@julyberet3939 When you get to the corner that is confusing, you ch2, skip the 1 dc and slip stitch into the top of the beginning chain. I hope this makes sense 😊

After round 7 did you have to use a slip stitch for every corner or every round?

maybe it's because you use a different yarn, but sadly that happened to me too. you can try blocking it to make it less stiff
Small?? mine is huge I've spent days on this and it's taking ages, barely even halfway done. Im contemplating starting again but it would take so long to unravel.
I used Elle Cottons DK with a 3.5mm hook and I did exactly as the tutorial shows and it came out perfect 👍🏻
I think you were using a less weight yarn or smaller yarn which will make it have less volume and therefore make it smaller

@@moana1533 i noticed that if you do 5 ch every time it looks kinda sloppy,, so i recommend doing it twice or three times until you have a basket-like shape and then just continue crocheting around without the slip stitch until you finish the bag portion :)

I'm confused i did 66 chain and respected everything but my line is smaller than my hand 2:29 😅
the chain line? it depends on how big your yarn is, I used a 5.5m crochet hook yarn
what kind of yarn is that ?
I believe the counting is off in this video because i chained the exact number of stitches and triple checked i was correct and still came up with 5 less boxes after the first row. Please fix this. I’ve spent six hours on this project all to just take it apart because the counting was incorrect.

Yes you can use 8ply yarn to make this bag, the size of the bag in general may be different depending on how much thicker your yarn is than the one in the video. You might have to play it by ear a little to get exactly what you want but honestly you should be fine

did you understand the pattern?? after row eight the whole thing skipped to the final product. i worked for 3 hours on this and have 40 rows. it’s not curling up or anything and the video is just showing her putting the straps on the bag
