There first public showing was in Marin County,California. They were invited to play by Industrial Light and Magic (George Lucas) and the entire company was present, myself included. This stage set-up looks the same as I remember. We all stood up and with a warm and proud company yell, we welcomed all of them to a very successful future. The rest is HISTORY, THANK YOU ALL.
I saw them in New York in the 90's. Loved them - watching this video is bringing me back! Stomp and Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk were absolutely special.
When I went to the concert I remember this as my favorite part for the epiphany it gave me. I finally understood tribal music. the sheer power behind it, the frightening pace, the call to action, and the fear it must have given those who opposed the people who played it. I looked at the silhouettes of the dancers and was enthralled in their grip.
I can't even imagine how many hours and days these people had to practice with those sticks to get it right!! Awesome show guys, thanks for sharing! Semper Fi from an old Marine

Flamenco, Irish step, clog, haka, and all sorts of tribal dances - with punk mixed in. F’n brilliant!
Not only is the choreography a mental challenge for these performers; the physical coordination and endurance requirements are above average. Kudos!
