Ανέβηκε σε συμπαραγωγή με το ΔΗΠΕΘΕ Κρήτης, τους τέσσερις μεγάλους Δήμους της Κρήτης: Ηράκλειο, Χανιά, Ρέθυμνο, Λασίθι, και την εταιρεία Τεχνότροπον.
Dimitris Maramis is an Athens-based composer and pianist. He studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in the UK. He has composed large scale works of musical theatre: the musical "Erotokritos" (commissioned by the National Opera of Greece in 2017), the musical "The Hauntings" (commissioned by the Megaron the Concert Hall of Athens in 2019), the folk opera "Kapetan Michalis" based on the same title fiction by Nikos Kazantzakis (commissioned by the Region of Crete in 2021) and the opera "Eleftherios Venizelos" (commissioned by the Cultural Centre of Heraklion in 2023). He has composed the folk oratorio "Rebirth" (The Greek Revolution in 1821 commissioned by the Region of Central Greece in 2021), the symphonic work "The Cure" (commissioned by the Region of Thessaly in 2022) as well as the work for choir and string quartet "The Music of Rotunda" (commissioned by the Cultural Centre of the Region of Central Macedonia in 2018). Dimitris has composed also music for theatre (44 theater productions), cinema, television, symphonic orchestra, chamber music, solo instruments and songs. Moreover, he has released seven cd-albums. Dimitris has presented his music in various countries: U.S.A., United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg. He is also the artistic director of the Delphi Music Festival 2018-2023.
