  • Bravura by Charles Duble is one of the most colorful marches in the American march repetoire. Here it is played in a stately and animated way by the Texas Army National Guard 36th Division Band in April 2012. The occasion was American Heroes Weekend at Camp Mabry near Austin. CWO Jeffrey Lighsey conducts. [There is some wind noise that interferes with the sound.]

    Now all we need since it is texas is a shotgun firing as a bass drum

      Mom's Demand Action wouldn't care for the shotgun.

    Very good band playing a fine march. That being said, the sound produced from the type of snare drum they are using is awful. I can't imagine why on earth any military band (sadly, there are more than a few) would opt to use them. Use real snare drums, not these feeble sounding imposters. They add nothing to any piece of music, most certainly a march.
