Perfect use of old and new assets, custom sound design and great stylization of textures! No longer blurry mess or pseudo-photographic ugliness, but pixelated retro beauty. Amazing.
This looks insanely great. The colored lighting with the flares; Lara's model _(mixup of TR3's head and TR4's body);_ the off-centered ways items are placed in each square of the grid; the way geometry is expertly used to convey a sense there's always another nook and cranny to explore; the object placement throughout the level... What engine are you using...? I reckon it does look a lot like TR3, but isn't it TEN stylized to look like TR3? The project just looks much better compared to many of its TR3 peers, so I'm left wondering if there's something a bit extra at play here.... *BTW small critique:* The underwater sections could use a bit more of a heavy color, floating debris & microparticles, and water refraction/ wobbly effects, as from the footage at the end of this video, it looked as if Lara was actually flying through the air, given how water was just too clear and without anything visually indicating its density.
This exceeds any TRLE level I have seen thus far, oh my oh my. This better be available to play soon 😍
