our yard. We didn't have plans to keep them, but in the end, we decided to keep them. They are so happy with us. They mended our hearts with time.
I don’t comment much but… Haha it was the hammock for me ❣️. Same thing happened to me when I put mine up! I did a A frame chicken coop too. Well it was for my ducks but yours looks wayyy better then mine. Lol ..As for YOU , I ❤ watching you not only because I love your projects but I love how raw and organic you are yourself with your struggles with all aspects in life. It really lets us know is safe to be human too! Hugs for you for your baby! I bring my dog with me EVERYWHERE! He’s my best friend and really helps me with my anxiety and panic attacks and I can’t imagine the day his energy crosses over and I can’t physically hold him anymore. Knowing his spirit will still remain brings me comfort 🐕 💕

I hope you are feeling better for real. For my part, i finally found a job. Not in graphic design...in administrative support. It's in a really cute and cool district with some second hand store, cute little coffee shop, a lot of trees, green spaces and even littles boxes with free books on the street. You are building things! not slowly like you say! Love the design of the coop! I wish I could have something like that to protect my cat (all gotten by animals here) if I 'save' another one. No matter what we do, coyotes or owls get them because cats won't come in when needed at night or the mostly blind one snuck back outside when my guy herded him back inside at night because our outdoor tent was just mesh fabric tent. but blind kitty snuck back out through the sliding glass door when my guy went to turn off the water hose that he used to get the kitty to come inside. If we had a sturdy structure connect to the cat door, kitty could have stayed out all night like they (cats) want to... hmmm... here in AZ this could be a thing people would pay good coin to have and save the kitties.. I love your content Rachel. We love you.

Dear Rachel, I really love what you do and always look foward to watching your videos. Just one thought: maybe do not start too many projects at once because you will soon feel overwhelmed which is totally understandable. I dont think a chicken shack or a horse stable is the priority right now. I understand your love for animals and the healing and love that comes with having dogs, chicken, horses, but this is maybe not the time to get more and more work and duties on your shoulders. Keep it simple for now .Baby steps. Sending you lots of love!

Could you pleaaaase let me know how does Blaze (and also Callie for that matter) stay so nicely on your property? I feel like my dogs want to explore the world once I try to let them go. I haven’t seen any kind of dog training puppy school stuff mentioned in your videos, so I was just wondering.

Omg u mention cali n I lost 5 ppl since ur last video n crazy ur neighbor dog comes n bark at u my cousins dog jumped the fence and bit his neighbor wtf my mom lost everything n moved in with my but my sister is her provider n she’s planning on just taking off putting her stuff in storage but if she does that’s my sister income witch put her at risk of loosing her place n my house isn’t big enough for me mom my son my sister nephew n her dude like fuck no so I’m using my outlets to diy read n take time for self bc it’s soooooooooo much going on my depression and anxiety had me cry myself to sleep the other night

You have a vlog style to your videos that works, not in just in a way that’s still entertaining for us, but also in the way that you need for your mental and emotional well-being.
That’s part of why I enjoy watching you because you DIY the way I (and I’m sure a lot of us) DIY, moving from one part of a project to another because your passions or attentions have shifted, having a vision that may need some changes once you finally live in the space, or working in your most comfortable attire even if it’s not traditional “work wear” (girl if I filmed my DIYs it would have to go to Only Fans 😂).
So please don’t feel pressure to have a whole project finished in every single video, especially not right now, but not ever. Your community is here to support you and the algorithm will catch on to how awesome we all know you are. ❤
