Ernest Wang battlefront 2 was such a great game. The clone troopers were so amazing, unique armors and vehicles, legions and stuff. Stormtroopers were like all the same.
Agreed, I was looking forward to some galactic conquest like the old BF2 but nah, guess multiplayer will have to do for now. Still, the campaign for the old version was the highlight for me. Not to mention being able to board a separatist ship was the shit for me.

That’s so awesome that the rebels are using antiquated LAAT Republic Gunships from the Clone Wars. I guess it would make sense seeing the huge battle that was taking place right as the Clone Wars ended. I wish they would show more of the older stuff like CIS Droid Fighters or even Droid Gunships for example in the movies that take place after the Clone Wars. It would seem very possible because of just how massive the war actually was and how much equipment was used it seems like there would be a huge surplus of it still left after the war.
I think most rebel groups didn't use CIS droids as the clone wars successfully vilified the use of military droids in the majority of combat roles to the point that even after the end of the empire, few factions resorted to using them other than separatist hold outs.
Game looks beautiful, environments look stunning, and the situations you get to play in are unique and interesting, but man the animations and combat look so wonky.

Plus, it can save a clone from the vaccum of space for a brief time, they have extra oxygen tubes on their belt. The armor also contains rather a lot of sensory and communications equipment. On top of that it's modular, almost all of the clone specialist troops have extra training and modified armor. Like pilots, gunners, engineers, arc troopers, arf troopers, airbornes, commando's etc...
Plot armor... how did a blind guy dodge volleys of fire from the most elite Imperial soldiers. Plot armor. Why was Scarif, an Imperial research facility, with a space fleet vastly underguarded. Plot armor. Howd a single Awing take out the largest star destroyer. Plot armor. Most of star wars is based on plot armor lol
@@svfutbol20 Which is why the military wears ballistic plates that are rated to stop multiple rifle rounds.. no 5.56 can reliably pen any level 3+ or lvl 4 hard armor. Soft armor is used for shrapnel. In star wars clone/stormtrooper armor is noted ad being able to shrug off multiple blaster rounds, but star wars has awful plot armor cuz bad writing.. thats why in the books etc the clones can shrug off rounds multiple times, but stormtroopers are useless against any important character because theyre the "bad guys" In the clone wars book (TCW destroyed the lore so its kinda irrelevant but) Captain Rex talkd ab most clone fatalities come from the joints of the armor, as the chest plate can shrug off a couple rounds from any standard blaster.
I love clone troopers and I want there to be a clone wars dlc where u play as like a clone trooper and you play every battle even the geonosis one and then at some points you play as obi wan or Anakin it would be vool
