    You could also place the first spring facing down, with the wider section on the top

    Damn, such a simple idea. Already tried it and it works like a charm! I couldn't find a wide enough spring, so I used a rubber washer on top of the spring to give it some extra width.

    If you don't want to pay $15 shipping on these, you can make your own coils with some steel wire that costs the same and some pliers.
    Only took me an hour to make two for both my cars.
    You can use your index finger or thumb to determine if the coils are tight enough.
    I used .032" wire. Thicker is probably better.

      Also Voodoo knobs are the best. Crinkle finish is my choice.

      Might have to check Bunnings or Mitre 10 for something equivalent 😄

    • @winguard96
      @winguard96  3 роки тому

      @@joshuarodriguez7731 possibly, it really depends on the shifter. The Miata shifter has that step where the spring can sit, if your Honda has a similar design then this same method could work!

    Now do something for the popup bushings 😂

      Popup bushings, can you elaborate? I've done my popup linkages but still have wobble. Definitely something I can look into.

      There are two stopper bushings that you can adjust out or in to stop the wobble. They usually start to wobble because the rubber on them shrink with age.
