Toasting and chopping nuts for your cakes couldn't be easier. Pop them into a preheated oven, spread out on a baking tray on a centre shelf. Roast them according to the recipe, remembering to put on a timer. A mini chopper makes very light work of chopping nuts. A mini chopper is also useful for icing and sauces. Alternatively you can chop nuts with a long blade knife using a backward and forwards motion.
