The thing that upsets me the most isn't even the whole lawsuit thing and who's right or wrong. But that nintendo has been making the same pokémon games for years; over and over with barely any innovation and when they do; it's often a 3rd party that does it. Pokemon snap, legends, puzzle league, colloseum, all done by another company. The mainline games themselves have never changed. Then comes along palworld, doing the very thing we dreamed of as kids and hoped for with the spinoffs/3rd party games. Granted its not the same, but it's close enough and Pokemon for some reason saw it as a threat to be squashed over something to learn from. Bare in mind the game was in early access a while before scarlet and violet came out; so they had time to learn. The decided to sue them, rather than cover their security which lead to a bunch of leaks which I feel would of been more important. I feel like the Pokémon teams priorities are in the wrong place. Focus on your own improvement rather than trying to take others down. If you need to sue them for reasons you can, but focus on your own problems and not others instead. Like maybe... make a game that doesn't crash on the main menu day one? A game that has all the mons you originally had and made an excuse for by improving animations (which they didn't) or at the very least try adding features you removed, back into your game. Remember stores that appeared on certain days? Hidden bases? I'd even take hunting fossils underground or a battle tower if you need some ideas. I hear that they aren't doing well because they got bored of making pokemon games. But then shouldn't you hire people who want to make them? There are loads of people out there that dream to work on pokemon, why are they ignored if the current team is bored? Shoot, I'd take that job for pokemon designs. I'd love to make Flamigogo (It's flamigo's evolution where its a 5 headed flamingo with 10 legs, like a swarm of flamingo; doing that funny walk of theirs). (Sorry I typed too much again >.> ) *TLDR* : Pokemon should learn from pocketpair and focus on their own problems, not others that might be a threat.
Look closely at 0:58-1:00, the player used the arm out stretched animation that the throw uses. In game now, we just hold out our hand and the Pal appears, in this trailer it looks to me like it was made before the lawsuit change, and as such needed to remove the part of the trailer that had the full throw animation.
The big tough faction leader doing fisticuffs with giant pals makes me realize I would love if this game added fighting gloves and like martial arts animations. The dodging animations and a lot of pal attack animations are already cool, I would love more vibrant combat, especially melee combat, for your character that doesn't feel like Fortnite pickaxe-ing.
Some fans did point out that the "Buff Santa" as people called him, how he captured the lion pal by fighting it by hand. They assume THAT will be the new capturing mechanic, going the Saxton Hale approach. While I think, Pocketpair are going to do an "Everything But" mechanic for capturing. Basically since they can't do the pokemon mechanic, they will add MULTIPLE ways to get a pal. Want to kick it's ass into submission? Up your strength stat to increase your chances. Want to TAZE it to be yours? Up your smarts? Want to tame it with food? Or Build rope traps to capture them, etc. Using the palsphere as just a simple object in the other hand, touch the pal.. BAM. Caught.
1:12 uh, multiply that by at least 10 and then some. But I've spent the vast majority of this time in breeding and stocking up on materials. Work hard for perfect passives now so it's easier when you crossbreed different species. Yakumo's partner skill has been such a lifesaver with that.
I'm glad, honestly. I was worried with them already having crammed rocket launchers, laser rifles, grenade launchers, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, Mk2 grenades, *and* gatling guns all in the span of only 6 levels, that they were going to stagnate on new weapons for a while and focus on just making new base tech to justifiably spread those weapons out over another 5-10 levels. I love the game, but at around level 40, combat starts to feel very different.
Personally, I would want them to refine the fighting in the game. If you've noticed when you swing the swords, it seems very clunky. They should really add combos to the game. More variety of bladed weapons and also make it. So you can switch the Dodge button to a different button on the keyboard. Because I have issues with that personally. Very fun game Love it Can't wait to see more. 🎉
Ooo I would love that! Melee is definitely lacking late game weapons as well. Having different cool attack animations with varying strengths as you use melee would be awesome.

No. But the game play can still feel as rich and massive, without all the glitches, that make the new Pokemon games look like they have been made by a bunch of high school game making novices, that don't really know what they are doing with what they have to work with.
