I recently shifted to the U.S. this video got tears to my eyes that others on a similar topic didn’t. It’s been super hard trying to find work, trying to get my photography business running again. In Pakistan I was the only photographer doing creative shoots and working with rgb lights, so that made me special and would have people praising a lot and felt like my presence made a difference, that my Existence made a difference. I’m sorry to hear about your experience as far as getting bullied on top of that from a fellow African I hope things get better for you and welcome to United States
I’m sorry you’ve experienced bullying, discrimination, and prejudice (What you described isn’t racism since it was someone of the same race, but it is EQUALLY horrible and shameful.). No one deserves to be hurt. I don’t understand why that lady treated you so badly, and I just want to hug you little sister. 🫂 I still want to welcome you because I’m happy you have brought your love, laughter, talents, knowledge, skills, culture, and joy to share with us in the USA. I pray it has gotten better for you.❤
You're very lovely, don't worry there are many nice people in the USA too and you will find your way to them. Enjoy your time here and when the time comes take that with you back home.
As a black American, I recommend u save as much US dollar as possible n work online full time if u not already. Also don't buy a home here cause the US dollar goes far overseas n heck I'm considering moving to Uganda, Kenya or South Africa once established cause our economy in the US is tanking badly plus not a place I'll marry or raise children n I want a lower cost of living n a more traditional environment 💯💯💯
I'm from America and I'm homesick 😢 the racism will make you feel like that as a black person. Like this is not my home. And it's so wild that a lot of people from other's countries view America as a easy and lovely place to live, I'm aware that yes, it is much easier than other countries but the mental things we go through here is no joke. But I love your channel, new subbie!

Girl, I can relate so much to your experience. I'm in Ireland and some of the Africans are the worst out here. I wonder why they forget that we are all here for a purpose and need each other at some point in life.
Also, people being brainwashed to think that Africans don’t like African Americans, without just learning to understand one another and ask questions to find the truth. I love learning, love your accent, and wish I had more people to teach me about the history of our ancestors. A lot of history was hidden from us and we were lied to for years. Also, the fact that many from Africa may not be aware of the racial struggles of being in America maybe because they were lied to or information was kidded as well. ❤ Black people still struggle in America for many reason but I’m sure you are finding out the truth.

There are some nice people who were raised right, and learn to treat people the way they want to be treated (like me or the guy who helped you). I feel that way about living in a northern state…and my family is from the south (Mississippi and Alabama). You seem so sweet and have a good heart. Don't change. A lot of the times people will try to break you, especially when they're not happy with themselves. And especially when you're pretty. I love America, but I always say blk immigrants usually have to trade the comfort of living back home with the convenience of America, which includes, running water electricity 24/7. Stores, entertainment, etc, within reach. But it comes at a cost, and that includes everything negative you mentioned in your video. Stay strong.
I’m very sorry about the racism that you went through. I certainly would’ve helped you with the microwave. I also can relate as an African-American. I have also experienced racism from my own race, although it’s very rare. Usually, I get the worse racism from whites, and people not from the US, like Afghanistan. Honestly, I have also experienced racism from Africans that are not from the US, several times. Racism is a big thing in the US. It’s very sad. Jesus bless you.
Sorry, but can't believe you didn't check THE SOUND of your you tube BEFORE and AFTER finishing recording. I'm now at 0:33 and if the sound does NOT improve I'm sorry to say so but I will NOT continue to listen to your relate! I'm actually curious if a little further down the road of THIS you tube you'll detect that the sound has room for improvement. WE SHALL SEE!
Oh no, don't feel sorry: I kept listening to your story and immediately regret acted that soon. In fact: something else kicked in(read between the lines....hahahaha!). I would like to app with you.......if THAT is not a problem for you. Question: are you at home with the theme of HAMITES and SEMITES. If NOT we should most certainly start apping with each other.
They are trying to break you because you intimidate them honey bunch dont let them get to you atleast let me also be prepared for this before I come over and now I need to learn how to drive more than ever
Oh yea! Someone gave me one advice, don’t make friends at work! Get along with them but they are not your friends! That lady was really mean and it was unnecessary!!! Weird how it’s African American ladies who are mean!! I have a lady who keeps picking on me at work! It makes me sad but you gotta block the negativity and do you girl!! Sending you 🫂
The thing is even if one makes 10m a month in UG its still not enough when you have a family. Maybe when you are single. So, working here in the US sente zo can build you a proper house back home if that is your plan to return. I hope things worked out for you eventually. You seem like a nice person.
Hii im a Student from South African really want to move to USA upon completion of my studies which is about a year ,can you please guide me on where and how to start preparing
I would like to ask the lady who slammed the door on you how she felt after treating you that way, I really wanna know what goes through people’s mind when they treat people badly, do they feel happy within themselves or what? I just can’t wrap my head around this. God have mercy
I'm watching this video as a manifestation, you are such a beautiful, elegant, and intelligent woman ❤ Sorry about what you went through, truly you didn't deserve any of that. About women at work even back home it's too much, I almost got depressed at my job then coz of fellow women. I hope to share my story one day. thanks for sharing this. God bless you 🙏
I am watching this video too as a modivation actually to be the best in my educational-academic journey and be able of coming to a university in the Us. Bullying is a very common problem actually and it's at the worst point especially in highschool(Secondary school in some countries) and workplace. My mother has been mistreated alot by some miserable losers and also me in school I was bullied for working as much as I could to make positive progress in my dream school. Good prayers for all! 🫰🏻💓
Well, our Ugandan systems don't train one in empathy and boldness and how it applies in different cultures. That's partly why it is hard for us to predict certain temperaments when we travel.
use your earphones bedtime please volume is kind of low... I have had that problem with Africans from Western Africa but not the from the east. I am an American who is traveling Africa. the only other problems I would expect you to have is maybe if you look at people to long and getting in their personal space when there is a line,I know it is a normal thing in Eastern Africa. and last Go the DMV and get your license
3:16 yeah you really gotta work for a social life here. It’s considered out the norm to just strike up a conversation with someone you don’t know at the store, or even with your own neighbor. I find this pretty sad and I’m a BIG introvert which is saying something 😂 I wish our society made it easier to talk to people we don’t know, cuz if I saw everyone around me doing it, I’d be more likely to do it as well.
Wow. This is my first time to hear about dv lottery and am so happy that I have watched your video Ugandan am also Ugandan by birth and right now am in Saudi Arabia working to get capital which will help me after winning dv lottery 2025 this year am registering and i have a belief that God will also make it for me in Jesus's name Amen. You did nothing. You are beautiful. You trigger their insicurity. Don't take it personal. I wish you all the best💪🏽
Thank you 😘🥰
Sweetheart please take heart we miss you in ug
I miss you too 🥺🤍
I’m very sorry about the racism that you went through.
Amen 🙏🏾 yes it is sorry about your experience
I’m so sorry that happened to you. We have to remember that the way people act/respond is more about them than you (us!)!!!
It’s ok dear 🤍☺️
Keep strong and focused
I wish you good luck
Thanks dear🤍🤎
Thank you Doreen this is really emotional good you got over it. #Goodlesson today
🙏🏽🥹🤍yaaa
Sorry, but can't believe you didn't check THE SOUND of your you tube BEFORE and AFTER finishing recording. I'm now at 0:33 and if the sound does NOT improve I'm sorry to say so but I will NOT continue to listen to your relate! I'm actually curious if a little further down the road of THIS you tube you'll detect that the sound has room for improvement. WE SHALL SEE!
So sorry about the Audio, it was low and I noticed after weeks of uploading it
Oh no, don't feel sorry: I kept listening to your story and immediately regret acted that soon. In fact: something else kicked in(read between the lines....hahahaha!). I would like to app with you.......if THAT is not a problem for you. Question: are you at home with the theme of HAMITES and SEMITES. If NOT we should most certainly start apping with each other.

Sending you 🫂
Thanks for the advice dear 🫂just don’t give her time some people are like that
The thing is even if one makes 10m a month in UG its still not enough when you have a family. Maybe when you are single. So, working here in the US sente zo can build you a proper house back home if that is your plan to return. I hope things worked out for you eventually. You seem like a nice person.
Ooo dea😢😢😢sorry about that mean person i guess u now far better so emotional
Thanks dear 🤍Yes Iam
Hii im a Student from South African really want to move to USA upon completion of my studies which is about a year ,can you please guide me on where and how to start preparing
My first day listening to you and I'm sorry to what happened to you but at the same time you're somehow funny ❤️
I hear, tukola mu bakadde! 😂 nice video
Trust me
All will be fine
I have a question, working in a day care, cleaning job for example in a hospital or school and taking of old people which one is better?
I would like to ask the lady who slammed the door on you how she felt after treating you that way, I really wanna know what goes through people’s mind when they treat people badly, do they feel happy within themselves or what? I just can’t wrap my head around this. God have mercy
I'm watching this video as a manifestation, you are such a beautiful, elegant, and intelligent woman ❤
Sorry about what you went through, truly you didn't deserve any of that.
Waaawo i have liked the way you explain and the video as well.
Thank you girl 🥰😘
Thank you so much honey for preparing my mind
Sincerely good ❤️ God bless you
Nice video, I never knew they thought tukola mu bakadde! 😂
Thank U am also feeling home sick and people back home think that you always have money am Ugandan too katuyelibe😊❤
So sorry about your experience at work on your first day
Thank you dear 🤍
Ooooh😭😭😭so emotional
🥺🤍🥹
Well, our Ugandan systems don't train one in empathy and boldness and how it applies in different cultures. That's partly why it is hard for us to predict certain temperaments when we travel.
Your right 🤍
Clearly they don't!
use your earphones bedtime please volume is kind of low...
Thanks very much for sharing dear
I really enjoyed this video. Very true.
Thanks dear ☺️🤍
you are such a good story teller
thank you so much for the awareness
Awww thanks love 🤍
3:16 yeah you really gotta work for a social life here. It’s considered out the norm to just strike up a conversation with someone you don’t know at the store, or even with your own neighbor. I find this pretty sad and I’m a BIG introvert which is saying something 😂 I wish our society made it easier to talk to people we don’t know, cuz if I saw everyone around me doing it, I’d be more likely to do it as well.
Would u make a video on how you got it green card
Surely I will
Bambi thanks for sharing your good information to us .
I moved to usa 4 years ago and there’s still nothing appealing. It’s all so fake! The life is so stressfull, work, drive, no social balance, everybody stressed out, anxious and busy all the time. Crazy lifestyle. People developing mental illnesses or chronic ilnesses early in life. I am so homesick for Europe Sometime I can’t believe I was so stupid to ever come to usa👎
