This may be mean, but i want to see a species go from land, to water, back to land and ice age, to lava island, and then finally, a desert like environment.
I like how the sharks basically survived everything and stuck to their water roots until the very end, it’s really interesting considering sharks and other cartilaginous fish have survived numerous mass extinctions of the course of their existence
11:33 "Well uh all the species appear to be prospering. That must mean that life isn't hard enough for everyone. OK." *Proceeds to lower water levels.*
Good idea! But a bit too easy I think. With population spread between herbivores and carnivores, both tend to evolve speed. I just started H&C map, left it for few hours on max speed, and most of the creatures had move speed of 9+
Maybe there is a lot of food at the start, but you slowly get rid of food not allowing creatures to be as complex slowly, forcing them to become a worm due to the lack of resources
World changes to try: Water world No water at all Max tree world Creature to try: Long worm Spider random start with high mutation chance Floating potato Starting creature.
Spiders aren't really possible, from what I can tell. The creatures appear to be limited to 3 pairs of limbs at max, and the limb types don't really end up looking very spider-like at all from what I was seeing. You can make something that vaguely resembles an ant, though, but I couldn't get the legs to not look like garbage.
You totally need to evolve a species of dragons. Have blue sea dragons and green land dragons, and once both species are at the epitome of evolution, force them to go to war with each other and see which side extincts the other :D.
I think what happened is: The herbivores initially had motivation to go onto land - to get away from the sharks that would prey upon them, whereas the sharks had no such initial motivation to go onto land. As the herbivores found safety on land there was a food shortage for the sharks, so they evolved to eat the oceanic plant matter as opposed to evolving to follow their food source onto land.
You should show the family tree/ species tree at the end of the video, it would probably look pretty cancerous but it could still be fun and interesting to see
