Then he speaks to the Purge Trooper who works for Vader and you can hear the ISB talking about how much they dislike Vader's men throughout this part of the story. Then the guy at the end is just doing his job. He isn't particularly rude, just firm.
"Rather you than Lord Vader" Really shows how much the ENTIRE empire fearfully respects Vader. He'd rather die disgracefully to a jedi than at the hands of god knows what Darth Vader would do. As many have said in the comments, Cal sparing Denvik isn't mercy, its only handing him to a much more brutal end.
I have no idea why. He's easy with the right tactics. All Force-users are. Stun weapons. Lightsabers and the Force can't stop them. Stun 'em, kill 'em. Moving on.

I also find it weird that the officer called Cal "a new recruit" instead "you must be new here." Doesn't make sense.

I like Cal Kestis being so tough on the Imperials as well as his rampage at the Imperial base and by the way, slaughtering stormtroopers, purge troopers and droids while going after Bode was his own version of the way Darth Vader massacred rebels in the end of Rogue One, as well as Luke's slaughtering of Dark Troopers in the Mandalorian season 2. And Cal nearly killed Denvik is almost a reference to Anakin executing Dooku, plus "Do it." quote. His actions as well as the loss of Cere could be the path to the dark side for the young Jedi. And by the way, the developers finally made dismemberments.

I know the inquisitors fill the role of force sensitive imperials but I do wish that there were many lower ranked force sensitives (not even necessarily dark siders) that worked for the empire as officers or one sided negotiators.

At first glance this scene makes Bode sympathetic, just a father doing what's necessary to protect his family, while Cal comes off unreasonable and bent on revenge and maybe teetering on the dark side. But then you remember that Bode was a Jedi and a textbook case of putting one's attachments over the greater good, and he sold people out to the Empire - the agents of the Dark Side.
Do we ever get a reason for Kata clearly wearing a cloning uniform very similar to Omegas complete with a version of the Kamino emblem on her shoulder? Is she a clone?
I have an Xbox one and I’m really upset I’m not able to play this. I love games but I don’t spend enough hours playing to get a new console just for a new game. Fallen Order is one of my favorite games as well, loved it so much it only took me a couple of days to play through the whole story.
Do you get to keep that outfit as like a secret outfit? It would suck if they haven't learnt from the Inquisitor outfit of the last game and don't let us keep it
Cal should have let Denvik speak. It was obvious the Commander had something to lose and it could have been beneficial to both parties. That and I despise that the personnel say “New Recruit” and Cal agrees even though he has a ISB Commander’s rank Tab.
