The phone is used to prevent Baldi from hearing where you are. There is also a Zesty bar which refills your energy bar after using it up whilst you sprint! The safety scissors cut the rope. (Go in the detention room to read about the charachters in the game.) The second notebook you are meant to get the third question wrong. Every notebook you get after that, you wont be able to answer the third one correct either. Every problem you get wrong, Baldi gets faster. Hope I helped!
