Agnetha has been a very solid solo artist, and I enjoy her songs very much. Her 1968 & 1975 albums I play very often, as her songs melt my heart with yearning. I first learned from her songs with the compilation of her early years, around my Coloring Book. I then searched for her early work on UA-cam, and from the on I was hooked by her voice, just like Björn. I hope she realizes how much we still miss her voice. Happy B- day to the Queen of Hearts
When I was standing in the crush at the front stage in Dublin at the final concert of their world tour on 15.nov,79 and just as they were to sing "the way old friends do",and there was a moments silence before benny started to play his accordian, I shouted, "I love you Anna "....for a moment she locked eyes with me and gave me that beautiful smile of hers....I was in heaven ❤..my then girlfriend, who was standing beside me wasn't too Impressed 😂....Happy birthday agnetha...you made my life so much better.....
Agnetha is a good singer/songwriter in her own right and has been very successful. We all know there were gaps in her later recordings. I watched a documentary about the years between The Visitors and Voyage last night. I was disgusted how the press treated her after ABBA took the long break. She has come through it all and recorded some more great music. May will see the 10th anniversary of A her most recent album. Happy Birthday Agnetha 🎉
I am one of the lucky ones as I have seen AGNETHA in concert with the rest of ABBA TWICE , and also met her and got her to sign a photo ,plus an added bonus I had a HUG / HELD HER NOT MANY PEOPLE CAN SAY THEY HAVE DONE THAT .I WOULD LOVE TO DO IT AGAIN , HOPEFULLY . Happy 73rd Birthday to our dear, beautiful Agnetha! I distinctly remember when I fell in love with her, hearing the opening line of "S.O.S." for the very first time, I was like: "WOW!" And from that moment, I was sold on this lady's voice - and Frida's, of course!!! I discovered ABBA around 2004, so just at the time "My Colouring Book" came out. And I remember how excited I was when "A" was announced - the same "S.O.S." thrill all over again both times! Since then, I've gotten my hands on both "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" and "Eyes Of A Woman" on vinyl. Put simply, I love everything she sings, be it Swedish, English, or German - and at this point, especially on "Voyage", of course!
Wow, I discovered ABBA in 2004 as well. An important year for the two of us. “A” in 2013 was an *incredibly* excited time. To actually *live* the release of an album by one of the ladies. And she really outdid herself with promotion, music video, documentary, interviews (with audience!), live appearances, and ALL. I thought it would be the best experience in my life as an ABBA fan. And then, they actually did it, all four of them together…!! I just can’t believe how lucky we are. And indeed, many have quoted those incredible opening lines, “Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find”. Right to the heart.
@@bobbysbrother137 I could not agree more with everything you say, BB! The "A" documentary was amazing, and I vividly remember my heart pounding when she stepped on that stage at "Children In Need" to join Gary Barlow for her first live performance in over 25 years! When she said: "I'm so glad to be here tonight", it made me wonder if maybe - just maybe - something like an ABBA reunion would be possible the following year, celebrating 40 years since Eurovision in 2014. But of course, I didn't quite dare hope what we all would be getting 8 years later...!!! Next year, the two of us will have been ABBA fans for 20 years, can you believe that?!
Happy birthday Agnetha! Thank you very much for your voice, talent and beauty. You are a true legend and most of all a very very hard worker! You have given us so much over the years. You delivered every song the very best you could. It’s a fact. We can hear that. Thank you for allllll your songs, it doesn’t matter in what kind of language. Your voice always shines through and touches all hearts around the globe. You are very very special. That’s what you are and will be for the rest of your live. Lots of love.
I have loved Agnetha and ABBA back when I was 15 in 1975 with Waterloo. From there on I couldn't wait to hear more from Abba. But when I heard that each member had solo careers before the formation of the group, I was curious and had to find out each and every song that they made. Agnetha is an angel on earth with her voice and her everlasting beauty. I will Always love her and Abba.
Happiest birthday, our dear angel Agnetha! You are a gift to this world, along with the other members of ABBA! Sending much love from The Philippines! ❤
Agnetha has always been my "voice of choice" if I had to listen to any female singer in the world. I love the voice of Frida (of course) and I love the sound of Agnetha and Frida together (of course)... but there has always been something in Agnetha's voice that just captures my attention and my imagination. And her performance on "I've Been Waiting For You" remains my all time favorite song ever. A lovely person and genuine superstar. The voice of a generation.
Agnetha has one of the most happpiest and shining voices I ever heard, for me she along with frida are the best melting mixing voices inthe history of music. Abba's music are in my ADN., We love you Agnetha your tendernes, sensibility and happiness arrive to all of us❤❤❤
Hej hej, BB. I had exactly the same experience as you with discovering Frida and Agnetha's solo work through that CD compilation The Voice of Abba. Much as I had loved ABBA, I never managed to listen to any of their solo work until I found this CD... it's great that it has both of them on one CD and really shows the great work they both did in the 80s. Thanks for highlighting this, and have a great Easter weekend.
Agnetha is the prettiest women who ever existed with talent and a voice to match her face her beauty is unmatched happy Bday Agnetha ! Best Agnetha Bday video out there !
Happy birthday Agnetha. She is truly the queen of heartbreak and sings with such emotion and I love her album A I hope she has a brilliant birthday. I love her album A when you really loved somebody and just one heart . The winner takes it all . Queen of hearts such a brilliant singer
The beginning of the year 1950 saw the birth of two of the best female singers of contemporary pop music. In the United States, on March 2, the remembered Karen Carpenter was born In Sweden, almost 5 weeks later, on April 5, our beloved Agnetha Fältskog was born. I consider both of them my two favorite female voices, and within a Top 5 including the male voices of Paul McCartney, Robin Gibb and Freddie Mercury thank GOD we continue to enjoy Agnetha with us her solo career and her participation in ABBA For me she is not the "Dancing Queen" (the lovely Frida deserves that title) but she is "The Girl with the Golden Hair" and for many of her admirers, like me, she would simply be "My love My life" I always relate the contexts, and it never ceases to surprise me that Agnetha in 1972 participated in the leading role of Maria Magdalena for the Swedish version of Jesus Christ Superstar, and a few weeks later she was recording her first song in English with the future ABBA "People need love" or her extremely advanced pregnancy at the 1973 Melodiefestival that would complicate the participation of the future ABBA in Eurovision, which finally found them fuller and more radiant in 1974 with the stellar "Waterloo" or that in August 1975 we find Agnetha working on her solo album (and also Frida), and doing a promotion and participation in a Swedish program singing two songs, and a few weeks later "S.O.S." exploded on the world charts, and ABBA would be such an irrepressible force that it would give them no more room to continue their solo careers. This shows that sometimes the planets align for something great, and that Something was ABBA, and it needed all four talents to be available to leave an indelible and unforgettable Legacy. "Thank you for the music" to Agnetha and many blessings from her on her 73rd birthday And tomorrow we continue to celebrate with the celebration of the 49th anniversary of ABBA's victory in Eurovision and their iconic "Waterloo" Thank you as always, for your attentive and careful videos, and for the love and professionalism that you profess for ABBA
Number one for me will always be THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL. I also love MY LOVE MY LIFE, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU and IF YOU NEED SOMEBODY TONIGHT. But practically every song with her voice is a gem. All the best, Agnetha! I will always love you.
Hello Bobby's Brother. I love Agnetha's early CDs in Swedish. I bought Agnetha Vol 1 and 2, then I bought Agnetha's box set which was 5 or 6 CDs? Happy Birthday Agnetha! 🎹 👍
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Agnetha! your voice has always been beautifully unique and a major part of the soundtrack of my life (along of course with the rest of ABBA). Thanks Bobby's B 🎉
Til lykke🎉!! The only singing artist I have ever known to literally hold a shout at the top of her range and give you goosebumps😮in strength of emotion. (Cassandra, Chiqititta). Happy, happy 73!
It was long after the success of ABBA in Spain that we knew that the four members had had their own careers before, so we didn't know about Agnetha's solo records, obviously. Her post ABBA records were edited, of course, but they weren't big hits. I love Man, Wrap Your Arms Around Me, Is This What It Means To Love, I Won't Let You Go, Just One Heart, We Should Be Together...and I Should Have Followed You Home with Gary Barlow. Happy Birthday my dear Agnetha, I love you and you're a part of my life. 💕
I also enjoyed Agnetha & Frida’s solo tracks on The Voice Of Abba. My favourites on that are Agnetha’s You’re There & Frida’s That’s Tough both b sides. My all time Agnetha track is Disillusion, just love that track which is also solo in Swedish, & The Day Before You Came’ which grows on me more with each play. Very underrated.. Thankyou BB for another great video, to Agnetha a very happy birthday, Thank you for all the great songs & memories.. we love you!!
I have been an Abba fan since 1988. My father bought me the first Abba collection cassette back then and I liked it so much that I wanted to listen to it over and over again. Agnetha has always been my favorite member. I love everything about her and her voice is pure gold. I never get tired of listening to it. My favorite solo album from her is I Stand Alone. I remember it very well from my childhood when I listened to it in the early 90s while playing with Barbie dolls alone or together with my friends. I especially like these Solo songs from her: Here for your love, Can`t shake loose, Let it shine, Mr. Persuasion, Många Gånger Än and many more. Thanks for this great video!
Very good video. I fell in love with SHE at first sight; on Christmas Eve in 1979... and I'm still in love with her. God bless you on this special day and forever!!
"The shining angel of melacholy" - that's exactly it! 10-year-old Thomas fell in love with Agnetha's melancholic voice in 1975 when hearing "S.O.S." for the first time! On Stimme der DDR as a child of the Bonn Republic!😅 It took me a few weeks before I first saw the Queen of Hearts for the first time on TV!❤
Happy birthday to you dear Agnetha ❤🎉
No one is happier than me, because I have a birthday on the same date as Agneta, so happy birthday Agneta, keep singing and writing songs because you are a very special person for people all over the world. ✨
beautiful beautiful beautiful gorgeous Agnetha , im sure you will be mad when I say this but she is the reason for ABBAs huge success , I love every work she does . She is so insanely beautiful and then the voice forget it . You fell in love with the songs , i did too but also the women who sang them . She has a rare once in a lifetime beauty a rare rare beauty and what is wrong with admiring this beauty its like a rare painting or work of art . Nothing shallow about that .
I met and shook hands with Bjorn and Agnetha,Frida was doing what she loves to do .?practising her dance routine on a tiny made up stage and Benny tuning up on his little piano. This was at Torquay and Paignton sea front in South Devon where a TV show called Seaside Special when out back in the 1976 l belive.Check out the video.....ABBA at Seaside Special uk
And you were there? Wow! A most wonderful performance, of course, ABBA at Seaside Special (1975). I love you descriptions, things that would otherwise be lost. Now I’m there, seeing them in front of me. Thanks for the nice memories.
When I heard 'Voulez Vous', I played that 45 constantly. I was drawn to her immediately, her voice, beauty, accent etc. I love so many of her songs, I couldn't list them all. 'I've Been Waiting for You, The Winner Takes It All, Man' etc. I saw them in concert in Toronto, Canada on October 7, 1979 and have been a member of their fan club for over 25 years. My dream is to meet her.
Don't know if there will ever be an Abba biopic. But i'm totally sure that no other females could ever replicate/duplicate 'the real thing' as convincingly enough as can be especially concerning both Agnetha and Frida. These 4 are Utopic and had a unique aura.I'll rather stay with the icon of their digital selves.Abbatars.
I knew from some Bravo articles about the existence of Swedish solo material but back in the day it was very difficult to get more information on them. I remember finding her 1975 solo album on a flea market in Copenhagen in 1984.. still my favorite solo work of hers alongside her first english solo from 1983. and I remember her first appearance on German tv without abba in autumn 1982 performing Never Again on Musikladen. An awkward feeling seeing her without the others. And rumors were already strong that ABBA soon will be no more. So mixed emotions but she looked really stunning and I loved her looks much more than her 1981/1982 style.
The German TV specials and performances (ABBA and solo) were always very special, I think. Thanks for the beautiful memories, that’s exactly what brings me back to a time I didn’t live.
I didn't know anything about Agnetha or Fridas solo work until recently on UA-cam. Until then, I didn't know they did solo work other than rumours to that effect. None of their solo work was ever played on local commercial radio and still isn't. For me, it was UA-cam, and your channel played a big part in my rediscovering ABBA, but I feel sad that I missed so much over the intervening years.
It's so difficult to choose just one favourite Agneta track! I'm not sure if this is even an album track, as l have most of her early recordings but have only seen this track on UA-cam. " SOV GOTT LILLA VAN. Sleep well, little one." Which l believe she composed before she even had her children. Absolutely, incredibly beautiful. I came late to ABBA. I realise now that the height of their fame coincided with my abusive marriage so l wouldn't have been watching their meteoric rise. But good things come to those who wait, and now l can immerse myself every single day in their music, from before during and after the ABBA days, especially Agneta's and Benny's work. I have almost everything they recorded, and also most of the books written by and about them, just one or two l'm still searching for. I treated myself last year for my 65th birthday, to the experience of Voyage. I'm even crying now as l recall standing in the arena with tears of utter joy and fulfillment streaming down my face. Agneta, Bjorn, Benny and Frida-Thank you for the music. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

A beautiful story... what a great memory to have!
'for a moment she locked eyes with me and gave me that beautiful smile of hers'...Chills!
What an amazing artist and talent. Everything she sings just draws me in immediately. She seems to just live each song and so lovely
Happy Birthday, Agnetha! Just BE, Dancing Queen! Thank You for the Music! With Love from Russia!
Happy birthday Agnetha 💕
I WISH AGNETHA A LOVELY HAPPY BIRTHDAY , AND I HAVE ALL HER SOLO ALBUMS AND LOVE HEARING HER VOICE , LIKE MANY PEOPLE DO , MY GREATEST / FONDEST LOVE TO AGNETHA ,LOVE ROB .XXXX.
Happy Birthday Agnetha fans from Brazil!!!❤❤👏👏🌹🌹
Wonderful Agnetha.
Ein Geschenk von Agnetha an uns Fans. Ob schwedisch, deutsch, englisch oder spanisch. Jedes einzelne Lied ist ein Geschenk. Danke und alles Liebe zum Geburtstag. ❤❤
You’ve come such a long way. It makes me so emotional, that we are here, and they are here, in 2023.
A very happy day to the girl-mother-grandma with golden hair !! ..
Happy birthday my beautiful singer. God bless very much. Kissses.
Happiest birthday, our dear angel Agnetha! You are a gift to this world, along with the other members of ABBA! Sending much love from The Philippines! ❤
Happy Birthday, Agnetha! 💛
Happy birthday to Agnetha from Estonians fans!
I love her voice
The most gorgeous and sweetest singer ever.❤
Happy Birthday Agnetha you are truly everyones angel
Agnetha is the prettiest women who ever existed with talent and a voice to match her face her beauty is unmatched happy Bday Agnetha ! Best Agnetha Bday video out there !
I love anything Agnetha sings. Her voice is so perfect. I hope she does another album.
Happy birthday Agnetha. She is truly the queen of heartbreak and sings with such emotion and I love her album A I hope she has a brilliant birthday. I love her album A when you really loved somebody and just one heart . The winner takes it all . Queen of hearts such a brilliant singer
Happy Birthday Agnetha , Our own Queen of harts ❤️❤️❤️
The beginning of the year 1950 saw the birth of two of the best female singers of contemporary pop music.
In the United States, on March 2, the remembered Karen Carpenter was born
In Sweden, almost 5 weeks later, on April 5, our beloved Agnetha Fältskog was born.
I consider both of them my two favorite female voices,
and within a Top 5 including the male voices of
Paul McCartney, Robin Gibb and Freddie Mercury
thank GOD we continue to enjoy Agnetha with us
her solo career and her participation in ABBA
For me she is not the "Dancing Queen" (the lovely Frida deserves that title)
but she is "The Girl with the Golden Hair"
and for many of her admirers, like me, she would simply be
"My love My life"
I always relate the contexts, and it never ceases to surprise me that Agnetha in 1972 participated in the leading role of Maria Magdalena for the Swedish version of Jesus Christ Superstar, and a few weeks later she was recording her first song in English with the future ABBA "People need love"
or her extremely advanced pregnancy at the 1973 Melodiefestival that would complicate the participation of the future ABBA in Eurovision, which finally found them fuller and more radiant in 1974 with the stellar "Waterloo"
or that in August 1975 we find Agnetha working on her solo album (and also Frida), and doing a promotion and participation in a Swedish program singing two songs, and a few weeks later "S.O.S." exploded on the world charts, and ABBA would be such an irrepressible force that it would give them no more room to continue their solo careers.
This shows that sometimes the planets align for something great, and that Something was ABBA, and it needed all four talents to be available to leave an indelible and unforgettable Legacy.
"Thank you for the music" to Agnetha and many blessings from her on her 73rd birthday
And tomorrow we continue to celebrate with the celebration of the 49th anniversary of ABBA's victory in Eurovision and their iconic "Waterloo"
Thank you as always, for your attentive and careful videos, and for the love and professionalism that you profess for ABBA
❤ I hope she had a beautiful birthday 😊🎉 Danke für den Beitrag!
Imponente carrera Agnetha, felicitaciones cuantos éxitos
Happy 73 birthday agnetha have a wonderful day 😘
Hello Bobby's Brother. I love Agnetha's early CDs in Swedish. I bought Agnetha Vol 1 and 2, then I bought Agnetha's box set which was 5 or 6 CDs? Happy Birthday Agnetha! 🎹 👍
Happy birthday Agnetha! All the best!! 💞
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Agnetha!
your voice has always been beautifully unique and a major part of the soundtrack of my life (along of course with the rest of ABBA). Thanks Bobby's B 🎉
Looking at her has been a cherished memory for me! 😁 Oh yeah, her voice is beautiful too. Happy birthday.
Feliz cumple hermosa Agnetha, mucha salud y bendiciones ❤❤💖🤗🌷🎉🎊
Beautiful woman and beautiful voice ❤ and my favourite album is A and some of her earlier swedish songs.
I love this woman! ❤
Happy Birthday Agnetha, Feliz Cumpleaños and ... "🎸Thank you for the music...🪗" 😉!!!
❤️❤️❤️ So ❤️ National 💐Beautiful ❤️ Brilliant ❤️Anni 🌹Anna 👑 ❤️❤️❤️ Happy 🎉73 th Birthday ♥️♥️♥️
Happy 73rd Birthday Agnetha! You are the light in my life! X
Parabéns Agnetha! Você continua linda! Deus te abençoe sempre, I Love you❤❤❤❤
I have been an Abba fan since 1988.
Happy and blessed 73rd birthday Agnetha,🍰🍷take care and stay healthy,i'm watching from kuching Sarawak Malaysian Borneo 🇲🇾
Very good video. I fell in love with SHE at first sight; on Christmas Eve in 1979... and I'm still in love with her. God bless you on this special day and forever!!
I was just listening to CD Voice of ABBA in my car. What a coincidence! My fav is Turn the world around.
Joyeux anniversaire agnetha!🇫🇷
No one is happier than me, because I have a birthday on the same date as Agneta, so happy birthday Agneta, keep singing and writing songs because you are a very special person for people all over the world. ✨
How interesting. I too heard songs for the first time from the cd The Voice of ABBA, and the same You're There, JOH and WYAAM were my favourite!
Buon compleanno Agnetha, mia splendida coetanea..!!❤
Agnetha , our Shiny Blonde Perfumed Angel!
beautiful beautiful beautiful gorgeous Agnetha , im sure you will be mad when I say this but she is the reason for ABBAs huge success , I love every work she does .
Feliz aniversário AGNETHA.
April 5th, 1950 can best be summed up by a lyric from my favorite solo song from Agnetha. “There was something in the air, maybe it was magic”
One Way Love, Click Track, The Queen Of Hearts and Once Burned, Twice Shy are my favourites by Agnetha
Agnetha you will always be our Queen most respected revered and the most famous woman in the world Love ya Agnetha Take care ❤❤❤😅
Onze of my favourites: När du ter mej I din famn.
