Agree with you on the latter, but apparently it already has an extended remix. Remember the Attack of Buena Vista at the end of the 101 Dalmations '92 VHS?
That wasn't an extended remix, it was just a looped version of the jingle with the last note of each of the first two parts of the jingle held out playing twice. I have no idea why the Disney VHS collection community keeps calling it a remix, because it isn't, it's a looped version. It would be cool if Gman used it in the beginning of the remix, right after the main jingle, and then build off it to make it sound like a full late 80's jazz song (kinda inspired by Great Ovation, except sounding more 80's rather than 70's), complete with a tenor saxophone section towards the end inspired by the melody of "When You Wish Upon A Star" towards the end of the extended theme. He could even chroma-key Sorcerer Mickey in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Fantasia and use that in place of the creepy still-image Mickey.
I wish someone did a yellow, black and white (Charlie Brown and Snoopy colors) variant of this logo with the words "PEANUTS BROADCASTING SERVICE" reminding viewers Peanuts specials are now on PBS! :)
Ya but in 1971 polyphonic synths didn't exist yet the Polymoog was the first synth to enable multiple keyed notes but Bob Moog didn't invent that until '73 I believe
Now this is something that I never knew! Back in the early 1970s; I've never been in the solid first grade, the same thing goes with the 2nd grade as well. Another thing is that; I could've been in a different city, even in a different state.😕 😒 😐 😑 😪 🙄 😕

Awesome! Sounds so 70's and psychedelic. It fits PBS really well. You should one of the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo.
