I love the hunt, but I really love how you remind us all to slow down and notice the subtle beauties all around us! You have a great way of reminding us to slow down and smell the roses, so to speak! Great episode!
Even without filling your tag, I think it’s your best video yet from one Mississippi boy to another. It’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. Most of the time, the only limitations we have are in our own head. You’re an inspiration bud! Good luck on the rest of your season 👍🏼
Great video. I hunt out west every year but it's been 5 years since i packed in several miles and stayed. Did it plenty in my 20's through 40's. At 55 and i getting in shape to do it again next year. I absolutely love this type of hunt.
Amazing perspectives Jeremy. That kind of hunt is on my bucket list, I’m 49 with beginning stages of arthritis so I just need to make it happen. Thank you for reminding all of us to appreciate the journey, and a kill is just lagniappe!
I have enjoyed your trip seeing the things you see and experience… you said it well about life I’m 59 and I enjoy introducing grandkids to hunting and the outdoors… 🇺🇸
Great show ,, because of yaw me and my wife went on our first Suburu hunting adventure to an Arkansas WMA , we hiked hunted and camped . It was a great adventure in Gods beautiful country. We did get a pig but no deer ,,,, thanks for the encouragement to go on an adventure ..
Great hunt! I'm taking my oldest boy on his first white tail hunt, in November. This will be my 30th anniversary for the deer woods. Its going to be a trip taking my 9 year old with me.
I’ve been doing an out of state trip the last few years, been as far as western Nebraska. I can’t wait to see the west and do just what you did. Love the show man. Hope to see ya out there someday.
I'm several years older than you and i feel every ache, pain and challenge of your hunts, as well as the joy and feelings of accomplishment. I'm digging deeper each year to keep hunting and i thank you for the inspiration. I'll take a few more breaks, get a snack and keep going! Thanks, I'm a LoUiSiAna fan. 🦌
Thanks again for another great video. Hunting has always been a way to recap my life experiences past and present. Taking an animal is just a small part of the hunt.
Thanks for the show. Love the site my friend. I'm 70 and still in health to go hunting for deer but what you did would be a challenge. God bless you man. Keep it up. Peace.
I love going on adventures with you and I'd sure love to go on a camping hike in the mountains at least once while I'm still able hunt hard but I live in Florida so my sheep feet are not to sharp lol. Thanks for sharing
Jeremy: I hope you are saved and have a personal relationship with Jesus! He created all that beauty you enjoyed on this hunt. I gotcha by 16 years; I have fished and hunted all my life. Have lived most of my life! Just make sure you have asked the Lord to forgive you of your sins and come into your life! He will and write your name in the lambs book of life. Then you will live with God and all the born again believers! Don’t take my word for only. Read the Bible yourself and trust by faith in Jesus Christ! He’s the way, truth and light of this world! Love your videos brother!
I still want to know the tires you run on that Subaru - but them last 7 minutes of this video - priceless. Write a book - I’ll buy one and I just bet - a lot of other people would too!!!! Thank you for these videos sir!!!
Great couple videos. Yes I'm 53 adn still wanting to do a hunt similar. Here in Maryland we don't have quite those size mountians. But maybe one day I'll climb that mountian. Thanks for packing us along.
You’re not alone. Seems like I’m hunting right beside you. Thank you. Of all your videos this is my favorite. Maybe someday, Mike from South central Ky.
I'm heading out in 2 weeks and I'm going to take my time if I fill the tag it's just the bonus just looking at those mountains and the scenes is worth it for me and the peace and quiet ✌️👍🇺🇲
I watch your videos all the time and yours are in the top 3 ,,, your stories are the real deal bro ,,, gritty,,, billy moles the bear hunter … none of them movie stars have what you put out there,,, there’s something about a simple man that just sets them apart … ay my bro 2 things ,,,them big old bucks they hear a gun shot and they get gone and even though it’s beautiful country ,,, it may be a bit high for good deer hunting … but that’s just me talkin … it’s crazy that you ran into sheep… that’s high country and most definitely I’ll see you on your next video…
Enjoyed the video The older I get the more I take time to look at the things around me. When I hunt I see things now that I used to just look at if you know what I mean. I'm 66 now and have spent a many night alone on the trail and hope to spend many more
Definitely one of the best UA-camrs out there, awesome adventure and thank you for taking us along. I've just about got the gear together I think I'll need to do a pack in mule deer hunt hopefully this November. Thanks for the inspiration 👍👍
That mountain has a different way of touching your soul. Puts life in a perspective and its hard not to feel gratitude at the end.... I had a similar hunt in idaho a few years ago. Had a big winter kill the year prior, like over half the herd killed. Went all over the state, hiked 8-12 miles a day. Glassed, busted brush tried all we could. Only saw a few deer. That non rut early mulie hunt is tough, after a winter kill its next level. Gotta love that country though!
Leaving for Colorado the last week of this month. Planning on camping a couple of nights on the mountain this time. There is some kind of desire in some of us to go and see around the bend. See what God made. The kill is secondary. I revisit pics from past hunts all the time. I guess you and I are kindred spirits. Always awesome videos! Thanks for the motivation
Jeremy thank you, i enjoyed that more than the videos where your taking the right path. I believe also with age we sense what the important part is. Congrats on proving to yourself you can still do it. My friend your tough as a lighter knot. God bless.
Not sure what region you was hunting in. But I was doing some research and I came across a startling statistic. They were saying in region G and H which is a popular region for nonresidents to draw tags. They had an 80% die off due to a harsh winter in 2023. Maybe that was why you wasn't seeing many muleys
You mentioned nearly getting frostbite years ago, what boots do you use treestand hunting in cold weather?? Please give specifics. Thanks for the reply in advance. As always love your content. Joined a club in Banner this year for my MS hunting, headedvto Kentucky and Indiana next month. Great job from Tate County
@@earneygraham5298 I found these in a boot store in WI several years ago on close out Chippewa they have sheep wool in them. I think a good leather boot with 1000 gr of thinsulate will work fine for tree stand hunting.
One of my favorite video series ever. Thanks man!
Thanks.
I love the hunt, but I really love how you remind us all to slow down and notice the subtle beauties all around us! You have a great way of reminding us to slow down and smell the roses, so to speak! Great episode!
God's blessings on all of us that love his creation. Great show !
Gotta love technology sometimes. Sitting here watching the public land goat while I'm hunting a good Ga buck
A lot could be said here, but I think it can be all summed up with this….you’re a very wise man, Jeremy and I have a ton of respect for you.
Even without filling your tag, I think it’s your best video yet from one Mississippi boy to another. It’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. Most of the time, the only limitations we have are in our own head. You’re an inspiration bud! Good luck on the rest of your season 👍🏼

Captivating videos of your hunt! I’m a few years ahead of you and was DIY in WY this Sept.

Yes it is.
Takes me back to my time in Montana. I'm 61 now so not sure I'll go back, hunting alone has lost a lot of its appeal :)
Enjoyed the journey with you on your mule deer adventure. Like you said ,it's not all about killing an animal ,it's about enjoying life's adventures.
That is so true.
Great show Grind it out.

You should really reach out to Subaru and see if you can do a commercial. You make me want to buy one.

I enjoyed the video,
You covered a lot of ground not to see anything
Must not be any deer or elk there
Big winter kill 2 winters ago
Ain’t nothing like that country
It is amazing.
Any G-bears in that area?
Don't think so. Wasn't any bear signs at the trailhead.
How high is high country for you?
10 to 11
What brand and caliber rifle are you shooting on the hunt ?
Christensen Arms 308 win
That looked like a old horseback camp
