I love that every build video you have you also give a raw build template even if that weapon is more suited for elements, i love trying out all the different weapons and learning them to keep the game fun and exciting even after many hours... But having to make 5 element biilds for every weapons is just wayyy too expensive and time consuming especially when im not sure if I'd be using the weapon as often

Something I didn't notice on the raw build but did on the elemental ones was guard up. It's personal preference but I really like guard up for CB in this game.

Missing a few key things. - Rampage Deco: Either 10% from Elembane when triggered, or a flat 5% via Anti Species Deco. - Increase from the Counter Morph Slash (Guard Point Switch Skill) when used ~15%
I made the last max dps build Even made the thunder and dragon ones with narwa and ibushi parts for max dps with strife and all thanks 👍🏻 I hate whenever a monster knocks me back while doing the big attack! It's frustrating Is there a skill to stop that ?
Nice ! Enjoy the Builds 👍🏽 Knock Back can be negated by adding Flinch Free into the Build. but if you're talking about being sent flying and things of that sort, only Intrepid Heart can stop that.
Glad you're enjoying the content ^_^ They Furious 3 Charm is not a requirement. There are some Tips & Notes in the Video on how you can make the Build(s) without it aswell. You can drop alot of the non-essential Skills and just add in regular E-Resistance Skills insted of it aswell.

@@perchipy7900 Sadly Furious is locked to Vigor melding only. The fastest way to grind for one is farming Melding Accelerants with the Zinogre Event Quest & hunting wichever high tier Anomaly afflicted Monsters you are most comfertable with.
Really enjoy your videos Nox, they are a huge help. Let's say I want to use the impact build + the comfy element one, both are using primalzeno gear. Wich augments do I go for? or do I bother crafting another set of armor
Glad to hear you're enjoying the content so much! In that case, I would recommend crafting 2 Sets of Armor, since the Augments & priority Skills in general, a very different for both Builds. If you do decide to go this route, I'd make the element Build first. Because you can then use it with a Dragon Element Phial CB to absolutely destory Primoridal Malzeno😄Wich makes farming for the 2nd Set of Armor considerably faster & easier. (And even if you choose to only make 1 set of Armor, the Element Build will still be the way to go, since the impact Build wont loose out on much by not having the Augments, compared to the other way around.)
i'm confused about something. Do you start the fight in blue scroll to get the element buffs (for conversion x furious synergy) and then switch to red? or does that not matter?
You always start on Red by Default, so you just have to switch over to Blue untill you get the buff, then return to red and stay there. So you pretty much had it right 😄👍🏽
@@burns5701 Sure thing, no problem ^_^ You switch to Blue first to activate the 2nd Effect of Dragon Conversion. While on the Blue Scroll you get +15 to every Element Resistance after landing a certain number of Hits (A sound will go off & a Shield Symbol will appear above your Health Bar). Once you got that, switch back to Red. Because the +15 to everything (75 in total) will now also be converted into Element Attack on the Red scroll. So you get even more Element Attack.
Thinking about a good alternative for rakna kadaki would be rathian charge blade. Because unless you're going for full element in the quiro crafting. Meaning you don't upgrade the rampage slot, rathian will have +3 element in comparison since you have to to make use of the element rampage jewel.

Hi Do you recommend doing the third build for max elemental dps or going with the TU5 ones ? I do a lot of elemental damage with the TU5 cb builds so I don’t want to spend a lot of time doing new ones only for a little increase in damage. Great video tho, you explain really well.
You can totaly stick to the TU5 Builds if you want! The TU6 Endgame CB Builds are mostly for Hunters that want something new to grind for, or work towards in the Endgame. The MAX DPS Build here is slightly stronger than any of the TU5 Builds, but it's not by much. You can still absolutely crush every Monster with my TU5 Builds 😊👍🏽
Yeah, if you can, dont use Skill+ for it. But it will still always come down to if the end result is worth it. Because -7 E-Res is still only 1-2 less Element ATK after conversion.

Glad you enjoyed it ! 👌🏽 For Blast the best option is still the Hybrid Build from the TU5 Video on the channel. It combines Savage Axe & SAED to get the most out of the DPS (can also be used for Savage Axe playstyle only).

Great video and a little late on that question: Does Furious and the Defense Boost lv 6 res buff cap the elemental resistance? If not would it be more damage, if I skill in the lv 4 elemental resistance jewels?
It wont cap all of the E-Resiatances, but it is definitely the most efficient way to get the best bang for your buck. It will also be different for everyone, due to the fact that augmenting can increase, or decrease some of the resistances aswell. But in short, if you have Furious Lv 3 & Def Boost Lv 6, you dont have to worry about anything else for the resistances.

Glad you enjoyed it ! ^_^ I honestly just switch back & forth between the styles based on what i'm fighting. I mostly go with Savage Axe on faster moving targets like Scorned Magna for example. But it's also always a great choice for monsters that dont have very good elemental hitzones, but have good Hitzones for cutting damage. For the switch Skills the only 2 I always run on Savage Axe are Spinning Axe & Ready Stance (on atleast one of the Scrolls). Everything else is dependent on the personal playstyle or preferences.

Hey 🖐🏽For elemental CB it realy doesnt matter much wich Dango you go for. You can just eat for whatever you personally like. (None of the Dango choice will make any significant difference to the elemental DMG, so there's nothing to worry about here :) )
Awesome sets as always Nox, I was searching for a way to increase my Impact Phial CB damage. My old set was using a (Bludgeon+3, Atk+7, Burt+3, Mail+3, Sneak+3) with Diablos CB, but after I saw your damage, I did a couple of runs against Rathian and couldn't reach that sweet 362 Phial, I was getting 222-252 per phial. So I started modifying the set and made it almost the same as yours but only got Mail+2 and Crit Boost+1, no Powder Mantle, but everything else was the same, and I must say I'm glad I changed my old set, was satisfying to kill Rathian so fast with Impact now doing 298-302 per phial.

Yup, adressed this in a seperate post quite a while back ^^ Interestingly the overarching theme raimained the same though, with over 80% of players considdering it to be too low value for the cost on SAED Builds. I personally still use it pretty frequently though, depending on the target.

Right now the best Savage axe build for Raw Damage is the Hybrid Build from the TU5 Video. But i'll look into how the interest in elemental Savage Axe Builds is. If it's something more of you guys wanna see, i'll make another video on it. It's actually realy simple to make now though. You can use the full primordial Malzeno Gear & add Dragon Conversion x Furious. After that just increase Affinity as much as possible and add Element Attack of choice, Element Exploit & Crit Element. Done 👍🏽

Hey there 🖐🏽 While the Primal Belt doesnt fit a Impact Phial Build very well Skill wise, the Slotage on it is so good that it will still be one of the best options overall. I know i'm kinda late, but may i ask something? In the max element dps build, you used defense boost level 6. Is that only for extra comfort, or there is another usage for that? Can i swap it with guard+ and guard up?
It's explained in the Video why it's on the Build 😄 It for the extra boost to all Element Resistances, wich than gets converted to extra Element Attack. The Raw Defense we get ftom it, is just a side bonus. You can drop it for something else if you like. But in terms of overall value, there's nothing else that's going to be better. However, feel free to use the Slots for whatever you like ofc! You can absolutely run Guard Skills insted!😊
Can someone explain dragon conversion, do you have to swap to blue and get some damage off then swap to red to activate the combined elements or what i dont get it?
You swap to Blue Scroll & Attack the Monster untill you get the multi-colored shield symbol above your HP Bar (It's the Elementl Resistance Buff indicator). Then you simply swap back to Red Scroll. Because on Red all of your E-Resiatnce gets converted into E-Attack. Meaning the additional E-Resistance you got while on Blue, also gets converted to E-Attack.
For the 2nd Build ? In the Augment section you can see that i got 1x Lv on the Arms & 1x Lv on the Legs with Augments. The Helmet already has 1x Lv when you make it.
@@enis-cemdeniz619 Haha that explains it! :D To get Epoch you need to fight Risen Valstrax. It's a seperate set of armor different from the regular Valstrax one.
Sorry bout the delayed reply, was on holliday^^ You can definitely do that. The question would be: What are you loosing in return? Depending on what you have to give up for the Skill+ Augmenting, You might be better off just dropping Furious entirely and going for extra Slots + Elemental Resistance Decos insted.
You want to upgrade the Rampage Slot so you can use the Elembane Rampage Deco. It will increase the Element Damage by 10% when your hitting elemental weakspots. It's a very big damage increase.
No worries, the other Talisman options i show in the Video can get you all the essential Skills that you need for the Build! And they arent very difficult to get :)
For the Diablos one, how do you have an upgrade in the rampage deco, attack increasing in the Qurio crafting, and it’s also showing an increase in sharpness? I don’t see any sharpness increases anywhere in the set or qurio crafting.
When you look at the Weapon Augment colors you can see that the only thing i have slotted in is Red, for the ATK Boost & Blue for the Rampage Slot upgrade. Everything else you get for free when you unlock all of the Augmentation Slots on a weapon. So you get extra Sharpeness & ATK when maxing out the weapon. Wepons with Element also get free Element ATK.
@@YokaiNox The amount of sharpness that comes with upgrading the amount of Qurio slots doesn’t feel like enough. Is it really optimal at white sharpness?
@@clowncarnival6208 The sharpness Level plays almost no role in the damage output for Raw CB Builds, that focus on Phial damage. Pushing it to purple is not worth the cost. we would end up loosing damage overall.
idk if the skill was already in the game when that video came out: instead of furious could you also use dragonheart? it gives more resistance (you need to take damage for it but i dont think that thats hard)
Yeah, the Skill has been in the game since base MH Rise^^ Sadly it has quite a few flaws for Endgame. 1st - It only works for Dragon Element. Because Dragonheart inflicts you with the Dragonblight, wich completely deactivates all Elements beside Dragon (It's useless on weapons with Fire/Water/Ice/Thunder). The 2nd problem is that 90% of Endgame fights will be against afflicted Monsters. They will inflict you with Bloodblight, wich regenrates your health while attacking. And Dragonheart requires you to stay at 70-80% Health or less. You will constantly be healing yourself past that point & deactivating the Skill - making it completely useless at that point^^"
The Flaming Espians CB starts with 45 Element, while the Rakna CB starts with 66 Element. So it's actually not even close 😄Rakna wins by a mile here! It's mostly because for elemental SAED playstyle Raw ATK pretty much doesnt matter at all. So the Rakna CB has nearly a 50% Element advantage here.
You can see wich augmenting methos was used in the Video 😄In the Augment Section for the Build it say "Augmentation Status" in Red at the top of each piece & it shows the augmenting method right underneath. I defenitely got lucky with the normal augmenting method there! You can just use the Skills+ Method to get Dragon Con + 1 Slot upgrade. But you dont need the 2ns Slot upgrade at all. If you dont get any Slot upgrades it's still fine aswell.
Very simple, Phials can not Crit! That is why you never want to use Critical Element on Charge Blade Builds that are centered around SAED playstyle. It would literally just be a completely wasted Skill!

Yup, absolutely! 👍🏽 It's not much different from just running Dragon Con + Furious. All you do is go to Blue Scroll > attack untill you get the e-resistance buff > switch to red scroll to get the Dragon Con e-attack buff > stay on red & enjoy. Dereliction & Strife will just do their own thing in the background. And if you have 1x Lv of Bloodrite, Dereliction will hardly even be noticable. The only difficult thing about it, is getting all the Skills you want into your Build, to your liking😄
Nope, no need to worry about that. Bloodrite will ofc heal you, but since Dereliction is always active, your HP will technically never be "full". So you will always get the 15% Element boost. And you usualy dont go low enough on HP anyway to trigger the 20% Element boost with this kind of Build (That only comes into play on Berserk Builds, but those are inferior this one).

Glad you're enjoying the content! ^_^ Yup, you can definitely upgrade both the Comfy & Max DPS Element Build with that Talisman, if you get Froscraft up to Lv 3 via Augments. (You might have to make up for a missing Lv 2 Slot, depending on your Augments. In that case, you can drop either a Medicine 2, or a Defense 2 Deco, to make room for something more important.) The only real thing to keep in mind with Frostcraft, is that it's a very situational thing on CB. You'll have to pick and choose the ideal moments to sheathe your CB in order to recharge the Frostcraft Gauge. A common mistake i see, is Hunters sheathing the CB imideatly when FC runs out. That can actually lead to a drop in overall DPS, since you can often go for a Counter Peakperformance into SAED insted, wich takes up less time. But if you're playing with Ai companions, Palicos/Palamutes, or doing mutiplayer, you wont have to worry about that too much. The Monster will be distracted often enough to sheath & recharge the FC Gauge pretty frequently in those instances.

Why is the first elemental discharge looks different than the second and the third one? Mine looks similar to the first one, just straight lightning While the other ones does this kind of like a Y shape lightning, what causes that?
Haha yup, it does kind of give a certain peace of mind, knowing that you have maxed out Builds and can just foucs on enjoying the game, without any other thoughts.
It's explained in the Video 😄Offensive Guard only increases Raw Damafe. It has no effect at all on elemental Damage. Wich makes the skill next to worthless on elemental Builds.
i mention in the Video that you can swap out some of the Decos if you like 😄But in this case Defense Boost is simply worth more, due to it giving us extra Element Resistance, wich gets converted into extra Element ATK. Neither ATK Boost, or additinal Critboost would have higher value on an elemental Build like this.
What will really change if I do thoses builds but with a dragon conversion 2-2-2 talisman ? I juste qurious augment furious instead of it but there are no up or down with it no ?
I covered that in the Video aswell 😄 Essentially nothing changes. The only reason why a Talisman with Furious would be preferable over one with Dragon Con, is because the Risen Valstrax pieces are very efficient for Builds that use Dragon Con. And some of the Pieces that use Furious just arent very good for endgame Builds. Wich can make it difficult sometimes to get all the skills you want with a Dracon con Talisman. But if you can get all of the essential Skills, it ofc wont matter 👍🏽(I use Dragon Con Talismans alot aswell).

:D Yup, Embolden. But you also realy dont need any Guard at all for SAED, so you can even drop Embolden if you like. The Counter Peak Performance Switch Skill has built in Max Guard. So you can Tank anything with that no problem.
Did u mean to say slots + on the arms and not skill + on the armors i wanted to go off from your showing in the image but. I got confused when when u said it differently from wat the image showd?
For the 3rd Build you mean ? Nope, i say in the Video that you can use the Skill+ Augmenting method on the arms, to make it easier to get the required Skills. But if you already have them, you ofc dont need to use Skill +. That is why i used Slots+, since i already had the required skills on the other parts, giving me the option to use whatever seems most benefitial for the arms.

@@jetpichu6736 The Teo CB is fine if you want to use Blast 👍🏽If you already have access to the Scorned Magnamalo CB, then that one is the better option for Blast CB. Because you want to mainly focus on the Raw Attack value when using a CB with Impact Phials.
rathian has 4 more fire than rakna btw- this is because you have to sacrifice 2 levels of element attack boost to fit in the rampage deco+ when augmenting the rakna cb. they are both close tho rathian is still a little better
The Rathian CB does have 3 more Fire Element than the Rakna CB (Rathian 107 - Rakna 103). But in terms of actual ingame performance Rakna ends up as the winner. It has more White & Purple Sharpness & +30% Affinity, wich is more than enough to outperform 3 extra Fire Element^^ Rathian does have higher Raw ATK, but still cant close tha gap created by the Affinity. In the end they are so close in damage that it honestly doesnt realy matter wich one you use. I personally use both of them 😄 The only reason why Rakna is used more often for Endgame Builds than Rathian, is that the extra Lv 1 Slot can come in handy for certain benefitial Skills.
@@vinegardoppiovolo3004 If your Diablos CB is fully upgradet Bludgeoner looses it's value. It's not worth it on endgame Builds and i wouldnt recommend using it.
@@slashdog-fz The comfy builds are easier to make & have addet survivability. They might drop a bit of DPS, but if a more comfy playstyle works well for you, the DPS might actually not be lower at all, if you can stay engaged in the fight more.
Nope, there havent been any nerfs. The first question that comes to mind is, are you using Guard points to trigger the DMG buffs from Offensive Guard & Counter Morph Slash correctly ? Because that will make a huge difference in Damage! Also eating for the Bombadier Dango Skill as mentioned in the Video ?
@@YokaiNox I think I got it. I'm having issues to have all the buffs active at once: peak performance, blood awakening, the guard points and etc. Skill issues ahahha
@@vagnersouza7334 No worries! Peak Perfroamnce is realy just icing on the cake, and can even be switched out for other Skills if you like, as mentioned in the Video. With a bit of playtime/pratice, Blood Awakening will increase in uptime aswell. You'll definitely see it increasing over time! ^_^
Does it matter which augment goes on which piece, specifically for The Punisher? Every time I augment, the skill I need for a different piece shows up on another, lol
I actually thought something similar at first 😄Raw Sns is kind of comparable to Raw CB, so you can get away with it, by making a few small adjustments. But the setup for Element is completely different, due to the Weapons motion values, "special attacks", importance of sharpness modifiers, etc.
@@YokaiNox i actually tired it with lucent narga CB and removed may crit eye decos. And change it to artillery and load shells. Got coalescence 3 an bloodlust 3 with master's touch. + burst 3 and foray 3. It is actually a status focus build since my sns runs that way. I think its works well less the crits but crits from foray, bloodlust WeX compensates
Literally wherever you want 😄Aslong as you start with the largest Decorations on the list and work your way down in size, everything will fall into place by itself by default.

Great vid as always, though I have a question regarding the first build. While I was researching for CB builds, most guides/videos I saw said that raw SAED impact playstyle charge blade is dated and outclassed by elemental SAED charge blades, and most builds they even try to recommend for raw/status charge blades are build up boost with either poison or blast using CSS(savage axe). Since you obviously played and tested the first build I'd like the hear how effective you think it is compared to the elemental builds. Obviously it's good enough for you to put it in the video, but just curious. I favor SAED spam slightly more than Savage axe and I really wanted an all rounder raw build for it
Great Question here! 👌🏽 In terms of DPS for SAED, Raw Damage/Impact Phial CB is definitely just outclassed by Element. I personally thought the gap would get a bit smaller between the 2, but pretty much the opposite happened lol That said, when used correctly/with some pratice a solid Impact Phial Build can still hold up nicely! While the Damage is lower in general, it is still alot more consistant, since Impact Phials dont care about the Monsters Hitzone values. Combined with the easy KOs it makes for a very comfertable playstyle that still yiealds good damage when compared to other weapon types. + Against certain monsters (especially in mutiplayer) it can also very benefitial to have a closer dispersion of the Phials, to actually hit the monster where you want to. With them moving so much in late Endgame it can be tricky to consistantly hit elemental Weakspots with the widely dispersed/spread elemental Phials. I personally grab an Impact Phial Build when i feel like using something comfy & reliable. It's also a nice option when joining rooms to help out "newer" players. It lets you help them out, without nuking every monster to death in 3-5min^^" As for Savage Axe Builds, yup that is still the most widely used Raw/Impact Phial Build type right now. It pretty much reached it's peak in TU5, where i also includet a Build for it in the TU5 CB Builds Video. It can be upgradet slightly now in TU6, but it hardly makes any difference at all in performance. Thanks for the Question & the Feedback! 👍🏽

For me it's Strife @.@ I have yet to get a single decent Talisman with it. Dereliction has been an issue for me on Talismans aswell. RNG likes to troll us all in some way :D
@@YokaiNox I also still haven't gotten the crit eye 3 with 3 lvl 2 slots for the hammer builds u said itd be easy to get lol. I got one with 3-2-1 slots so I'll make that work until I get that. For now I guess ill just keep rolling the random talismans until I get something good. (Btw what were the switch skills used for this first build)

@@coolestfire4208 Since that Talisman gives you a big headstart on 2 of the most essential Skills, the most valuable option would be going for Slot upgrades with the Slot+ Augmenting now. You will likely be able to push the Damage even higher then & add a few extras aswell.

Hey there 🖐🏽It would require atleast a Froscraft Lv 3 [2-2-0] or better, to make it worthwhile. And while Froscraft is very strong on elemental CB, it's also very playstyle dependent & not always the best choice. Since sheathing the CB & recharging the Frostcraft Gauge requires quite alot of time across a hunt. You'll often get more damage out of simply using Counter Peak Performance + another SAED, in the time you would have sheathed & recharged Frostcraft. It's a very situational thing.

It's adressed in the Video :D Phials can not crit. So Critical Element is essentialy useless, on any CB Build that focuses on Phial Damage. You want to go for Skills that raise the Element output on your weapon directly here. Crit Element only comes into play if you want to run Savage Axe playstyle.
Hitting that Elemental Discharge with all Phials connecting is honestly one of the best feelings from all 14 Weapons. Thanks for covering CB Nox!
I confess I wasnt the biggest fan of it at first because of how broken the damage felt. But i do realy enjoy using it on certain Hunts now! 😄

I love that every build video you have you also give a raw build template even if that weapon is more suited for elements, i love trying out all the different weapons and learning them to keep the game fun and exciting even after many hours... But having to make 5 element biilds for every weapons is just wayyy too expensive and time consuming especially when im not sure if I'd be using the weapon as often

- Rampage Deco: Either 10% from Elembane when triggered, or a flat 5% via Anti Species Deco.
- Increase from the Counter Morph Slash (Guard Point Switch Skill) when used ~15%

Knock Back can be negated by adding Flinch Free into the Build. but if you're talking about being sent flying and things of that sort, only Intrepid Heart can stop that.

They Furious 3 Charm is not a requirement. There are some Tips & Notes in the Video on how you can make the Build(s) without it aswell.
You can drop alot of the non-essential Skills and just add in regular E-Resistance Skills insted of it aswell.

In that case, I would recommend crafting 2 Sets of Armor, since the Augments & priority Skills in general, a very different for both Builds.
If you do decide to go this route, I'd make the element Build first. Because you can then use it with a Dragon Element Phial CB to absolutely destory Primoridal Malzeno😄Wich makes farming for the 2nd Set of Armor considerably faster & easier.
(And even if you choose to only make 1 set of Armor, the Element Build will still be the way to go, since the impact Build wont loose out on much by not having the Augments, compared to the other way around.)
i'm confused about something. Do you start the fight in blue scroll to get the element buffs (for conversion x furious synergy) and then switch to red? or does that not matter?
You always start on Red by Default, so you just have to switch over to Blue untill you get the buff, then return to red and stay there.

You switch to Blue first to activate the 2nd Effect of Dragon Conversion. While on the Blue Scroll you get +15 to every Element Resistance after landing a certain number of Hits (A sound will go off & a Shield Symbol will appear above your Health Bar). Once you got that, switch back to Red. Because the +15 to everything (75 in total) will now also be converted into Element Attack on the Red scroll. So you get even more Element Attack.

Thinking about a good alternative for rakna kadaki would be rathian charge blade. Because unless you're going for full element in the quiro crafting. Meaning you don't upgrade the rampage slot, rathian will have +3 element in comparison since you have to to make use of the element rampage jewel.
Yup, it's a decent sidegrade for sure 👍🏽In terms of overall DPS it has no chance of beating Rakna though.

Do you recommend doing the third build for max elemental dps or going with the TU5 ones ?
I do a lot of elemental damage with the TU5 cb builds so I don’t want to spend a lot of time doing new ones only for a little increase in damage.

You can totaly stick to the TU5 Builds if you want! The TU6 Endgame CB Builds are mostly for Hunters that want something new to grind for, or work towards in the Endgame. The MAX DPS Build here is slightly stronger than any of the TU5 Builds, but it's not by much. You can still absolutely crush every Monster with my TU5 Builds 😊👍🏽
Don't use skill+ augments for dragon conversion builds, it will always give you a -7 to ele res.
Yeah, if you can, dont use Skill+ for it.
But it will still always come down to if the end result is worth it.
Because -7 E-Res is still only 1-2 less Element ATK after conversion.

For Blast the best option is still the Hybrid Build from the TU5 Video on the channel. It combines Savage Axe & SAED to get the most out of the DPS (can also be used for Savage Axe playstyle only).

Does Furious and the Defense Boost lv 6 res buff cap the elemental resistance? If not would it be more damage, if I skill in the lv 4 elemental resistance jewels?
It wont cap all of the E-Resiatances, but it is definitely the most efficient way to get the best bang for your buck. It will also be different for everyone, due to the fact that augmenting can increase, or decrease some of the resistances aswell.
But in short, if you have Furious Lv 3 & Def Boost Lv 6, you dont have to worry about anything else for the resistances.

I honestly just switch back & forth between the styles based on what i'm fighting. I mostly go with Savage Axe on faster moving targets like Scorned Magna for example. But it's also always a great choice for monsters that dont have very good elemental hitzones, but have good Hitzones for cutting damage.
For the switch Skills the only 2 I always run on Savage Axe are Spinning Axe & Ready Stance (on atleast one of the Scrolls). Everything else is dependent on the personal playstyle or preferences.

Hey 🖐🏽For elemental CB it realy doesnt matter much wich Dango you go for. You can just eat for whatever you personally like. (None of the Dango choice will make any significant difference to the elemental DMG, so there's nothing to worry about here :) )
Awesome sets as always Nox, I was searching for a way to increase my Impact Phial CB damage.
My old set was using a (Bludgeon+3, Atk+7, Burt+3, Mail+3, Sneak+3) with Diablos CB, but after I saw your damage, I did a couple of runs against Rathian and couldn't reach that sweet 362 Phial, I was getting 222-252 per phial. So I started modifying the set and made it almost the same as yours but only got Mail+2 and Crit Boost+1, no Powder Mantle, but everything else was the same, and I must say I'm glad I changed my old set, was satisfying to kill Rathian so fast with Impact now doing 298-302 per phial.

Interestingly the overarching theme raimained the same though, with over 80% of players considdering it to be too low value for the cost on SAED Builds. I personally still use it pretty frequently though, depending on the target.

Right now the best Savage axe build for Raw Damage is the Hybrid Build from the TU5 Video.
But i'll look into how the interest in elemental Savage Axe Builds is. If it's something more of you guys wanna see, i'll make another video on it.
It's actually realy simple to make now though. You can use the full primordial Malzeno Gear & add Dragon Conversion x Furious. After that just increase Affinity as much as possible and add Element Attack of choice, Element Exploit & Crit Element. Done 👍🏽

I know i'm kinda late, but may i ask something? In the max element dps build, you used defense boost level 6. Is that only for extra comfort, or there is another usage for that? Can i swap it with guard+ and guard up?
It's explained in the Video why it's on the Build 😄
It for the extra boost to all Element Resistances, wich than gets converted to extra Element Attack. The Raw Defense we get ftom it, is just a side bonus. You can drop it for something else if you like. But in terms of overall value, there's nothing else that's going to be better. However, feel free to use the Slots for whatever you like ofc! You can absolutely run Guard Skills insted!😊

Can someone explain dragon conversion, do you have to swap to blue and get some damage off then swap to red to activate the combined elements or what i dont get it?
You swap to Blue Scroll & Attack the Monster untill you get the multi-colored shield symbol above your HP Bar (It's the Elementl Resistance Buff indicator). Then you simply swap back to Red Scroll. Because on Red all of your E-Resiatnce gets converted into E-Attack. Meaning the additional E-Resistance you got while on Blue, also gets converted to E-Attack.

For the 2nd Build ? In the Augment section you can see that i got 1x Lv on the Arms & 1x Lv on the Legs with Augments. The Helmet already has 1x Lv when you make it.

Depending on what you have to give up for the Skill+ Augmenting, You might be better off just dropping Furious entirely and going for extra Slots + Elemental Resistance Decos insted.

You want to upgrade the Rampage Slot so you can use the Elembane Rampage Deco. It will increase the Element Damage by 10% when your hitting elemental weakspots. It's a very big damage increase.

For the Diablos one, how do you have an upgrade in the rampage deco, attack increasing in the Qurio crafting, and it’s also showing an increase in sharpness? I don’t see any sharpness increases anywhere in the set or qurio crafting.
When you look at the Weapon Augment colors you can see that the only thing i have slotted in is Red, for the ATK Boost & Blue for the Rampage Slot upgrade. Everything else you get for free when you unlock all of the Augmentation Slots on a weapon. So you get extra Sharpeness & ATK when maxing out the weapon. Wepons with Element also get free Element ATK.
@@YokaiNox The amount of sharpness that comes with upgrading the amount of Qurio slots doesn’t feel like enough. Is it really optimal at white sharpness?
@@clowncarnival6208 The sharpness Level plays almost no role in the damage output for Raw CB Builds, that focus on Phial damage. Pushing it to purple is not worth the cost. we would end up loosing damage overall.
idk if the skill was already in the game when that video came out: instead of furious could you also use dragonheart? it gives more resistance (you need to take damage for it but i dont think that thats hard)
Yeah, the Skill has been in the game since base MH Rise^^ Sadly it has quite a few flaws for Endgame.
1st - It only works for Dragon Element. Because Dragonheart inflicts you with the Dragonblight, wich completely deactivates all Elements beside Dragon (It's useless on weapons with Fire/Water/Ice/Thunder).
The 2nd problem is that 90% of Endgame fights will be against afflicted Monsters. They will inflict you with Bloodblight, wich regenrates your health while attacking. And Dragonheart requires you to stay at 70-80% Health or less. You will constantly be healing yourself past that point & deactivating the Skill - making it completely useless at that point^^"
Hey i was wondering, isn't pyre espinas charge blade better for fire ? Pyre espinas has more raw, element and decorations slot (lvl 1)??
The Flaming Espians CB starts with 45 Element, while the Rakna CB starts with 66 Element. So it's actually not even close 😄Rakna wins by a mile here! It's mostly because for elemental SAED playstyle Raw ATK pretty much doesnt matter at all. So the Rakna CB has nearly a 50% Element advantage here.
What is the best Argument Option to get the Arguments (Argument normal; Skills+ or Slots+) for the Legs for the 3er Build?
You can see wich augmenting methos was used in the Video 😄In the Augment Section for the Build it say "Augmentation Status" in Red at the top of each piece & it shows the augmenting method right underneath.
I defenitely got lucky with the normal augmenting method there! You can just use the Skills+ Method to get Dragon Con + 1 Slot upgrade. But you dont need the 2ns Slot upgrade at all. If you dont get any Slot upgrades it's still fine aswell.

Very simple, Phials can not Crit! That is why you never want to use Critical Element on Charge Blade Builds that are centered around SAED playstyle. It would literally just be a completely wasted Skill!

Can you effectively use dragon con, furious, dereliction, and strife?
Yup, absolutely! 👍🏽 It's not much different from just running Dragon Con + Furious. All you do is go to Blue Scroll > attack untill you get the e-resistance buff > switch to red scroll to get the Dragon Con e-attack buff > stay on red & enjoy.
Dereliction & Strife will just do their own thing in the background. And if you have 1x Lv of Bloodrite, Dereliction will hardly even be noticable.
The only difficult thing about it, is getting all the Skills you want into your Build, to your liking😄

Does blood rite negate strife effect? Like one big discharge will get HP full, then strife will get deactivated, right?
Nope, no need to worry about that. Bloodrite will ofc heal you, but since Dereliction is always active, your HP will technically never be "full". So you will always get the 15% Element boost. And you usualy dont go low enough on HP anyway to trigger the 20% Element boost with this kind of Build (That only comes into play on Berserk Builds, but those are inferior this one).

Yup, you can definitely upgrade both the Comfy & Max DPS Element Build with that Talisman, if you get Froscraft up to Lv 3 via Augments. (You might have to make up for a missing Lv 2 Slot, depending on your Augments. In that case, you can drop either a Medicine 2, or a Defense 2 Deco, to make room for something more important.)
The only real thing to keep in mind with Frostcraft, is that it's a very situational thing on CB. You'll have to pick and choose the ideal moments to sheathe your CB in order to recharge the Frostcraft Gauge. A common mistake i see, is Hunters sheathing the CB imideatly when FC runs out. That can actually lead to a drop in overall DPS, since you can often go for a Counter Peakperformance into SAED insted, wich takes up less time.
But if you're playing with Ai companions, Palicos/Palamutes, or doing mutiplayer, you wont have to worry about that too much. The Monster will be distracted often enough to sheath & recharge the FC Gauge pretty frequently in those instances.

Why is the first elemental discharge looks different than the second and the third one?
Mine looks similar to the first one, just straight lightning
While the other ones does this kind of like a Y shape lightning, what causes that?
It's based on the type of Phial your CB uses.
Impact Phial = Straight Line
Elemental Phial = Y/Trident shape
At least now that Sunbreak is finished, I definitly know this is the macimum and best builds for Charge Blade! So I ddont havr to make any more!
Haha yup, it does kind of give a certain peace of mind, knowing that you have maxed out Builds and can just foucs on enjoying the game, without any other thoughts.

It's explained in the Video 😄Offensive Guard only increases Raw Damafe. It has no effect at all on elemental Damage. Wich makes the skill next to worthless on elemental Builds.
I may be dumb but why not just swap out def up on max do’s elemental for attack up or crit?
i mention in the Video that you can swap out some of the Decos if you like 😄But in this case Defense Boost is simply worth more, due to it giving us extra Element Resistance, wich gets converted into extra Element ATK. Neither ATK Boost, or additinal Critboost would have higher value on an elemental Build like this.
What will really change if I do thoses builds but with a dragon conversion 2-2-2 talisman ? I juste qurious augment furious instead of it but there are no up or down with it no ?

Essentially nothing changes. The only reason why a Talisman with Furious would be preferable over one with Dragon Con, is because the Risen Valstrax pieces are very efficient for Builds that use Dragon Con. And some of the Pieces that use Furious just arent very good for endgame Builds. Wich can make it difficult sometimes to get all the skills you want with a Dracon con Talisman.
But if you can get all of the essential Skills, it ofc wont matter 👍🏽(I use Dragon Con Talismans alot aswell).

:D Yup, Embolden. But you also realy dont need any Guard at all for SAED, so you can even drop Embolden if you like. The Counter Peak Performance Switch Skill has built in Max Guard. So you can Tank anything with that no problem.

Nope, i say in the Video that you can use the Skill+ Augmenting method on the arms, to make it easier to get the required Skills. But if you already have them, you ofc dont need to use Skill +. That is why i used Slots+, since i already had the required skills on the other parts, giving me the option to use whatever seems most benefitial for the arms.

@@jetpichu6736 The Teo CB is fine if you want to use Blast 👍🏽If you already have access to the Scorned Magnamalo CB, then that one is the better option for Blast CB. Because you want to mainly focus on the Raw Attack value when using a CB with Impact Phials.

Why you don´t use the Artillery skill in the elemental builds?
Because Artillery has no effect on Elemental Phials at all. The skill is completely useless for Element^^
rathian has 4 more fire than rakna btw- this is because you have to sacrifice 2 levels of element attack boost to fit in the rampage deco+ when augmenting the rakna cb. they are both close tho rathian is still a little better
The Rathian CB does have 3 more Fire Element than the Rakna CB (Rathian 107 - Rakna 103). But in terms of actual ingame performance Rakna ends up as the winner. It has more White & Purple Sharpness & +30% Affinity, wich is more than enough to outperform 3 extra Fire Element^^
Rathian does have higher Raw ATK, but still cant close tha gap created by the Affinity.
In the end they are so close in damage that it honestly doesnt realy matter wich one you use.
I personally use both of them 😄 The only reason why Rakna is used more often for Endgame Builds than Rathian, is that the extra Lv 1 Slot can come in handy for certain benefitial Skills.

"TU6" is just what everybody calls the bonus update that brought us Primordial Malzeno after TU5. Every plattform has access to it 👍🏽

@@vinegardoppiovolo3004 If your Diablos CB is fully upgradet Bludgeoner looses it's value. It's not worth it on endgame Builds and i wouldnt recommend using it.

@@slashdog-fz The comfy builds are easier to make & have addet survivability. They might drop a bit of DPS, but if a more comfy playstyle works well for you, the DPS might actually not be lower at all, if you can stay engaged in the fight more.

I'm playing this punisher build on May 2024. And the damage numbers are way smaller. What am I doing wrong? Was there any nerf?
Nope, there havent been any nerfs.
The first question that comes to mind is, are you using Guard points to trigger the DMG buffs from Offensive Guard & Counter Morph Slash correctly ? Because that will make a huge difference in Damage! Also eating for the Bombadier Dango Skill as mentioned in the Video ?
@@YokaiNox I think I got it. I'm having issues to have all the buffs active at once: peak performance, blood awakening, the guard points and etc. Skill issues ahahha
@@vagnersouza7334 No worries! Peak Perfroamnce is realy just icing on the cake, and can even be switched out for other Skills if you like, as mentioned in the Video. With a bit of playtime/pratice, Blood Awakening will increase in uptime aswell. You'll definitely see it increasing over time! ^_^

Not at all! You can get any of the Augments on any part you want, aslong as the Skill result is the same ^_^
I thought i can use the set i built for my SnS. Looks like it does not fit for CB.
I actually thought something similar at first 😄Raw Sns is kind of comparable to Raw CB, so you can get away with it, by making a few small adjustments. But the setup for Element is completely different, due to the Weapons motion values, "special attacks", importance of sharpness modifiers, etc.
@@YokaiNox i actually tired it with lucent narga CB and removed may crit eye decos. And change it to artillery and load shells. Got coalescence 3 an bloodlust 3 with master's touch. + burst 3 and foray 3. It is actually a status focus build since my sns runs that way. I think its works well less the crits but crits from foray, bloodlust WeX compensates

Literally wherever you want 😄Aslong as you start with the largest Decorations on the list and work your way down in size, everything will fall into place by itself by default.

That's the Diablos Charge Blade. It's in world aswell :D But you can also use a Safi Jiva CB and customize it with more Raw Attack.

@@hazimahmad Violet Mizu. For high Raw, Good Sharpness & fantastic Slots. But you have to upgrade the Rampage Slot to Lv 2, so you can use Anti-Speciec Rampage Decos.
why not critical element?
Charge Blade Phials can not do critical Hits.
So Critical Element will do nothing at all for them.

Great vid as always, though I have a question regarding the first build.
While I was researching for CB builds, most guides/videos I saw said that raw SAED impact playstyle charge blade is dated and outclassed by elemental SAED charge blades, and most builds they even try to recommend for raw/status charge blades are build up boost with either poison or blast using CSS(savage axe).
Since you obviously played and tested the first build I'd like the hear how effective you think it is compared to the elemental builds. Obviously it's good enough for you to put it in the video, but just curious. I favor SAED spam slightly more than Savage axe and I really wanted an all rounder raw build for it

In terms of DPS for SAED, Raw Damage/Impact Phial CB is definitely just outclassed by Element. I personally thought the gap would get a bit smaller between the 2, but pretty much the opposite happened lol That said, when used correctly/with some pratice a solid Impact Phial Build can still hold up nicely! While the Damage is lower in general, it is still alot more consistant, since Impact Phials dont care about the Monsters Hitzone values. Combined with the easy KOs it makes for a very comfertable playstyle that still yiealds good damage when compared to other weapon types. + Against certain monsters (especially in mutiplayer) it can also very benefitial to have a closer dispersion of the Phials, to actually hit the monster where you want to. With them moving so much in late Endgame it can be tricky to consistantly hit elemental Weakspots with the widely dispersed/spread elemental Phials.
I personally grab an Impact Phial Build when i feel like using something comfy & reliable. It's also a nice option when joining rooms to help out "newer" players. It lets you help them out, without nuking every monster to death in 3-5min^^"
As for Savage Axe Builds, yup that is still the most widely used Raw/Impact Phial Build type right now. It pretty much reached it's peak in TU5, where i also includet a Build for it in the TU5 CB Builds Video. It can be upgradet slightly now in TU6, but it hardly makes any difference at all in performance.

I honestly might just go with your build because the guard talisman *might* be easier to get, I'm already surprised I managed to get a frostcraft 2 talisman for your great sword build

It realy seems like everyone has a certain set of Talismans that just wont drop for them without a struggle. For me it's Strife @.@ I have yet to get a single decent Talisman with it. Dereliction has been an issue for me on Talismans aswell. RNG likes to troll us all in some way :D
@@YokaiNox I also still haven't gotten the crit eye 3 with 3 lvl 2 slots for the hammer builds u said itd be easy to get lol. I got one with 3-2-1 slots so I'll make that work until I get that. For now I guess ill just keep rolling the random talismans until I get something good. (Btw what were the switch skills used for this first build)

@@coolestfire4208 Since that Talisman gives you a big headstart on 2 of the most essential Skills, the most valuable option would be going for Slot upgrades with the Slot+ Augmenting now. You will likely be able to push the Damage even higher then & add a few extras aswell.

Hey I noticed u said something along the lines of trying for frostcraft, but also that it requires specific charm set up. What charm set up would it need?
Hey there 🖐🏽It would require atleast a Froscraft Lv 3 [2-2-0] or better, to make it worthwhile.
And while Froscraft is very strong on elemental CB, it's also very playstyle dependent & not always the best choice. Since sheathing the CB & recharging the Frostcraft Gauge requires quite alot of time across a hunt. You'll often get more damage out of simply using Counter Peak Performance + another SAED, in the time you would have sheathed & recharged Frostcraft.
It's a very situational thing.

Dragon Con is an A-Tier augment, so it might take a little time. But it's usally not that bad.
So do you not run critical element jewels on anything? Is it better to just run dragon frost, bolt or blaze jewels

Phials can not crit. So Critical Element is essentialy useless, on any CB Build that focuses on Phial Damage. You want to go for Skills that raise the Element output on your weapon directly here.
Crit Element only comes into play if you want to run Savage Axe playstyle.
