Raven is so blessed! She is amazing already. She's lucky to have such a great mentor! Keep up the great work you 2! I would love to hear & see more about Mac!
I'm an educator myself. As soon as Raven starts sharing her knowledge with others, the words will come to her on their own. And she will gain a depth of knowledge that she wouldn't have expected. She will be great
Raven has a very good speaking voice - clear and concise. That a plus! She mentioned a couple of times that she prefers talking to people. That's a good start because it's not that she doesn't like talking at all. So realize that she IS talking to people - just that she can't see them. I also watch a UA-cam channel for piano lessons. The man who does them is always alone, but in the videos, he is talking to whoever will watch the videos. He cracks me up when he scolds us. "You should already know how to do this." kind of thing. But I'm sure he's thinking of formers students and his frustrations with them. -
It’s ok to be quiet probably why she makes a good horse trainer It’s the way the good lord made her but if it’s her hearts desire to change and become more verbal then she should do it But it has to be her choice with your good direction. She sounds very knowledgeable. Way to go Raven ❤
Raven, what a great horse you chose! A verbal play-by-play is good, but not to worry, you don't have to overdue it. MAC! What a guy! That water spray must have felt really good.
Great job, Raven! You are wonderful with Mac, most importantly. Just like with riding and training, the words to your audience will come more easily with practice. Great start 🏆
Awesome job, Raven! Loved it how Mac turned his ears back to you like "Hey, are we in trouble", and you just smiled him through his worries and said "no babe, let's go", and he's so proud of handling that thingie. Oh and yeeeeaaay, video bombing cat is there, too
It is good for Tim to be asking Raven questions to get her talking. I totally understand her shyness when speaking on camera...I would be very apprehensive. It is also hard to think and talk simultaneously sometimes.
I'd like to hear why you are doing what you are doing as you go through the exercises. You know what helped me, was taking Speech in High School. We had to stand up in front of the class and give speeches every week. It was kinda scary at first, but by the end of the semester it wasn't so difficult. You'll do great ! ❤
Raven your experience and knowledge is already more than my own so I definitely appreciate you talking and showing and explaining thanks so much for getting out of your comfort zone you did well 👍🏼
I'm a pretty quiet person. I'm sure youll be able to meet this challenge. Mac is a veryquiet horse. is that what you use to wet down the arena if it gets too dusty(just kidding.)
Raven gets him nicely collected right off the bat! I wish she were at my barn. I'd love to ride with her and learn stuff. She seems like a natural. And I'm quiet too so we'd get along fine!
I have started doing circles at the start of my rides, too. Seems to calm mine down a bit as he is a very forward Walker. Thank you for sharing that technique.
I’ve thought highly of Raven for a long time. I bet if she does a live and Malinda is reading questions, Raven will be able to repeat the questions and answer every one of them!

So wonder to have you encouraging young Raven i was lucky whrn I was a teenager to have Grandfather as my mentor for training horses. So enjoyablw see you mentoring Raven
I complained that I didn’t understand what my coach was telling me so he told me to get off the horse. I did and he got on the horse and told me to teach him something. I was dumbfounded. Didn’t know what to say. It’s not easy to instruct but we all think it’s a cake walk. I got the point anyway and we went back to work. It all worked out in the end. I really hope Raven makes the effort to learn coach language. She is a great rider and will make an amazing instructor.
When Raven said she was "softening his face", she was engaging his hind end and working his shoulders to get him to soften, she'll get there! Keep pushing her Tim! She's quite the hand! Great first time Raven!!❤❤❤
@@timandersonhorsetraining Thank you for schooling the next generation of trainers. I was in my mid 20s before I found someone to guide me. In my 70s now and delighted to see this young woman gaining these skills.
In our hyper verbal world it is refreshing to see people like you and Raven who say less and do more. Please don’t change too much!
I like how Raven started by stretching the front legs to make sure the girth wasn’t too tight. She shows a lot of horse sense and has a calm attitude.

Raven, you know a lot more than most of us out here. It's great to hear your from your experience and understanding!
Looks like Raven is so engrossed in communicating with the horse that she can’t talk to other people at the same time.
Raven, stay the course! When you do what you love, life is good.
Tim: an after thought for Raven… Maybe she could talk TO the horse about what she’s asking him to do, and how it will help him?
Good job, Raven, wearing a helmet even as annoying as they are! You set a positive example for safety in a very dangerous profession!❤
She’s a calming force for this horse. She is quite knowledgeable.

I love how Raven is always thinking of new games for the horses.

Raven, you have an audience, just we 're not in your sight. Allow yourself to put your thoughts and movements into words while its happening. 😁

I'd rather talk to the horse than people, Good job Raven. I can't stand listening to the fan. So I can't watch the whole video.

Raven is very relaxed and confident. You've got a great protoge there Tim.
I appreciate when I hear some of the verbal ques that you and Raven use with your horses in the training process.

Great Job, Raven!
Sometimes less ist more ;-)
Why? Tim is the talker, if she is shy let her be behind the scenes if she likes that better.
I enjoy Raven's quiet strength and the horses do too.
It isn't easy to talk on camera. Great job Raven!
Just keep at it. Repetition is the mother of learning.
