The floor restriction feature in an Orona let's you lock a floor in the lift, and then unlock it using a combination with the COP buttons. It is a sequence of 4 using the buttons, that is why only after pressing the COP 4 times the lift would say the "wrong code" message. If you let pass a certaint amount time without pressing the COP 4 times, it says the "end of code introduction period" message and the lift lets you choose another floor. Weird, I know. I'm not sure if the alarm button counts as a button for the code, would be a bit odd.
Hmm...interesting, I should try that if I found another Orona with a locked floor. Some other manufacturers also have similar feature, like Mitsubishi.

So what's the code?
