This is such an awesome Drum & Bass tutorial I love it. Big up DNB Academy.👊
Excellent video
Brilliant tutorial. Especially enjoyed seeing the automation processes to add variation.
Cool trick I never thought to automate the portamento timing
Great tutorial. Nice sound and I learnt a lot 👏🏻
Please do you have a link for making the drums? Great tutorial!
Sick vid compadre. Subbed
Great vid learned a lot
thanks kool video
13:27 its spundin nice
hyper dimensions sounds a bit beter as last option, but cuz its bass with sub I think I would avoid stereo ofx. Phase issues. (or layer)
yeah i was kinda thinkin' the same, and it sure was sounding lil' better that way (fancy) but as you said since we were dealing with the sub maybe that indeed explains why he had to put it in its place lol. btw' thanks for bringing this up.
Which tutorial did the drums come from?
tutorial coming soon on that 🔥
no limiter or cliper on bass? is peaking all the time, or is that normal some how?
It is when you're on just focusing on getting the idea down as quickly as possible.
Mixing comes later for some people
i always got a clipper and a limiter on my master too and often i will do digital distortion on purpose cause it can lead to a cool sound :) Hope that helps and then i normally clip the bass group so i can save cpu etc
I can no longer perceive the lessons on the Serum as relevant.
Why
Better Serum than some expensive bit of hardware. It's almost as relevant as if he'd done it using Operator.
really trying to use the one every producer should probably have by now, also got loads of „current“ stuff coming so you can just skip it if it isnt for you. Cheers
@@screamartsdnb In my opinion, "Current 2" is best suited for DnB (Neurofunk) today. This is a revolution! It's an inspiration! This is modern flexibility, functionality and design! I will be happy if I come across videos with his participation on Your channel!
@@DnbNinety Because the "Serum" has been on the market for 10+ years. He's cool. But it is outdated morally in many aspects. I would recommend paying attention to synthesizers such as:
1) Current (BEST for DnB)
2) PhasePlant
3) Vital
4) Equator
5) Pigments
it seems lavking in character
