I just found out she passed 13 years ago. I am very sad. Thought of her recently and decided to look up her music. What a talent. She has a natural quality to her voice and so much charisma. So sad to me to read of her passing.

So sad when she died. I played this song every day for weeks after she passed away. I still think about how much I miss her every time I hear this song. ;-(

Hear on my car radio a couple of days ago.So sad when I googled her on my computer !!!!and found out she had died in 2004.Such an amazing voice!!RIP Laura.So glad I discovered you!!

back in those days the voice was more important than a video so music corporations spent most of the money on releasing LPs and promoting their tours. Unlike today when people like NIki Minaj releases a video every week to satisfy the mass consumerism and brain washed masses to believing what is actually good. This is pure talent un-adulterated in the raw with no computer digitizing and silly vocal acrobatics. In short this was a time when talent rode a front seat to the image being sold.
