IMPORTANT TO NOTE: So, right as I was finishing this video up, fromsoft released a major patch which changed a lot of stuff, so here are the changes applied to the weapons I discussed: 1. Red bear hunt for the red bear claws now has better damage and hyper armor 2. Horn calling storm for the horned warrior’s greatsword now does more damage 3. Revengers blade for the Falx has better aim for the second part of the skill 4. Overhead stance for the great katana now does more damage 5. Swift slash for the backhand blades now doesn’t travel as far and has longer recovery time I can’t believe half of the weapons on my list got changes but there was no Rellana’s Twin Blades buff, sad.

So glad you had a blast with the DLC. I enjoyed Euporia a lot when I first got it after that huge platforming section and after being recently buffed it has become extremely viable. I also enjoyed all the beefy big bonk weapons oddly enough. The black steel hammer was my first DLC weapon I got to try and I had a ton of fun. Will be using all of them when I play more runs. Great list Chad!! You are a true Chad for putting backhand blades at such a high place even though many people think the backhand blades move set are basic and isn't good for bosses. I think if you put the right buffs, upgrade it to a high level, and put the right effects on the blades like poison or flame it will be a beast of a weapon. Even on its own it's a great weapon just upgrade it to a good amount and it's ready to carry you until the end. Anyways great video Chad!
The Obsidian Lamina stole my heart, though its tragic how late you get them. The amount of control you have over the weapon art dodge just lets you dance around bosses and the follow-up does some pretty solid stance damage
Milady and the backhand blade were instantly my favorite weapons in the game when I tried them out. The style is just too much to pass up. I didn't discover wing stance till much later though, and my god, I never went back.
If you make a top 10 worst weapons list and Radahn's swords aren't number 1 then idk what you're doing. Can't believe the final boss has two pairs of colossal swords that both suck. Why aren't they paired together and made into a stance ash of war lol
@@JonathanFlexxthe weapon is trash, idk why Elden ring won’t just give the player a broken weapon especially after fighting a hard boss, the blasphemous blade was the only weapon I felt like was broken.
Despite never being a dex player in this game something about the backhand blades made me fall in love. Never used normal curved or straight swords or daggers but those things are special. They look great and are easy to use and the blind spot ash of war is so much fun. I want to love the milady, but something about it just feels off. The combos look amazing but I rarely get to use them in combat before either getting staggered or already killing the enemy.
From the moment I saw Danes footwork in the trailer I hoped that they would be available for us players and I am so happy with what we got. And the fact that you could get them very early if you challenge Dane is a great option to start with it before the final boss fight. Well done FromSoft.
Special mention to Anvil Hammer. It looks cool, has cool lore, hits like a bullet train, and it's unique skill sends you into a crouching stance for a while.
Fun fact about the Red Bear claws: the guy who uses them is a complete nutcase who could be right at home in Bloodborne. His lore states that he wants "to be a bear, and nothing more". Really nice of Fromsoftware to add furries in this game and then make them hilariously insane. Hell, whoever came up with "Bear Communion" should get a raise.
Love the long haft axe. Don't understand why everyone goes crazy for the twin axes but longhaft gets little love. Also the montage of dodges throughout this video are so smooth

I wish they would make a change for all of the single weapons that change to power stance when you one hand them. Make the one handed talisman buff them, and or just give us a talisman strictly for these types of weapons.
It was rushed 100% radahn is clearly not finished. Sad that they didn't just delay the game for a little while longer to fix the issues. Radahn is just a underbaked boss all things considered.
While I wouldn’t say the Sword of Night is bad, I still think it needs a buff. It’s literally just a worse version of Hand of Malenia as there is basically no armor and even less damage and bleed. The Only thing going for it is that it does magic damage that doesen’t scale with intelligence
Amazing list. I ran a 80 all stats character on my first run (NG+7) and rellanas' L2 R2 destroys everything. I don't really know how I would use it on a normal build seeing as the right hand weapon scales with magic and I like light greatswords with a shield. Definitely a high level weapon either way. I havn't gotten the greataxe yet but from what I've seen about it, it's everything I wanted the crescent moon axe to be, which was one of my favorite weapons. Can't wait to get it! Lastly I wanna say that I actually prefer the dryleaf arts personally, mainly because of the 1h R2s. I just love those attacks. I made a samurai character recently with a uchi on the left hand and dryleaf right hand and it's just so cool. 1h attacks are very underrated!

A flash into a powerstanced nuetral light combo string is just awesome in many cases, especially in pvp. Especially straight swords. However the top 2 weapons have to be raksasha’s katana and the back hand blade. Too much damage, too much poise damage, too powerful stills and AoWs. I'd have to say the new Dragon great katanna. Still has bleed and that ashe hits like a truck. Destroys everything even of its not a dragon
@@lblack2180 It is a super fun skill to spam, especially since it looks awesome
Does everyone forget the sword of night can’t be blocked if you’re using then ash of war?
@@SebastianTheCrab-qj6ti I actually never realized that. That’s awesome
same for the claws of night
Overhead stance on great katana dealing LESS damage than unsheathe feels like a bad joke. You will literally do more damaging with a running R1 given proper equipment and that costs 0 FP. The heavy attack isn't particularly good either given how long it takes, at least they had the decency to give it enough damage though so you can at least act cool against staggerable enemies because you won't be getting that ash off against bosses in most cases
I already miss pre nerfed claws of night
Man i love falx
Peak this peak that
How has no one mentioned Blood Fiends Arm that weapon is insane
Where is Chicken Leg and Fire Knight Greatsword? Probably the strongest weapons from the DLC, along with Euporia (though I believe the vid was made before it got buffed, so it's understandable you left it out)
@@justhair17 Ya, the Euporia would’ve easily made the list after that update
great video
@@Will-fe3xw Thanks
can you recreate each overpowered speedrun build of each souls entry in elden ring?
Rellana’s twin blades need a buff at least for the magic ash of war like giving the magic scaling on the weapon a B scaling in int or even faith and intelligence having a B scaling
@@alexparker440 Ya, really would’ve made it top tier
Fine since you are a Chad. I’ll watch the video.
@@michaeldones2320 thanks
The night claw is legit one of thr top dps item in the game use aged of algertarion talisman magic scorpion charm rotten sword insignia malicifents prosthesis blood sucking tier golden vow thorny cracked tear and black dumpling mask I legit do 50 to 60k damage in a few seconds
Fire knight greatsword IMO is the best weapon in the entire game right now.
Every time I see your videos you have persona 5 music. You should make a persona top
@@SebaFuentes Idk, I like P5 but I don’t know if I’d be able to make good content on it
Star lined sword is peak
Surprised the buffed euporia doesnt have a spot on the list. Genuinely nuts damage after buffs and doesnt take as long to stack.
@@openartifact339 Like I said in the pinned comment, I finished making this video before the big update which buffed a lot of stuff
