You seem honnest but If you think you can read quran just by yourself by setting a 10 minutes then you are not really serious to say the least. Your analysis was subjective . Those who study Quran study it from four aspects: Historical context, Languistically, Prophetic tradition and Quran itself(it means some verses depend on other verses to be totally clear)
What kind of evidence are you really looking for? You do realise that the concept of God is a metaphysical concept. Therefore, it can't really be explained by science, right?
you totally got it wrong..... this whole chapter is in metaphors...and you won't understand them because you don't know the structure of Arabic language
I stopped the video at min 6 and I wanted to comment upon what you said there about unjust god who plays trick. In another verse god said : even if I make them hear they would come back to what they used to do And in another verse it says : when the disbelievers saw hellfire they asked their lord to return to earth so they can do better he replied saying stay in it and do not talk to me. Even we took you back to earth you will come back to exactly what you used to do. So yeah he sealed their hearing and blinded them because of what’s in their heart. God is the one that does everything, he guide a guided person and misguide a misguided person with his reasoning and knowledge that you are not made to understand as he is the wise. You walk in your daily life with the feet he gave you and eat from his fruits and sleep in his land and you don’t know that nor appreciate it. You deny him who made you and expect that he will give you the vision !! The signs of our lord are around us and we live around it and when you are able to change what is within your heart you will find god the merciful there for you to say oh my servant... You can’t just read couple verses and explain them how you want. There is what’s called tafseer to actually understand the verses from the prophet and his friends
"You walk in your daily life with the feet he gave you and eat from his fruits and sleep in his land and you don’t know that nor appreciate it. You deny him who made you and expect that he will give you the vision !!'' .....how is he supposed to appreciate it when he doesn't know it? Your argument makes no sense.
BTW, in islam, we as muslims(in fact, any human being) have no authority to tell someone they are going to hell. That's a matter between them and their Creature. A knowledgeable muslim knows that he/she is not guaranteed paradise - that's why we ask God for it every single day (salah etc.)
Reading Quran and trying to understand it out of its context is not the right thing to do, you have understood most of those veraes partially wrong, the verses you read from the Cow is actually addressing those who knew the message is true and rejected it and those are ones who will be punished for been untruthful
Muslims do not claim that you can simply read the quran and become muslim. But well done to you for at least taking the effort to read the quran. As an atheist consider this 1 - if there is a God and he has sent a message to humanity, then that message should be accessible to you 2 - but you need to be totally honest and totally sincere in your desire to find out whatever the ultimate truth is. And only you know how honest you are in your search. Well perhaps many of us don't even know what our true inner natures are 3 - you judge the quran with your present preconceived ideas and your own peculiar idea of morality and truth. What makes you so sure that your opinions are consistent with reality or that they are adequate to judge the truth claims of anything. Isn't your opinion just your opinion? 4 - to truly judge the quran you needed to really experience it in its original nature. Now you cannot read Arabic, but what you can do is listen to the Arabic original. Surely if this is from God then there should be some effect on the soul from just listening to it. So have a listen to some Quran with an unbiased and unprejudging ear. In the final balance, the truth is the truth, whatever you say. If you are wrong and you are not sincere then take responsibility for turning away from the truth. And only God knows your true inner self and motivations and whether you are currently guided by truth or your personal prejudices. Take care.
The assumption is made that there is an afterlife. There is nothing to support this and neurological understandings reject this. Therefore, the existence of a god is irrelevent.
@@averagebrownguy4193 You should know that yourself if you have in fact read your book, if not google it, i'm not doing your work for you, don't be lazy.
@@brendastark9544 if someone reads the whole chapter they know very well what the verse says. But if someone takes a single sentence out of the chapter to try to assume whatever they want...then u tell me.
My freind you are not understanding it correctly. When talks about punishment it only talks about punishment for the ones who deserve it and you have to agree that punishment is necessary for justice.
@@kalformerhindunowatheist3362 Yes, my mother is an ex-christian now Muslim so we as a family have accepted Islam. I had to do my own research when I was about 15 but I reached the same conclusion as my Mother and decided to stay Muslim.
The qur'an is straight up, it's never been changed never been altered. However I feel like other religious books have changed due to the social context, and to tell people what they want to hear. I'm not trying to discredit any religion in particular at all. The words in the Quran may sound harsh, but people back in those days were accustom to punishments, you cant tell me ancient times were blissful days with no severe punishment 😕
I find it highly unlikely that the Koran was never changed or altered, considering: 1) it was only gathered up into one unified writted text over 100 years after Muhammad pbuh's death, and 2) there are even many Korans published today that differ in how they are written, this comes down mostly to the vowels and intonations as written in arabic, which of course the original arabic language had no markings for small vowel sounds (only "long" vowels; alif, wow, and ya). The differences are mostly minor, but these vowel differences do change certain words, so even today there are literally different Korans, in arabic.
Just imagine in the time of Pharaoh, how many signs Moses (pub) showed to Pharaoh (Exodus 9:12 ) and yet Pharaoh took disbelief over belief. As a result God harden Pharaoh's heart in disbelief so that he will sink into hell fire, similarly God says in the Quran there is veil in people's heart for this disbelief and you have one as well. You use your free=will to whether disbelief or belief.
(2:14) When they meet the believers, they say: “We believe,” but when they meet their evil companions (in privacy),15 they say: “Surely we are with you; we were merely jesting.” 15. 'Satan' in Arabic means refractory, rebellious and headstrong, and is used for both human beings and jinn. Although this word is generally used in the Qur'an for the satans amongst the jinn, it is also used occasionally for human beings possessing satanic characteristics. The context generally explains whether the word 'satan' refers to jinn or to human beings. In this particular case the word 'satans' refers to those influential leaders of the time who were in the vanguard of opposition and hostility to Islam اَللّٰهُ يَسۡتَهۡزِئُ بِهِمۡ وَيَمُدُّهُمۡ فِىۡ طُغۡيَانِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُوۡنَ (2:15) Allah jests with them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their rebellion. (2:16) These are the ones who have purchased error in exchange for guidance. This bargain has brought them no profit and certainly they are not on the Right Way.16 16. This means that two opposite effects emerged when a true servant of God radiated the light which made it possible to distinguish true from false and right from wrong, and made the straight way distinct from the ways of error. To those endowed with true perception, all truths became evident. But those who were almost blinded by the worship of their animal desires perceived nothing. The expression, 'Allah took away the light of their perception' should not create the impression that these people were not responsible for their stumbling into darkness. Only those who do not seek the Truth, who prefer error to guidance and who are adamantly disinclined to pursue the Truth despite its luminosity, are deprived, by God, of the light of their perception. God simply enables such people to do what they wish. (2:17) They are like him who kindled a fire, and when it lit up all around him, Allah took away the light (of their perception) and left them in utter darkness where they can see nothing. صُمٌّۢ بُكۡمٌ عُمۡىٌ فَهُمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُوۡنَ ۙ (2:18) They are deaf, they are dumb, they are blind;17 they will never return (to the Right Way). 17. They have become deaf to hear, dumb to utter and blind to perceive the truth. (2:19) Or they are like those who encounter a violent rainstorm from the sky, accompanied by pitch-dark clouds, thunder-claps and flashes of lightning: on hearing thunder-claps they thrust their fingers into their ears in fear of death. Allah encompasses these deniers of the Truth.18 18. By thrusting their fingers into their ears they temporarily deceive themselves into believing that they can escape the catastrophic end that awaits them. However, they cannot escape that end since God with all His might, encompasses them. (2:20) It is as if the lightning would snatch their sight; whenever it gleams a while for them they walk a little, and when darkness covers them they halt.19 If Allah so willed, He could indeed take away their hearing and their sight.20 Surely Allah is All-Powerful. 19. The first parable refers to those hypocrites who disbelieved completely but had become Muslims merely, to further their worldly interests. The second parable refers to those who were prone to doubt and hesitation or whose faith was weak; who believed in the Truth but not to the extent of exposing themselves to hardships for its sake. The 'violent rainstorm' here alludes to Islam, which came to the world as a blessing. 'Pitch-dark clouds, thunder and lightning' refer to trials, tribulations and difficulties which confronted the Islamic movement, owing to the violent opposition and resistance of those committed to Ignorance. The last part of the parable portrays the state of mind of the hypocrites. They move a little ahead when circumstances seem favourable, but when either difficulties cloud the horizon, or when they are given directives which run counter to their desires or inherited prejudices, they are seized with alarm and come to a halt. 20. Just as God has completely deprived the first category of hypocrites of their 'light of perception', He could have rendered these other hypocrites totally blind and deaf. But it is not God's way to deprive anyone of sight and hearing while he is willing to see and hear. Hence, God allowed them to retain their sight and hearing to the extent they were prepared to see and hear the Truth.
As a fellow atheist, I appreciate this video. I like the laid back and logical approach; letting the holy folks know why you're an atheist by cross-examining these texts. Of course, religious people won't want to know our perspectives, what sticks out to us as a con or a grift. However, some will want to know, so this video will be eye-opening to them.
which one is hard to make a phone or a person. it is obvious that a person is hard to make. if you believe nature is what made you why then would it make a harder thing than an easy thing. Why we don't see weird objects in life such as an electronic device or a thing made or adapted for a particular purpose, especially a piece of mechanical or electronic equipment. Why these things weren't made by the thing that you think made you?
@@couscouswoman You bring up an interesting question. I want to thank you, and I like your perspective, and I want to tell you mine. Why I believe living cells can be made through "happenstance," and phones cannot is because: The experiments (Miller-Urey, 1953) with organic compounds in vats of water show bubbles and recombined organic compounds forming, simple compounds combining into more complex ones inside bubbles. These compounds can, given a long time, produce RNA encased in a bubble, a structure much similar to archaebacteria today; those thought to be the earliest life form. Some RNA encased in lipids, formed somewhere on the planet over a long time, is feasible. Once that happens, that thing copies itself and grows into all life on earth on its own, no prompting needed. When it comes to a phone, some electronic devices require patterns and multiple parts, but a look at nature reveals there aren't wires, plastic encasings, and electric organized circuits forming in ponds and rocks. Not without the help of living cells anyways. Adaptations may be accredited to a god if they weren't so dependent on happenstance, themselves. Think about that first ever bubble that copies itself. A kink in that initial RNA molecule supposedly changed so it can spill out to a different pond and still survive. Models of timespans for one type of living thing becoming another let us know just how much natural barriers get in the way; evolution doesn't go around the problem consciously in a small time-span; a lot of members of the living things die when they encounter an obstacle, and only by chance, some feature they already have, grows into something that lets them finally get over said obstacle. Circuitry and devices, even very simple microscopic ones, would have to be made with much more intent than cells: one tiny bit of metal shaped like wires doesn't make more wires and circuitry, on its own.
@@ArborealOreo I understood what you wrote. I have a question that counters act that. You said that happenstance makes living cells. Why then happenstance doesn't make biological objects that are not alive. Like a piece of meat, or a piece of fat. It is easy to make a piece of flesh than a complete human being. In nature, energy is conserved. because of this, it is easy to make simple things than complicated things. Entropy increases in nature, but to me, making a human being will decrease entropy. It seems to me that something is pushing against entropy and making human beings, animals, and plants.
This message is for the atheist: You need to understand that God is not human. His logic is different from ours. What I noticed from the video is you are treating God like a human. You want him to be nice. The concept of nice is human. If you were created by a chance why didn't the chance create something simple like a phone or a spoon? why did this chance have to create a complicated being like a human or an animal? why didn't the chance create a box or a metal spring?
I was a Muslim now nearly an Atheist, I've put the Quran in context, I have questions that need answers. My former brethren, before you try to turn me back or attack me, know this, NO verse in the Quran contradicts another in the book, but before you get all excited I must ask why does God need Angels to do his work, why can't he do all the work by himself other than the fact he can NOT reveal himself? When I die why cannot my soul fly out of my body by itself? Why do the Angels have to come to get me?
***** I can read, but I have no idea what I'm saying, my mistake you're right, its "Gabriel". My father is from Egypt, I'm from NJ. ;) I was raised as a Muslim by my father. However, I do know little for ex, Jana= Heaven Jahanum= Hell Fire, aren't I right?
Hi, I am Muslim and I know Arabic since it is my mother tongue but the high level of the Arabic language used in the holy ku'ran makes me ask scholars to understand the meaning of many chapters. So how could you claim to understand the very meaning of what you have been reading?!! If you are really not biased and If you are sceptical, Try to contact a Muslim scholar .
Thanks for making this video. I am a practicing Muslim, it was interesting to see you read it. The meaning of Muslim is “one who submits.” I would just say you are approaching the book wrong. You have developed an idea of what God should be like and are searching for a religion that will validate your belief. With that logic, everyone could argue God does not exist because he doesn’t fit the criteria I have set for him. I would suggest looking for a book that without doubt is the word of God. Once you are convinced it is easy to submit. You are intelligent, certainly more than myself. I would recommend dedicating a month or more to really learning the religion, and not just the translation of the Quran. This is best done by talking about each point you raised to a Muslim.
Have you asked yourself: " But why does Allah(swt) keep those (specific) people from hearing, seeing and awareness (of there own actions)? I am sensing that your are keeping the interpretation on the surface. Each sentence has multiple layers. And this is where the power is at.
@luvnbeast LMFAO the fact that u cite wikiislam and I'm guessing thats a link to apostates channel too, shows how lost u are. All of these have been refuted by Mohammad hijab and EfDawah. I'll give u a link regarding science and Islam and why the philosophy of science holds more significance than elements of science like evidences. Here I think u can watch from minute 10 to get to the topic of science. ua-cam.com/video/iSyh-dzQ61A/v-deo.html
@luvnbeast dude I've seen your same comments on multiple videos. Everyone knows you're not here for debate you're just going around trying to argue spewing around bs u hear on random hater channels. You never actually watch ant refutations made by opposing authors so there is no point wasting time on you. Keep spitting out random nonsense instead of focusing on one argument, otherwise u might get exposed like your beloved David wood and apotate.
@luvnbeast yes it's called using philosophy of logic. For example, everything that begins to exist has an originator/creator. The creator is the only one that didn't begin to exist because he is eternal, therefore not created. That creator must be singular in essence because logically more than one creator would cause chaos in decision making etc. Now which creator specifically and what his attributes are depends on things like revelations and which one makes most sense logically, but pretty much all have similar wordings and concepts indicating they are from the same creator sent through time, it's just about finding the most accurate and preserved one at this time. See that's how logic works. Not 'i refuse to believe in any creator because I haven't seen heard tasted or smelled him.'
@luvnbeast wtf are u talking about with who is 2+2? I think you're so lost and just going around religious videos just to make nonsensical comments because u have no purpose to your life, now u wanna drag other people who actually have a moral anchor with a higher purpose with you.
4:35 Your comment at this point , it seems you have not understood the point , God is elucidating the requisites of the people who will believe in this Book, in that he says that the people who believes in unseen, points out that these people will use their intellect , as you know in science we believe only on observation, experiment or intellectual inference . God is not speaking of blind faith.
Reason for believe. The Quran explains what believe is. It doesn't ask you to accept blindly as you are told but rather asks you to examine whats being tought, the world n your very self. The Book will ask of you to deny it n come to agree only after you explored n tested all matters in question.
@5:28 Is the reason why you dont read the Quran like this Because if you read further, you will know that its actully speaking about those who constatnly reject the message even though it becomes clear to them Its not speaking about someone who wanted guidance and God blocked HIM LOL READ THE FULL QURAN AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IN MANY CHPATERS IT DESCRIBES WHO THESE PEOPLE are
Look if you don't brush your teeth , it falls off . There are certain laws dominating the material and spiritual world , you have to follow . I also think your understanding of the word mercy is pretty shallow too
Thank you for taking the time to research about Islam. I know someone has suggested that to do a real research you should actually ask someone knowledgeable in Islam. Its even advised for Muslims to read the Quran translation with someone who is knowledgeable in Islam because they would be able to explain it in debt to you. Reading straight translation of the Quran is raw material that you would a lot of explanation for. It would be like an English learner reading Shakespeare. Good Luck !
Yes alhamdollah like Also you can have these 1- sex with kids and guys 2- kill go heaven 3- 4 guys all night 4- 72 .5 vergens 5- 9 wifes 6- all you can lay Beautiful religion
And if you have any doubt anywhere in the Quran , seek help from the scholars. You can never understand quran to its full potential without having knowledge of the history of the prophet and the context of the verse. If you don't read the quran with context that is with Tafseer(interpretation ) then you will be misguided
I must say that you are a very sincere person and a real seeker of the truth... Trust me as long as you search for the truth you will absolutely find it . Nice vid,,thanks for sharing ...peace
Reading without understanding is like a a donkey that carries literature who isn't aware of the value of which it carries, only the weight of the load.
keep searching , my brother in humanity. God gave every human being free will to chose and when you chose disbelieve Allaa withdraw his protection. That is the meaning of the verse that you read. It is cost and effect. If you keep reading Quran you will understand it by God's will
Athiests should not pick up a poor english translation of the Quran and dive in. Exegesis of the verses of the Quran is a subject in itself. Athiests should just focus on the topic of tawheed and basic message of Islam and outline of islamic beliefs and discussions surrounding that...
the verse about setting a seal on the hearts isn't done on purpose. it is done to people who get the message and still choose to ignore rather than search. they are setting the seal on themselves as they turn the heart into stone with arrogance and ignorance. we become more lost when we keep ignoring
I would suggest that when reading the Quran to remember that the verses are related trying to draw a lesson from an example or story. It also tries to appeal to different groups of audience, some heed to a warning and others of a possible punishment. Most importantly is to have a clear definition of God, it can vary from one religion to another. Thanx
1 When you say you deny God existence, have you got any evidence like in your observation, intellectual inference which you may put across, and then say I have enough evidence to prove that God doesn't exist. You haven't done that.
I think u need to continue reading and searching and I will suggest u to hear the recitation in Arabic of what u are reading because this will give u the message in its purist way
Keep reading. I would also try to approach it not from being a non-believer, but rather, if I did believe and did good, how would it be for me. If you then dont like what it says, fine. Approaching it from an atheist side you might find yourself on the defensive... The quran isan ocean. The more you learn, thereis something around the corner that will surprise you.
Btw I'm 11 and I'm a Muslim. When u said that god is merciful but he makes them deaf, what it means is that the disbelievers don't care and dispute with false arguments to refute the truth. Because they are ignorant instead of having a guiding friend to lead you to the right path some people choose the way of the shaytaan. May allah guide u and everyone else in this universe to the right path
You have 114 surahs. You must read them all before having an idea. Don't forget neither that what you are reading is a translated text and translation doesn't always reflect the true original text. Therefore, try to read different English translations.
Once again to raised the point which you could not understand. These two verses talking about hypocrites. (2:13) Whenever they are told: “Believe as others believe,”13 they answer: “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” 14 Indeed it is they who are the fools, but they are not aware of it. EXPLANATION: 13. They are being asked to become Muslims in the same manner as others of their community became Muslims 14. They think that those people who sincerely embraced Islam and thereby exposed themselves to all kinds of trials and persecutions, and confronted risks and dangers, were merely fools. To them it seems sheer folly to invite the hostility of the entire land merely for the sake of Truth and righteousness. In their view, wisdom consists not in bothering oneself with the distinction between truth and falsehood, but in remaining concerned only with one's own interests.
Brother you will find his evidence in the coming chapters where he talks about the big bang creation of the Universe and his signs in this universe to understand his existence.
Also ask a muslim imam in the mosque if you question, do research from good sources. If you don't get answers Allah will deal with you justly on day of judgement but if you get the right answer and u turn ur back... U can't complain.
The classical Arabic is almost impossible to fully translate... many of the Arabic words have multi-dimensional meanings. It’s helps to look a a few different translations. Ultimately a translation of the Quran is only the translator understanding.
as an atheist, I recommend for you to read the science in the QURAN you will be amazed you will find scientific facts from the BIG BANG to embryology. many Christian scientists have converted after reading the science in the QURAN. you will come to the conclusion that this text could not be been written by humans in any way, but the almighty himself ALLAH the GOD of Abraham.
First of all you need to know the meaning of word ''Kafir". it is mostly translated as "disbelieve'', but it is not accurate. The actual meaning of the word kafir is- 'the man who hides the truth'. by the word ''Kafir'' Quran does not indicates intellectual disbelief but blind following. if you know the meaning of kafir then you will understand what kind of blindness Quran talking about.
I am an atheist myself but from Islamic background; I have studies Islam from certified books. I respect Islam more than any religion expect social values derived from rationality and modern secular science and morality. Quran and Islam are historically preserved, Islam is honest to face the responsibilities of its certified text, most of the criticism Islam gets is because it doesn’t change itself as the social requirements of time. Islam has become obsolete as the world order changed altogether otherwise Islam was a healthy social system in fact the most successful and positive social system before science and rationality revolutionized the world. Muhammed was an intelligent person he know that being militarily strong could lead his followers to success - he framed amazing social system of fascist nature, made healthy changes, equality( via zakat system) for the followers, healthy lifestyle, prohibition of alcohol, personal hygiene, healthy food, And above all people participation ( conscription) and method of fair share of booty rule. that made a perfect militant society. In those days military success was the only way of prosperity, success and dignity for a nation. Muhammed achieved it for his nation.
I can tell this is your first time reading this, your taking the words literally. When God talks about someone deaf or blind, Allah doesn’t mean someone who’s actually blind or death, it’s a metaphor for someone who rejects faith
Reading Quran you have to know the time it was revelaed. You reading it with out knowing the context. Also its best if you read according from the first surah that was revealed which is surah 96. Al Alaq and so on.
You should start reading from the end of the Quran rather than beginning. As when the Quran was originally revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) the Surah Mufassal (a particular group of surahs were revealed initially rather than the major commandments.
Brother please do read the Quran and ask the muslim scholars what the verses that you're reading are actually mean and also ask why they been revealed.
No, you can't just dismiss the book and refer to authorities. I've read the bible, the quran and lots of religion. It's all fairy stories, you need to rethink the idea of heaven, hell and an eternal soul, because that's just the candy they're luring you with. Do you realize the impact on a 5-year-old if you tell them they will burn in a lake of fire for eternity unless they believe in God? Mohammed was in his 40s, sitting in a cave, meditating, thinking and for some reason he saw an angel, the archangel gabriel showing him visions of heaven and hell. First a garden with two brooks of blue water. Then a lake of fire. I don't know if there were gases in the cave like the oracle in delphi who also had visions because of gases emitting from the earth at that specific spot. Maybe he was just in deep meditation, thinking about the stories surrounding the jews and jesus and mary and her miraculous birth of allah's next prophet, but 2 billion people believe that Jesus was God on earth. Do you agree with the christians that there is some magical land full of eternal fire which some crazy fictional character (like a big dick, seriously hateful god) has constructed to torture those who don't live up to his standards. But he won't tell us what his standards are, the bastard. He sends down some guy who might be himself made flesh or mary was raped by his immaterial penis, the holy spirit. (I'm mean, you don't believe in the trinity do you?) Then he sends an angel to talk to a guy in a cave. Why did he manifest himself as buddha, as nature, as every story ever told? Humans have invented thousands of gods, do you believe in those as well? Why write tonnes of different religious books that all contradict each other? How does that help? I have a suggestion for you. Look at other books. There are books that explain quantum mechanics. There are books that explain black holes. There are books with numbers like 200 billion stars in our galaxy. Books about youtube statistics. Books about number of words in other books. Books about a blue guy with six arms called Vishnu, millions of people believe he exists. Yes, millions of people believe there is a guy with six arms. And you're gonna choose to stick to the quran because your parents are muslim? If this world is the creation of god, then god must be a lazy fucker. I want you to tell me to go to hell. That's like telling me I will turn into a frog named Duck. I'll be like, chill, you might need some medication for that. (mimes rubbing lotion on your shoulders) btw, the sexual innuendo was intended. Well, I'm off to convert another unsuspecting follower of the abrahamic religion (I mean, they are 4+ billion, it's for a good cause after all) who comments on youtube videos. I'm sorry you had to hear it like this. It's not your fault you were told all these stories. You had to learn the hard way. (Actually, I'm beginning to doubt that I have actually successfully converted you to atheism yet, maybe I should put some more stuff lin, like the errors of predicting the future and comparing them to other prophets and dreamers and seers and fortune tellers and spirit talkers. (did you know that jesus and lazarus are zombies in the bible? it's true, it's in the new testament, the word of god, so it must be true.) So, just let me know if you're converted yet or not, I got plenty of more stuff, like radiometric dating of dinosaur fossils, the gradual shifting of continental plates, the rise and decay of continental plates (that's a real lake of fire. The crust is about 30km think, or something like that, the exact distance is irrelevant, and at certain areas of the underside of the plates, the warm currents (yes, lava currents, just like wind and ocean currents) press from below, this results in volcanic activity, molten lava or magma or whatever, flows out and builds a mountain, At the bottom of the pacific, new crust material is constantly being made from magma rising up and cooling into the plates, adding to them and pushing them to the sides. This crust is thin and expanding. To the sides we have the americas. the west coast of the americas is lined with mountain ranges stretching from pole to pole. That's because the expanding pacific plate grinds against the west coast and pushes and is pushed down into the magma again. This crust turning back into magma pushes on the currents, directing them to build more mountains and have more volcanic eruptions. But the new rising plate is not the only one pushing and shoving for more elbow room. The older, thicker american plates are moving towards the pacific and therefore slide up it. While sliding on top of the pacific plats there is creasing, the creasing of the plate we call mountains. You can see the same thing where the indian plate broke of from africa and crashes into the asian plate to form the Himalayas. Kilimanjaro lies in the middle of the african plate, far from a plate edge. So, why does it have volcanic activity? There is simply a warm current flow upwards there, just like some winds are hotter than others and move faster. Colder magma has a higher density than hot magma and so gravity will pull it down and the hot streams can push up. 100 million years ago, while the dinosaurs lived, all continents were gathered together, so basically all dinos lived on one big island at that point. Earlier, this supercontinent, named Pangea, had been broken up and reshaped several times. Did you know there has been life on earth for more than 3.5 billion years? At one point, the earth was covered in ice from pole to pole. It would have remained that way forever because the white ice cover reflected a lot of heat. I don't remember what caused it to melt, but i know it was either volcanic activity or bacteria. If it was volcanoes, then the volcanoes emitted carbondioxide (possibly another gas from the magma). Or was that about rain or oxygen starting to appear on the planet? I have no idea about this. Anyway there were lots of bacteria, living in colonies, turning oxygen into carbondioxide (like animals do) so much that the greenhouse gas trapped the suns energy, causing the ice to melt. As I said, I don't actually know if it was bacteria or volcanoes, I can't remember, but anyway, (this post is way too long) religious texts are nonsense and you should look at other texts to confirm this and then you can look at science for contrast and then you can make up your own mind about whether or not you wish to keep believing all the crazy supernatural stories.
Enleuk I am really glad that I heard from you and responded. The reason that I've said "ask muslim scholars" is because the original language of the Holy Quran is not English but it is Arabic. On the other hand, the problem you have with religion is that somehow you seem to be you stuck in the middle of all these religions which contradict each other but that is not the case, what I mean by this is that there is always been one religion on the earth ( a Way of life) but people divided their religion among them into sects because of land and wealthy. The biggest problem you have is that you're blaming God without knowledge, I think the reason you blaming him is that you heard others (atheists) doing or saying so. But rather find out for yourself about God and don't blindly follow what some men said about God, found out for yourself. PLEASE DON't BE OFFENDED about that. What I want you to do is to ask yourself questions like "Why am I on this Earth? and Whatever that brought me in it what do they want me to do?" because at the end of the day we're human beings we're not materials which has no feelings. And please don't relate your life with Science because Science is only a knowledge which people study because at the end of day you will be gone without it and IF there is a HEREAFTER (After life) it (Science )is not gonna help you about your deeds. So please do find out about Islam, it also talks about all those things you mentioned about Galaxies, Islam is a Way of life. I am really looking forward to hear from you.
ReadTheBook I'm not sure how I'm gonna reply to that. I mean, you're wrong about every single thing you write. It's not easy to discuss religion. I wanted to give a casual shot at convincing you there is no God. At first I just thought I'd quote Nietzsche and say "Has he not heard the news 'There is no God?'", you know, a lot of people are atheists, but that would've been quite arbitrary and incomplete. But you didn't seem to understand the criticism, you ignore your relation to judaism and christianity, you ignore the material view of the world and all the details I specified about it, you dismiss the specific critique against your argument from authority by saying it was a matter of translation, that's a very cheap cop-out, especially considering we are talking about the very word of an omnipotent mind. And you make a long list of prejudiced accusations against who I am and why I believe what I do. Maybe I am an atheist because I have read a shit-load of books and know a shit-load of stuff? This is not about IQ or anything, and most people probably overestimate their grasp of the universe, but even so, I have read the quran, let me remind you of that, and I have read norse mythology, greek, roman, egyptian, druids, scientologists, taoists, solipsists, jehovas, mormos, 7th day adventists, buddhists, vishnaism, bramanism, shamanism, voodoo, gnosticism, mysticism, dervishes, zoroastrianism, dream time, nagarjuna, descartes, swift, locke, kant, quetzalcoatl, thor, odin, heimdall, tyr, frey, siv. Did you know that according to norse mythology, in the beginning there was a land of fire and a land of ice existing in a void. Where they met, the ice melted and evaporated forming blocks of salt. A cow named Audhumbla was born from one block and licked another for sustenance. The cow licked one pillar into a giant named Ymer who suckled the cow. Then Odin and Vile and Ve were born to Ymer and killed him, turning his hair into the forests of the planet, his blood into its river and oceans, his rib cage into a mountain range et cetera. I wanted to mention the stories in the bible because as a muslim you are confronted with the problem of relying to some extent on the bible, but dismissing the majority of it, despite 2 billion people saying it is the exact word of god and one does not get to pick and choose from the lord's commandments. You don't seem to understand the outcome of studying all the different religions. Maybe you havn't studied other religions, maybe you have been told that the plethora of religions is a sign that there is some kind of universal theme among them, but if you had actually known the details of the manifold superstitions you would come to the conclusions that people are making up stories to give answers to difficult questions. I can relate to that, if I had not read about evolution, I wouldn't have a clue where humans came from. The universal theme of religion is not an omnipotent, benevolent guy with strange rules and immaterial rewards and punishments. The universal theme is that of wishful thinking. I'm gonna try to correct your prejudice. 1. I don't blame god for anything for the same reason I don't blame the invisible unicorn in my bedroom for anything. 2. There was never a point of a single religion in history that later split up into factions. This is true for the abrahamic religion, from which point of view you are looking at it since you are a muslim. Similarly, there was never a time when everyone spoke the same language like in the bible story of the tower of babylon. Men built a tower to reach god, a metaphor for men pretending to be gods with all their fancy new science and technology, and god punished them by destroying the tower and transforming their languages so that they all got different dialects and could no longer communicate with each other. 3. I don't need to search out god for myself or ask the question why i am on this earth. This questions are trick questions, they are begging the question. I child who didnt understand evolution would ask how a monkey can turn into a human, instead of asking how genes mutate and mix through sexual reproduction, a method that has existed on earth for hundreds of millions of years. Another muslim once said to me, if you put all the pieces of a car in a pile on the moon, would it evolve into a car after a million years and suggest that this was evidence only a will could construct complex things. That is clearly evidence of a lack of detailed knowledge about complexity in the universe and the gradual build-up of larger complexes. But again, that wasn't his fault, he just had never heard of the evolution of the whale, how viruses implant their DNA into animal cells, how photosynthesis works, why bees build hectagonal pockets, I could list examples for days here. You're begging the question when you ask "why am i here" because that implies you are a this specific spot for an intended reason. You have implied in the question that it has to be a supernatural answer. Which brings me to the next point. 4. We are materials that have feelings. Feelings are neurochemical processes in the brain caused by stimulation of the body's senses and internal stimulation from ongoing brain activity, such as thinking about happy/sad memories. We are very much material and feelings, consciousness, thought, personality, wants, desires, are all part of our material being. There is no soul, again, I'm sorry you're having to find out the hard way, but so far it seems you're not really accepting any of what im saying to maybe it doesnt matter. There is no soul. The greeks believed in a soul, the indians believe animals have souls, descartes wrote "i think, therefore i have a soul", which is silly today when we know how the brain produces thought. Hundreds of millions of hindus believe their souls are eternal and each time they die they will be transported from one body into another. Just like lots of people see angels, like mohammed did, or see jesus, or ghosts, or ufos, there are lots of people who claim to remember past lives. This is just wishful thinking again and another mental construction of our own imperfect brains. Just like deja vu, you know that feeling when you remember that you're seen what's gonna happen before. "What's happening now happened once before", you're thinking and maybe convince yourself you can foresee the future. I've had 3-4 such experiences that I can remember. But there is a scientific explanation for this, (who would have guessed?) The working memory of the brain, which handles the most recent sensory stimuli, like the past 15 mins, repeats the same neurochemical activity many times per second (this is also how certain music loops get stuck in our minds sometimes) and each times it's repeated, its signature pattern is copied over to the long-term memory. After enough repetitions we will be able to remember what we were now thinking some time much later. That's why you need to reread stuff to really learn and understand them. Anyway, sometimes, the connection isn't working perfectly. In the middle of the process of copying from the short term to the long term memory, the thought will exist in both at the same time. Usually the brain knows this and there is no problem, but sometimes it misinterprets the situation for a few seconds or so. It will look at the thought in the memory and compare it to the thought about what is happening in front of your eyes and (they're same thought at this point in the copying process) so assume that what is happened now has already happened before, evidenced by its occurrence in the memory. It's just a glitch, but there are many such glitches among humans. So yeah, there are lots of books about souls (which incidentally i have also read), but to be honest, there is no good reason to believe in a soul, so there isnt much incentive to making the investigation of the existence of the soul the path to understand the broader issues about god. 5. And lastly, you talk to me about an afterlife, threatening me with a lake of fire, despite the fact that i raised the question of how such threats can really mess with a kids head. I dont know how you can ignore this brainwashing and mental torture of children and not only fail to address, but then talk to me about the afterlife as if it wasnt the equivalent of the lord of the rings trilogy.
Enleuk You have the right to choose whatever you want, according to my religion there is no compulsory on people. But anyway nice to talk to you man, isn't it good that we share our ideas so we might understand each other's points of view.
Great video. You've been very respectful and polite in your reading, arguably moreso than the book deserves. As someone who doesn't believe in things due simply to wishful thinking and despite lack of evidence, I'm thinking of reading the Quran myself, but I have little confidence it will sway me in favour of Islam, judging by the nonsense present in the first few lines..
i think He blocks atheists from hearing depending on their choice. at the end, all depends on choice. you for example: chose to believe in evidence, you chose easiest path.
You misunderstand a lot of things I advise you not to explain the Quran from your point of view, you have to read reliable explanations of the Book . You think there are a lot of contradictions and this is another big mistake. If you are really honest, you must read the whole Quran beside the Islamic scholars' explanations. After that , you give your judgement. May Allah guide you to the right path.
Hello, In the Qur'an the word "Alrahman " comes in verses that is fearing people(the Muslim interpretations understand it to be "the Merciful") , this means it is not what Muslim understand this word "Alrahman " , that it is one of the name of Allah. This also what confuse the Arab in the period of revelation they don't understand this word, you can see there answer in sura 25 line 60 ( And when it is said to them, “Bow down to the Merciful "Alrahman " ” they say, “And what is the Merciful "Alrahman " ? Are we to bow down to whatever you command us?” And it increases their aversion.), they ask question like you somehow (they were strong in the Arabic language!!). Then you open very important argue, that what the Muslims after the prophet understand this word is not correct. but you are not the only one, there is a group of Arab Muslims discuss this issue and they discover that this word "Alrahman " do not mean "the Merciful " but the other word mean this "Alraheem" that is the second word in the sura 1 that you mentioned. Greetings "Alrahman "= الرحمن "Alraheem" = الرحيم
islam is the last warning to mankind and jinnkind thats why the truth is harsh on soft egos. God sends thousands of prophets the last massage is more like repent or hellfire
The quran was revealed over a period 23 years. Each verse a response to a specific event. Reading selected verses which can be interpreted to align with your personal opinion does not represent a sound study. Also the exclusion of the context of the verse quoted is the source of significant misunderstanding. The quran does not need to comply with the moral opinions of individual. Also the fact that the quran challenges you to identify the defects is conveniently not discussed. Saying that verses contradict each other is not the same as proving it. My challenge to this atheist is prove. Don't state it.
Hi !! Back to sourat 2: Sign(verse) 6 translated by " those who have disbelieved, it equal to them weather you warn them or warn them not they will not believe. " the word translated by " have disbelieved " is actually in arabic " kafaru" in which we can derive the arabic word " kaafir ". " kaafir means someone who know the truth but yet he still deny it or cover it" so " kafaru means those who know the truth and deny it Knowingly" those persons God will not guide them. Yes because you are not seaching for guidance.Same thing as the sign 10 about God increasing their deseases, you just need to pay attention to the previous signs you'll get to know why. This time it's about hypocrites who would like deceive Allah and the believers and they used to lie. anyone who want guidance, need to be honest and sincere. Allah is the all knowing!!!!!!!
If you want to believe in God, why don't you one sit down on your own and ask to guide you if he is there. He is merciful he will guide you. But do it with sincerity.
Successful in the Quran means you win the next life if you do right things , God gave us birth and death ( Time ) so we can Judge on our ( Brain = Intellect )
1st of all, you've done a very good job explaining your views in an objective and rational way. Forget about the harsh criticism my brothers gave. based on your reasoning, i have no reason to blame you even if i disagree with some of them. i understand that you view Allah's decision is quite unfair and dictating. i can reply to that, but now let's focus on something more objective. for the sake of argument, even if it's true that Allah is unfair, but if He does exist, we still have to accept that fact and worship Him. harshness of commandments does not prove the nonexistence of God. now, as an objective person, it is better if we analyze the Qur'an and check if it's man-made fallacy or truly inspired from God. and let me tell you, i haven't found even a single historical contradictions. the linguistic level is the best, to the point that some professors who were paid hundred thousands dollars to try beating the linguistic level of the Qur'an, turn out become muslim. they couldn't do it. there are also many specific modern scientific hints in the Qur'an, which was impossible to be guessed 1400 years ago. but for starter, you may check the final chapter of the Qur'an, where the concept of God was explained completely in 4 simple sentences, in arabic rhymes. other religions struggle to explain the concept of God until today. but Allah is the Most Wise, He can do it in such simple way, poet form, and complete at the same time. actually, Allah only conceals the heart of the arrogant unbelievers. it is not Him who simply conceals someone's heart, those people are the one who chosen that path.
I'll give you some knowledgable western muslims, so you may contact or meet them. - Dr. Jeffrey Lang. ( An Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Kansas ) - Hamza Yusuf. Really appreciate your willingness to read the Quran .......you talked about the things you read till now haven't proven the existence of God ,for that you have to bear patience and carry on reading as it will come ,not only once but a lot of times ..........I also like that you stop and think about what you have just read, that is a very nice approach and you will find that it is recommended in the Quran to do the same........Even I don't get some things the first time I read it consequently I have to go ahead and come back twice thrice etc,so would advise you the same....
I see that his reading out of context as he is an atheist his reading from a point of view as if his expecting someone to only address him as an atheist, the Quran was not sent down just for you but for many different kind of people
I don't think he means to read it out of context, he probably went through a different journey and experience that led him to interpret the verses differently than you do. Similarly, you would have thought of it the same way when you went through his shoes. Diffirent people will intrepret a song or movie differently depending on the time, their upbringing, culture, knowledge, self awareness and experience.
You have misunderstood 2:7, it's talking about those people who keep sinning (ie murder etc) their hearts will turn black. For every sin there is a black dot in ur heart unless u repent. However if someone keep sinning they will seal there own heart and will not repent.
Nonetheless it already stuck on the 1st chapter when saying God is all merciful as there is no evidence of its' existence.
What kind of evidence are you really looking for? You do realise that the concept of God is a metaphysical concept. Therefore, it can't really be explained by science, right?
the funny thing u asking for evidence when most of things u do and believe
you totally got it wrong..... this whole chapter is in metaphors...and you won't understand them because you don't know the structure of Arabic language
if you could only choose one if you or love one was very ill what would you do prey or go to the hospital
I stopped the video at min 6 and I wanted to comment upon what you said there about unjust god who plays trick.
In another verse god said : even if I make them hear they would come back to what they used to do
And in another verse it says : when the disbelievers saw hellfire they asked their lord to return to earth so they can do better he replied saying stay in it and do not talk to me.
But we're allowed to remind people about the hell fire and condem them but not in a hipocrite way
@luvnbeast the Quran is all the evidence you need
@luvnbeast ignorance you show
@luvnbeast what do you understand by "magic"? You don't know what are you saying. Allah is the Truth.
@luvnbeast Don't be ignorant. Dawkins doesnt know what he is saying. The theory of evolution is a lie that comes from Satan
Reading Quran and trying to understand it out of its context is not the right thing to do, you have understood most of those veraes partially wrong, the verses you read from the Cow is actually addressing those who knew the message is true and rejected it and those are ones who will be punished for been untruthful
bs
Muslims do not claim that you can simply read the quran and become muslim.
But well done to you for at least taking the effort to read the quran.
As an atheist consider this
1 - if there is a God and he has sent a message to humanity, then that message should be accessible to you
2 - but you need to be totally honest and totally sincere in your desire to find out whatever the ultimate truth is.
And only you know how honest you are in your search.
Well perhaps many of us don't even know what our true inner natures are
3 - you judge the quran with your present preconceived ideas and your own peculiar idea of morality and truth.
Therefore, the existence of a god is irrelevent.
you said 'neurological understandings reject this.'
Interesting. Please explain.
It's only because modern science hasn't advanced enough, one day it will, then what will be the next argument to prove?
What is neurological understanding?
+Black Stone
It's the understanding of neurology.

Contradictions??
show proof you ignorant pig.

15. In this particular case the word 'satans' refers to those influential leaders of the time who were in the vanguard of opposition and hostility to Islam
اَللّٰهُ يَسۡتَهۡزِئُ بِهِمۡ وَيَمُدُّهُمۡ فِىۡ طُغۡيَانِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُوۡنَ
(2:15) Allah jests with them, leaving them to wander blindly on in their rebellion.

(2:16) These are the ones who have purchased error in exchange for guidance. This bargain has brought them no profit and certainly they are not on the Right Way.16

Hence, God allowed them to retain their sight and hearing to the extent they were prepared to see and hear the Truth.
this urgently need a part 2 😂
Keep reading you will get the answers for your questions . Peace
i was going to write the same answer
Why I believe living cells can be made through "happenstance," and phones cannot is because:
The experiments (Miller-Urey, 1953) with organic compounds in vats of water show bubbles and recombined organic compounds forming, simple compounds combining into more complex ones inside bubbles.
***** Thats a failed demonstration to me, I need you people to answer, not a video response.
Still don't think he is so great.
You mean when I die?
Yes, I think his name is spelt Jibreal in English. Btw, I have taken back all what I have said, sorry for bashing. :)
***** I can read, but I have no idea what I'm saying, my mistake you're right, its "Gabriel". My father is from Egypt, I'm from NJ. ;) I was raised as a Muslim by my father. However, I do know little for ex, Jana= Heaven
Jahanum= Hell Fire, aren't I right?
And this is where the power is at.
that verse refer to the disbeliever during Jesus and Moses.
If there is no God then we are nothing
@luvnbeast wrong
4:35
Your comment at this point , it seems you have not understood the point , God is elucidating the requisites of the people who will believe in this Book, in that he says that the people who believes in unseen, points out that these people will use their intellect , as you know in science we believe only on observation, experiment or intellectual inference .
Yes keep on reading till the end.
@5:28
Is the reason why you dont read the Quran like this
Because if you read further, you will know that its actully speaking about those who constatnly reject the message even though it becomes clear to them
Its not speaking about someone who wanted guidance and God blocked HIM LOL
READ THE FULL QURAN AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IN MANY CHPATERS IT DESCRIBES WHO THESE PEOPLE are
I recomended to you Jeffrey Lang to understands some versus of souraht 2
u look honest keep searshing ul find the truth...
Look if you don't brush your teeth , it falls off . There are certain laws dominating the material and spiritual world , you have to follow . I also think your understanding of the word mercy is pretty shallow too
Well merciful and patient is different, merciful means whenever people ask you for forgiveness you will always forgive him
Thank you for taking the time to research about Islam. Good Luck !
Yes alhamdollah like
Also you can have these
1- sex with kids and guys
2- kill go heaven
3- 4 guys all night
4- 72 .5 vergens
5- 9 wifes
6- all you can lay
Beautiful religion
And if you have any doubt anywhere in the Quran , seek help from the scholars. You can never understand quran to its full potential without having knowledge of the history of the prophet and the context of the verse. If you don't read the quran with context that is with Tafseer(interpretation ) then you will be misguided
I must say that you are a very sincere person and a real seeker of the truth... Trust me as long as you search for the truth you will absolutely find it . Nice vid,,thanks for sharing ...peace
I'm interested to hear your thoughts at the end
Reading without understanding is like a a donkey that carries literature who isn't aware of the value of which it carries, only the weight of the load.
keep searching , my brother in humanity. God gave every human being free will to chose and when you chose disbelieve Allaa withdraw his protection. That is the meaning of the verse that you read. It is cost and effect. If you keep reading Quran you will understand it by God's will
Lewis 72. i am sure 99% of what you think you know are what others told you and you accepted without any evidence.
Athiests should not pick up a poor english translation of the Quran and dive in. Exegesis of the verses of the Quran is a subject in itself. Athiests should just focus on the topic of tawheed and basic message of Islam and outline of islamic beliefs and discussions surrounding that...
Allah is the Most merciful Most Kind.
This is thd nain Translation
Had He been All Merciful. Then it sould be Impossible to punish anyone.
You can't read quran without historical context. You should pick a translation with commentary. I recommand the oxford translation.
THE QURAN IS PERFECTLY CLEAR AND FULLY DETAILED AND SELF EXPLANATORY. IT DOES NOT NEED EXPLAINING.
You ask yourself and then respond to yourself for what yourself like it; this is exactly the meaning of first verses of Cow Chapter
the verse about setting a seal on the hearts isn't done on purpose. it is done to people who get the message and still choose to ignore rather than search. they are setting the seal on themselves as they turn the heart into stone with arrogance and ignorance. we become more lost when we keep ignoring
mocks does not mean mock literally, but rather what He does to punish them, i think
No update from ur channel
I would suggest that when reading the Quran to remember that the verses are related trying to draw a lesson from an example or story. It also tries to appeal to different groups of audience, some heed to a warning and others of a possible punishment. Most importantly is to have a clear definition of God, it can vary from one religion to another. Thanx
1 When you say you deny God existence, have you got any evidence like in your observation, intellectual inference which you may put across, and then say I have enough evidence to prove that God doesn't exist.
You haven't done that.
I think u need to continue reading and searching
and I will suggest u to hear the recitation in Arabic of what u are reading
because this will give u the message in its purist way
Keep reading.
Really man ? You hadn't translated it right
You have 114 surahs. You must read them all before having an idea. Don't forget neither that what you are reading is a translated text and translation doesn't always reflect the true original text. Therefore, try to read different English translations.
Do you stopped here from then?
Once again to raised the point which you could not understand. These two verses talking about hypocrites.
(2:13) Whenever they are told: “Believe as others believe,”13 they answer: “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?”
14 Indeed it is they who are the fools, but they are not aware of it.
EXPLANATION:
13. They are being asked to become Muslims in the same manner as others of their community became Muslims
I see that you have only made this video and stopped , it would be interesting if you continued reading the Quran and interpreting it
If you already knew it, why not understand it??
May Allah guide you
Brother you will find his evidence in the coming chapters where he talks about the big bang creation of the Universe and his signs in this universe to understand his existence.
It's talking about hypocrites who say they believe but are lying.
Naff respect for your honesty..
as an atheist, I recommend for you to read the science in the QURAN you will be amazed you will find scientific facts from the BIG BANG to embryology. many Christian scientists have converted after reading the science in the QURAN. you will come to the conclusion that this text could not be been written by humans in any way, but the almighty himself ALLAH the GOD of Abraham.
Mashallah MASHALLAH MAY ALLAH ALMIGHTY BLESS YOU
Farah Siddique Allah bless your open mind.
Are you still alive? Please give us some news. May almighty Allah guide you to the straight path my brother.
It says in the very old BIBLE THAT JUSUS TALKS TO ALLAH ALMIGHTY
First of all you need to know the meaning of word ''Kafir". it is mostly translated as "disbelieve'', but it is not accurate. The actual meaning of the word kafir is- 'the man who hides the truth'. by the word ''Kafir'' Quran does not indicates intellectual disbelief but blind following. if you know the meaning of kafir then you will understand what kind of blindness Quran talking about.
Anyone know where he disappeared to😐
it's ok..
just keep on reading..
He already read it. its finished and now back to normal life.GBU
If you like Islam so much, why did you leave?
an advise, dont judge until you read the all book and you will see the truth. and if you dont understand a vers so search the context, in the net
I can tell this is your first time reading this, your taking the words literally. When God talks about someone deaf or blind, Allah doesn’t mean someone who’s actually blind or death, it’s a metaphor for someone who rejects faith
This guy is a joke .. acting honest and sincere while he isnt a bit honest and sincere. He is already full of prejudices and opinionated.
try to read Al Baqarah ayat 6 and 7 as one and you will understand what it means
actually, you need to read Al Baqarah ayat 6-10 as one theme, don't read them separately because you will lose the context
once u learn Arabic u will know why Quran is revealed in Arabic :). Arabic is a totally different language.
You didn't read anything I wrote, did you? I would not be surprised it you were a bot.
Keep reading....I like your approach.
You will soon find why this book is from Allah.
i think He blocks atheists from hearing depending on their choice. at the end, all depends on choice. you for example: chose to believe in evidence, you chose easiest path.
if you reading the Qur'an please with an open mind, thank you.
how I can reach you so we can talk about it??
You misunderstand a lot of things I advise you not to explain the Quran from your point of view, you have to read reliable explanations of the Book . You think there are a lot of contradictions and this is another big mistake. If you are really honest, you must read the whole Quran beside the Islamic scholars' explanations. After that , you give your judgement. May Allah guide you to the right path.
Hello,
In the Qur'an the word "Alrahman " comes in verses that is fearing people(the Muslim interpretations understand it to be "the Merciful") , this means it is not what Muslim understand this word "Alrahman " , that it is one of the name of Allah.
Greetings
"Alrahman "= الرحمن
"Alraheem" = الرحيم
islam is the last warning to mankind and jinnkind thats why the truth is harsh on soft egos.
Allah is only Merciful toward those believe in him. There is no trick in Quran.. Try to read it from cover ti cover and don't be hasty in.
Beautifully explained!!!
I'll give you some knowledgable western muslims, so you may contact or meet them.
- Dr. Jeffrey Lang. ( An Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of
Kansas )
- Hamza Yusuf. ( An American Islamic scholar )
- Yusuf Estes is an American Muslim preacher. Lastly, I will let you with one of Dr. Jeffrey Lang lectures, that actually benefited me although I'm muslim: (Unfortunately I couldn't add it).You can find it in the UA-cam by this title: The Purpose of Life -By Jeffrey Lang
your interpretation is so wrong, you need expert advise
have you read the bhagavad gita?
