The show's original premise was to set up some people on blind dates that were supposed to be 100% genuine. It turned out the women in the red was a journalist and was likely only doing any of it for a story she was going to write for a magazine, but got called out and busted. While she was focused on a story, she ignored that fact that she was toying with a real person's emotions rather than a paid actor.
Nicole is pretty on the outside, but hideous on the inside. Poor Paul looked gutted, I hope life improved, even tho this was transmitted 20 or so years ago

Once you realise that she's successful in her life and has a devious side it makes her even more attractive than she was before 😍😍 she handled it very well
I remember this at the time and remember feeling really sorry for the guy he looked well pissed off and can't blame him what a sneaky bitch and how could Cilla say she still likes her and she lied so much not just about the undercover journalism but about being single when she was engaged i loved Cilla and had so much respect for her but lost some of it for her after that and you could hear what the audience thought of her!
