ehhh not really feeling this english cover.
Sapphires voice is fine as usual for Mob music, just Chang's and some of the effects used for voice and the instruments seem to hav less "oomph". (especially the beginning of the song)

Mostly it's just the lyrics they used that dont quite do it for me
I was feeling the same but I was leaning toward it being that Saphires voice doesn't seem to sound rugged enough to me (or something like that?) which made the whole thing feel like it's missing something

The only cover ive seen really close to the original one in lyrics you kept the "The cryin" part when everyone else was changing it to Darkness or so dark or something with darkness. But the original all the parts with "cryin" were in English and i don't believe they say that it was darkness i think they were saying it's MOB cryin out to control this inner power. But most were probably following the amylee and nathan's versions. Which they always replace deeper lyrics with something of less feeling or some buzz phase.
Another duet? Sweet rockin harmony is the phrase I use for this amazing cover!

ur not the only one. It sounded off and some of the effects for the voices seem to b lacking or poor.
overall the song feels like it has less "oomph".
Sapphires cover of 99 was superb; but this cover of 99.9 just feels average with some good parts.
