I've be watching since 2019, I was 42 and I was inspired by you to begin learning how to do nails. Mostly for myself because I can't always afford to go to salon. But I've gotten good enough that my sisters and nieces are letting me do their nails. I don't know if I'll ever take clients but at least I can take care of family and save them a coin or two. Girl you will get new clients. I went through that with hair people wanting to pay low prices. I went up i lost some clients some stayed. Guess what you get rid of the users. When you charging those low prices they should of been tippin you good. Family and friends def be wanting the hook up. No maam you got bills. Thanks for all the advice your giving. Keep going. What encouraged me to start was my love for actually buying press ons from the store & wearing them all the the time. I started wanting to see different styles of them rather than basic so here I am. Idk if it will become a business but it’s a great start for practice & I’m excited as well as nervous. Your story is definitely motivational.

Your really lucky to have supportive parents. Us who don’t we are a little less fortunate not to have a take off as young as when you first started. If I had A Mom and Dad like you who bought you your first products support you to get into cosmetology in high school I bet I’d have my own business too by now. Your lucky to have a stepping stone instead of starting at ground 0 later in life.
Yes she's lucky because just like you I don't have family or friends supporting me they all get their nails done but won't come to me I've been thinking of quitting I currently work in a Nail Salon that I really like but it's been hard to build clientele because my confidence is in the toilet right now!!! Because I still need to practice and I don't feel like I should be practicing on the clients that come into the salon paying their hard-earned money I do want to get better at being a nail Technician but I'm struggling so Bad right now!!😢

This is awesome, I used to have a duplex and I made my spare bedroom in a little "nail salon" and I would do mani and pedicures. I didn't charge my friends or co-workers but they would "tip" me and they would "tip" me really good and yes the products were not as expensive as they're now. Congratulations Hun

I’m late watching this video but when I started my nail journey was in 2018 I started watching you I since then went to school to obtain my license it was on hold because of Covid I am now a license nail tech and now I’m on to manifest and do a lot more my husband is constantly pushing me and I’m grateful for that I want to start my own polish and acrylic brand

Your really lucky to have supportive parents. Us who don’t we are a little less fortunate not to have a take off as young as when you first started. If I had A Mom and Dad like you who bought you your first products support you to get into cosmetology in high school I bet I’d have my own business too by now. Your lucky to have a stepping stone instead of starting at ground 0 later in life.
Yes she's lucky because just like you I don't have family or friends supporting me they all get their nails done but won't come to me I've been thinking of quitting I currently work in a Nail Salon that I really like but it's been hard to build clientele because my confidence is in the toilet right now!!! Because I still need to practice and I don't feel like I should be practicing on the clients that come into the salon paying their hard-earned money I do want to get better at being a nail Technician but I'm struggling so Bad right now!!😢

This is awesome, I used to have a duplex and I made my spare bedroom in a little "nail salon" and I would do mani and pedicures. I didn't charge my friends or co-workers but they would "tip" me and they would "tip" me really good and yes the products were not as expensive as they're now. Congratulations Hun

I’m late watching this video but when I started my nail journey was in 2018 I started watching you I since then went to school to obtain my license it was on hold because of Covid I am now a license nail tech and now I’m on to manifest and do a lot more my husband is constantly pushing me and I’m grateful for that I want to start my own polish and acrylic brand
