He was my favorite player and like others, was the reason I watched the Baltimore Colts. I have his jersey and wear it when I have gone to ravens games.

I always liked Bert Jones as one of my favorite 1970s quarterbacks.

Always loved watching him play. He was one reason I was a Baltimore Colts fan. The other was that they beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. 😁🐴

I almost forgot about number 35, Doughty, because of Lydell Mitchell. Doughty was a force of nature too.

I plan on it although I haven't started it yet. It'll probably be next September for his birthday at the earliest.

Love these hilites of games from the 60's 70's 80's when NFL football was great and so was the coverage of it.
The music of NFL films used for these videos was awesome Ed Sabol and his son Steve belong in the pro football HoF

Unfortunately his Baltimore Colts teams in the mid 70s were in the AFC during the Pittsburgh Steelers dynasty and those Oakland Raiders teams coached by John Madden

He threw the football like a bullet, like a MLB pitcher throwing a fastball.

Gutsy Quarterback, too bad he didn't have a great offensive line. He made stars out of other players with the Colts. He could run and throw like Steve Grogan of the Pats...gg, Tampa Florida

If this Baltimore Colts team played in the NFL of the last 20 years, they’d be an all time offense.
