@@DESMal Mathematically Focus HBG Builds arent worth it. Only in very few niche situations or speedruns. Part of it is also due to the Counter Charger Switch Skill. It basically gives you a higher version of Focus for free 😄(Since the Counter is very usefull, it can make Focus completely obselete, depending on your playstyle) Focus x Wyvern Fire is kind of fun to mess around with 👌🏽but has huge drawbacks aswell. Mainly the limited Ammo & other Ammo Types being able to deal just as much, or more DMG in the same time overall😅 (I might look into focus HBG builds as a fun bonus video aswell though.)

I Definitely know it's more efficient to just shoot more shots, but when I was grinding it was alot more ammo efficient to Charge alot of my shots as to save on ammo costs as I was broke for a good lot of my HR grind.

Why not use the amatsu hbg for both water and thunder? Considering how bad crit element is, there is no point in building crit anyways and the huge raw of the amatsu gun works out well
@@swapnajoynath1478 The Amatsu HBG is listed as a great alternative for Thunder & Water here aswell😄 It works very well and has a decent Raw Bonus. The reason why alot of players still prefer to run the other 2 Weapons, is because the larger clip size makes a more noticable difference on HBG due to the decreased mobility & reloads having to be timed more carefully on certain monsters. (The better slotage is good aswell, but not that significant) I personally use all 3 HBGs depending on the situation. Cant go wrong with either👍

Nice! That's actually very similar to one that i'm using too 😄 After getting Dragon Conversion to Lv 3, the most value from Augments would come from going for 1x Lv of MoH & the rest just Slot upgrades, or Skill on the Deco List to free up Slots. Then you can increase ATK Boost to Lv 6 or 7 & add whatever else you like. If you want to go purely elemental you can start by maxing out Burst & Element Exploit (It doesnt have that big of an impact though past Lv 2).
Okay I managed to put this build together but not quite as fleshed out and tested it against a diablos and began thinking... is this ammo going to be enough??... yes it was.. killed that poor thing in about 6 minutes
The Ammo realy does look limited at first, with how fast you can go through it. But when the Monster's HP just begins to melt away, it's like: "Okay.. I get why we dont get to carry a large stock of re-crafting Materials now 😅"
hey build looks insane! Although I am struggling to find which item gives the bloodlust skill in your first build as I think its quite an important skill for this build. Could you help me understand?
Glad you enjoyed it ^_^ Mail of Hellfire definitely "works" with these Builds. But the problem is that Mail of Hellfire & Furious x Dragon Conversion contradict eachother Scroll wise for Elemental Damage. Mail of Hellfire gets the Element Boost on Blue Scroll, while Furious x Dragon Con is mainly used on Red Scroll. You have 2 options: Use the 1st Build & play on Red, then Mail of Hellfire will give you a decent boost to Raw DMG. Or pick the 2nd Build in the Video (the one without Dragon & Furious) And play on Blue Scroll the entire time to get the Elemental Boost from MoH.

For end game i highly recommend the Amatsu gun over the daimyo one. Smaller clip size and less affinity however you get higher raw and every status ammo. However, what truly sets Amatsu apart is its ability to shoot thunder ammo, and turn the wall bugs at forlorn arena to thunder.
The Amatsu HBG is definitely another great choice! As far as just the actual DPS across an entire Hunt, Narwa still wins. But if you're in a situation were you can make good use of the additional Ammos, Amatsu is fantastic and can pull ahead👍🏽

Sadly there is definitely no replacing those pieces for Endgame Builds. You'll just have to run without the significant Skills tied to those armor pieces for the time. But no worries, you'll still be able to do pretty good damage either way.

Missing the Attack Augments will decrease the DMG output, but for elmental gunning it's not that big of a deal. For a Raw Build like Pierce/Spread/Normal Shot, it would be a drastic DMG drop.
The Amatsu HBG is more of a Sidegrade choice for Water & Thunder. If you're fighting something with both Elements as weakness, then the Amatsu HBG can be a good choice to avoid running out of Ammo. But in terms of overall DPS when focused on one of these Elements the other HBG options will come out ontop.
Hi. I'm new to Elemental HBG. I always have problem with lack of ammos, eventhough I bring herbs/bugs to craft during fight. I got only around 60+60 ammos per load which is not enough. Is it normal? Or did I miss something?
Hey there 🖐🏽 Sorry for the late reply, was out of town for a few days. That kind of Ammo shortage is completely normal 👍🏽 But once you get into Endgame Builds like the ones showcased in the Video, you will actually do so much damage with your shots, that you likely wont run out of Ammo/re-crafting supplies before the Monster dies/can be captured.

@@m477h3w1980 As soon as you overcome the Frenzy Virus from Bloodlust, the HP Drain should be very slow again. With Bloodrite addet to the Build, the HP drain normale causes no issues at all. Are there some significant Skill differences in your Build? We'll figure out what's going on👍
Take out the Chain+ 4 Deco & Element Exploit 2 Deco. Then put in a Capacity+ 4 Deco & a Chain 2 Deco insted. I think i might have actually mixed up the overlays there by accident. Thanks for letting me know! 👍🏽
I tried building same build no. 3, have exact same build with 443 Attack except for furious Level 3, I have Level 1 Furious only, tried hitting Freezing ammo on Diablos Lvl 100 Anomaly, I only hit max crit 98, 48 white. However, I see in the video 430 crit, 211 white damage. Am I playing a different game, mindless grind and still on same damage as 30 hrs ago, please help, or else i think its time to quit
Sorry for the late reply, I was out o town for a few days. No worries, we'll figure out what's going wrong there & fix it 👍🏽 The 430+ Hits are definitely also because the Shot was charged. Regular is around 200+. Having Furious Lv 3 makes a VERY big difference! Because it gives you alot of E-Resistance, wich gets converted into E-ATK (With Lv 1 you get +25 E-Res in total, with Lv 3 you get +100 E-Res. So the differnce is massive!) What are your other Skills looking like ? Are they exactly the same, or are thre alot of differences ?
It might look that way at first, but defeinitely not! 😄 Tune Up 2 only adds ~10 Raw Attack. Wich has 0 chance of beating the 2 Element & 6 Raw ATK that Coalesence Lv 3 gives over Lv 1. It's mainly because Coalesence activates insanely fast with piercing Ammo. Also because Raw Damage looses further value, since the elemental weakspot will not always be a Raw DMG Weakspot aswell. It would have to give atleast 20-25 Raw Damage to achieve the same result as Coalence Lv 3 (depending on Monster matchup & circumstances). Wich makes Tune Up Lv 2 a trap.
@@YokaiNox it's 100% uptime though. In multi-player, 100% uptime skills are so good, since you lose time chasing monsters. I'd say tune-up wins in multi.
@@CensorShtTube Skills with 100% uptime are great, i absolutely agree with that 👍🏽But the circumstances here change the value alot. It's 100% uptime on Tune Up, vs 90% uptime (or higher), with a ~20-25% higher DMG increase overall on Coalesence Lv 3 (due to the value of Element increases). Mathematically there's no way for Tune Up to win this matchup. And keep in mind that Coalesnce doesnt only activate from Bloodlust. It also activates when recovering from elemental blights for example. Wich happpens very often, since we can use the Tackle to super armor through things like a Fireball for example. Wich then inflicts us with the elemental blight. And the Coalescence effect re-freshes itself even when it's already active. Extending it's uptime. The actual difference in terms of overall DPS, is minor either way though. You can absolutely run Tune Up and have great results, if that's the Skill you prefer.
So which talisman should i use Im new to range weapons reload speed 3 , stun resistance 3 , 3-2-1 reload speed 3 , evade window 3 , 3-3-0 e reload speed 3 , dereliction 1 , 3-2-1
From the 3 Talismans you listed here, the 1st one would offer the most value. The other 2 could actually be considerred "better", but for our purpose here the 1st one is themost fitting. Since you'll be missing a Lv 4 Slot, i recommend just lowering Burst to Lv 1, by using a regular Chain 2 Deco, insted of a Chain+ 4 Deco.
It's "decent" 😄 For Raw DMG Builds it has good value. For Element Builds, It's more like a Bonus to add after there are no other skills you would like to have.
Hey, yeah you can unlock this pretty much at the start of the game 😄It belongs to the 2nd Set of Switch Skills that are unlocked in bas MHRise. You unlock them by crafting or upgrading a certain amount of weapons of that paricular Type. So just upgrade a few Heavy Bowguns, or craft some cheap ones if you want. You should then see a notification that Utsushi want to talk to you. He'll give you the new Switch Skills then.

@@timpike8559 Yup, @NoOne4k is correct here. Sadly pierce up has no effect on element pierce Ammo. It would also be to expensive from a Skill investment point to beat other skills we have here.

Been thinking of doing that aswell ^_^ Though tbh they would most likely be 90% identical to the Elemental HBG builds when using Rapid Fire Elemental Ammo. And 100% identical when using Single fire Piercing Element 😄 I might make a post about this in the upcoming days to see what you guys think😊
I have made the exact same build "easy template" but my max damage at a diablos is 150. You are doing like max 600. I dont know what I did wrong Exact same Skills, exact same weapon and of course using the right ammo 😂
Wait..you do realize the shots that are doing 500-600 are charged shots, right ? 😂 Max of uncharged Shots is around 300 on Diablos. Other factors that might be lowering the DP could be: Rampage Deco, using the correct scroll & utilizing the Dragon Con x Furious Synergy fully, hitting the highest elemental weakspots.

I would like to see a Dragon element build for HBGs. I can't see it being worthwhile but would like to know for certain.
The "worth it" part, is exactly it 😄👍🏽 Unless you're planning on doing speedruns with a group of 3 or 4 people, it's sadly just not worth it.

Also, what should we do if a monster is weak to Dragon Element? Just prioritize their 2nd highest element weakness? Move to a Spread 3 build instead?

You'd be better dropping coalescence down from 3 to 1 and adding tune up 2 I believe. (More consistent)Otherwise solid vid.

It also activates when recovering from elemental blights for example. Wich happpens very often, since we can use the Tackle to super armor through things like a Fireball for example. Wich then inflicts us with the elemental blight. And the Coalescence effect re-freshes itself even when it's already active. Extending it's uptime.
The actual difference in terms of overall DPS, is minor either way though. You can absolutely run Tune Up and have great results, if that's the Skill you prefer.

From the 3 Talismans you listed here, the 1st one would offer the most value. The other 2 could actually be considerred "better", but for our purpose here the 1st one is themost fitting. Since you'll be missing a Lv 4 Slot, i recommend just lowering Burst to Lv 1, by using a regular Chain 2 Deco, insted of a Chain+ 4 Deco.

It's "decent" 😄 For Raw DMG Builds it has good value. For Element Builds, It's more like a Bonus to add after there are no other skills you would like to have.

Hey, yeah you can unlock this pretty much at the start of the game 😄It belongs to the 2nd Set of Switch Skills that are unlocked in bas MHRise. You unlock them by crafting or upgrading a certain amount of weapons of that paricular Type. So just upgrade a few Heavy Bowguns, or craft some cheap ones if you want. You should then see a notification that Utsushi want to talk to you. He'll give you the new Switch Skills then.

@@timpike8559 Yup, @NoOne4k is correct here. Sadly pierce up has no effect on element pierce Ammo. It would also be to expensive from a Skill investment point to beat other skills we have here.

For me it's Frendzied Bloodlust..Whenever I try going for it as an Augment, it absolutely refuses to drop, untill my wallet is screaming at me 😅

Been thinking of doing that aswell ^_^ Though tbh they would most likely be 90% identical to the Elemental HBG builds when using Rapid Fire Elemental Ammo.
And 100% identical when using Single fire Piercing Element 😄

I have made the exact same build "easy template" but my max damage at a diablos is 150. You are doing like max 600. I dont know what I did wrong
Exact same Skills, exact same weapon and of course using the right ammo 😂
Wait..you do realize the shots that are doing 500-600 are charged shots, right ? 😂 Max of uncharged Shots is around 300 on Diablos.
Other factors that might be lowering the DP could be: Rampage Deco, using the correct scroll & utilizing the Dragon Con x Furious Synergy fully, hitting the highest elemental weakspots.
