So this Vento came to us all the way from uttarakhand for some major maintenance work. So we serviced the car changing its engine oil, oil filter, air filter, diesel filter and AC filter. Also changed its steering rack, shocker mounts, brake pads, engine mounting, water pump, radiator and front tie member (shroud).

Steering is around 8k Plus labour...
Depends on the condition of Pulleys...
Plus we didn't change the timing belt. It was v.belt.

Hi am from Chandigarh I am facing long starting in my car vento 1.6 tdi during cold start so to overcome I switch on and off the ignition 2-3 times then crank the car what could be the issue after the car is warm then no problem it's only during cold start

VW Vento major service in 45k, omg that's very reasonable, my 2008 Swift major service costed me more than 50k,
I did my ventos major serice and almost costed 2 lakhs.. clutch, suspension,timing belt, mounts .etc.. car is performing like brand new.. now the car almost done 2 lakhs 50k kms... Planning to change .
