Hi sir i have a Fiat Freemont from 2014 Multijet 2.0 diesel, and it often does not want to start since the computer keeps displaying that the car is not in park. When i move the poker sidewise and push the start button at the same it does work sometimes. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Thank you.
Also be aware that when replacing these units, "especially with a used one" it will have to be flashed at the dealer. So if it doesnt shift & continues to have a p0700 code, thats why.

Hi I have a fiat freemont cross road 3.6 , we have recently done a oil change new air filter , trans oil and filter and spark plugs, I have a shuttering issue sometimes and. It doesn’t idle properly all the time , I have cleaned the throttle body the map sensor and air intake sensor , nothing is working took it to the dealer they just said start with spark plugs no luck there.
Please could you help me with this problem, I would appreciate an opinion, 2009 dodge journey 3.5 v6. The transmission works fine for a couple of miles then suddenly returns to second or third. If you close the key, reset is done and again it is fine for about two miles.
Take it to a mechanic asap. They are known for terrible transmission. If you catch it early you might save it. You are entering limp home mode, usually from lack of pressure in fluid but sometimes the computer is at all fault or sensor. Worse case is often torque converter which you don't want.

Just cut out piece where the tcm should be and nothing there. The plastic that is there is molded to fit a tcm but empty. It is a 2012 Dodge journey so I am wondering about another location. Your video is great and visually perfect so I know I have the location correct that was shown.
Hi every one. I have a freemont 2.0 4x4 170ps. Automatic. The only problem it started now like 1 month. Is when I drive R.eserve and after D.rive it goes off the engine and it shows me the oil lamp. Hey guys, I am getting Error Code P0957 Auto Shift Manual Mode Circuit Low in a 2010 Dodge Journey. The vehicle will drive fine most of the time but will suddenly shift into second and redline the RPMs if I am over 70kph. Once I pull over, put it in park, shut off the vehicle, and restart the issue goes away. Any idea how to remedy this issue? Thanks.

The pcm is integrated with the ecm. Thats why they call it the PCM. Powertrain Control Module. Its all one unit.
